I hope he gets the treatment he needs. Burns are dreadfully painful and the treatment so specialised. We used to do dressings and remove the dead skin in the burns operating theatre. Hands were raised and placed in sterile bags with rubber bands to stop retraction. The pain medication was quite an art form. I only spent a couple of months on the unit during my training but was quite harrowing. I am sure you could help him a lot. He needs a clean environment that he can maintain to help prevent infection. The accommodation he is living in alarmed me. Hoping you can work your magic here. Love from the UK

Good on you Wendy! It must have been tough seeing people suffer from burns. When I was 11 y o & in hospital, my bed was right next to a room where there was a huge glass window, and I could see (to my deep distress) a tiny baby suspended in the air by cords somehow, it's whole tiny body covered in severe burns either from boiling water poured over it or dropped into a bath of scalding hot water (forget which, I asked a nurse though.) The poor little thing screamed in agony when they changed its dressings and screamed in pain on and off day and night. One of the worse experiences I've had.
I agree about his accommodation he even mentioned that he hated living there since the disaster.

You have such a long way to go in your recovery..its only early days yet but hang in there.
I hope theres plenty of support for you...the hardest part is behind you but whats ahead is still crappy and so frustrating at times. ..but its obvious you have the strength to do it.
Sergei I am not aware of what summers are like there...summer in Australia is terrible but people are different how they adjust to their part of the world....however the thing this man NEEDS...Is an air conditioner..I cant remember which type but he most likely has no sweat glands.
My sister was burnt to 75% of her body...summer is absolute hell for them permanently

I am so sad that he wasnt recognised by his City, for saving a girl's life in that fire. Without his help, the girl would have been burnt n died in that fire. How could the medical authorities not give him the urgent treatment he needs?
Sergei, pse do a follow up on his case. lts so sad to see him in pain n may lose his leg from the rotting flesh on his right knee. I will pray to JESUS✝️ n Mother Mary/Theotokos, daily for him for his miracle healing.🙏🙏🙏, he certainly deserves better treatment n care.🙏✝️

I think maybe this man helps more people than he might realize. Through this video and in his daily life. The stillness he exudes. How much awareness he spreads. Courage, care, sacrifice, teaching people what’s important in life, perseverance, handling adversity, depth of experience. Much value and power there.
There’s more to helping or doing for others than just the physical. How we can get caught up in petty things. What a service he did and continues to do. More potential, more voltage in a second than some may know in their life.

So glad he is alive. Yes, Jesus died for this man and already paid for his (and our) sins so he can be forgiven and enter into a close, loving relationship with Him.
On a different note: I'm shocked at those nurses who ripped dry bandages off his burns wounds!!! No local anesthetic and no water to soften the bandages!! How could they not know! And to tell the specialist, "Oh we thought we could handle it ourselves!" Yeah, great job! Not!
So glad he got specialist help.
    I'll pray for Sergei.
What a handsome man he was when younger!
God loves him very much no matter his looks.
And for 83% burns I must say, he looks pretty good.
    Prayers about his upcoming operations.

What a wonderful man. He will be in my prayers. I had a job one time as a sales agent for a security firm. The training to sell the fire monitor was awful. We were to show a video to potential buyers of a small baby in a crib where there was a fire in the home. I got up during this video and left never went back.
