Do this to your flat tappet lifters. (Old Video from when I just started making videos)

If you flatten a camshft your using the wrong breakin assembly lube. Alway clean your lifters. Dont just install them in your engine. The lifters from when they are made have a solvent that has been contaminated. Lifters must be cleaned deburred and inspected.

I disassemble a few lifters from each replacement set to make sure the factory cleans them internally. Then I test-pump them all in diesel or kerosene to make sure they aren't collapsed.
