You did a Great job! It’s good to see a young man sharing his knowledge with us! Kudos to your Dad also for the gift so you don’t have to get down on your kneebers! 😂 Thanks for allowing him to teach you these skills. 👍🏾
This is the EXACT video I needed after buying the saw and stand over Black Friday. Now I can unbox both items and assemble and start my project. Thank you!! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the nice comment. I got the 7 1/4 because I wanted the slide miter saw and because it's battery and portable. Also for the size. I love the saw.
Just found your channel. I got the sliding miter saw and stand from Home Depot sale. I need to assemble both. Your video made it look simple & easy, thanks!
Just got myself the Ryobi 10" compound sliding miter saw yesterday. Looking forward to learning a ton about woodworking, DIY projects around the house and eventually passing on that knowledge to my son and daughter. Wish I could've started as young as you, bud!
Let's just say I'm quite a bit older than you, but I've never used a miter saw/stand. In just over 15 minutes, you showed me how to set up the stand and 10 inch sliding compound saw I just bought. Kudos to you for making an easy to follow video. 👍🏽 I'm impressed. Keep up the good work!
Great informative video young man, your dad should be proud of you, fantastic to see a young person like you using and knowledgeable about power tools and building. Nice gift from a good father!!
NIce, I was too busy sitting on my butt playing video games, wish I had been out in the garage leaning how to build stuff at your age. Keep up the good work!
This is the best assembly video I have seen for this piece of equipment. I was very impressed by your clarity and understanding. I also nominate your dad for Father of the Year.
I have the same saw. I upgraded the blade to a 40 tooth milwaukee finishing blade and added a blade washer with a lazer guide. You would swear its the lazer making the cuts its so smooth. You could loosely fit the stand adapters to the saw on a table or other larger flat surface. I was scared you were going to drop the saw and break it.
You are a very lucky young man to have a father who supports your dreams and aspirations , I hope one day my grandson grows up to like power tools and is handy with them as you are at a young age . I'm already looking forward to taking him to homedepot for the first time , he will be 5 in April.i am wondering at what age did you become interested in power tools ?
Just picked up one of these today. Normally $179.00 at HD and Ryobi online but marked down to $161.00 HD online. Got to the store and the tag on the shelf had it at $129.00. With my Military discount got it down to $116.10 and with tax final price was 124.23! They had 10 of this one in the video which is rated at 300 lbs with the support arms that extend out 7 feet. I got the last bigger one that Is rated at 400 lbs and the support arms extend out to 9ft! Both versions were the same price at $129.00 and I think someone screwed up on the price tags at HD by not paying attention. Both versions have the same model number of A18MS01G on the box but the one I purchased had the model number as A18MS01 on the shelf tag.
I agree, first thing I do with any new saw is ditch the stock blade for a Diablo. I got a Kobalt 7 1/4" sliding miter saw and put a 60T Diablo finish blade one it and keep the Kobalt 40T as backup.
I wore the Dewalt blade out cutting all that pine so I just bought a 7 1/4 Diablo 60 tooth and it cuts nice! So smooth without tear out. Thanks! I'm learning as I go.

Right on! This is exactly what I came here to see, the saw on the stand and the process, outstanding job! Keep up the good work and build on!!
Great video! Thanks for helping me put my stand together!
The room looks great. Thanks for the video. I had no idea that the metal pieces on the end could be used like a jig. That will be really handy.
Yeah I think that's pretty cool
Just got the 10" Ryobi miter saw with the stand. I think you did an excellent job unboxing and assembly.

It's nice to have the matching stand. I'm going to grab one for my ts1144 if I see one on sale, just for the portability factor. Nice review.

They are Muck Boots, Artic Steel Toe. Keeps you warm in the snow.
Awesome job man! Does the stop block work pretty accurately? How short can that go?
Yes it's pretty accurate, not quite sure, maybe 2'?
Great review!
Thanks for the upload!
No problem, thanks for tuning in
GOOD JOB! KEEP IT UP!
Good job on video very helpful Thanks. Are you still happy with the stand after the 1st year of use?
Yes, it works great. I used it for all the tongue and groove pine in my building.

pssst bro ... pro tip ... put a diablo blade on that and your set !!
Ok I will try. Thanks for the tip! I know Diablo is a great brand for tools.

I Got Mind For $179.99
Cause I Wanted The One With Tooless Assembly.
Gotcha, the stand is still very handy for many purposes!
