    Did you leave the tag on the Torque driver so you take it back to the store? ;) Great work thanks from Australia.

      No, more as I was a lazy fuck not to remove it.
      Bought it though when I was working on the other headlight a few months earlier, and found out that I needed a special torque driver to remove the headlight.

      @@guitigefilmpjes On our Volvo D4 there are 2 torque bolts on each headlight different size. Go Figure...

    Can't get the long rod out on either side. It won't unlock, don't know if I should apply force with tweezers or if I'm doing something wrong

    hello. I don't know how to remove the bulb. just that step of the video you have not put. Could you help me? I see everything else correctly. But I don't know if I have to push up, or to the side, just the bulb or the assembly... it seems that I'm going to break it. Thank you

    • @guitigefilmpjes
      @guitigefilmpjes  2 роки тому

      It is exactly the part were I had to put down the camera. If the bulb is still attached to the headlight unit, have you tried turning the assembly clock or counterclock wise?

    The only thing that sucks on Volvos are bulb replacements cuz you have to take off the whole thing. I own and love the car but that part sucks.

    All good until you skipped the part that removes the bulb. Can't het the thing out...

    • @otoolepw
      @otoolepw 2 роки тому +2

      Indeed he skipped the most important part. The bulb is held in at 3 sides at the bottom, one part of the bulb bottom edge slides under the bulb housing, the other two clip into place. However, it’s not clear how you’re to remove the bulb, but gently pressing / pushing back those two clipped in housing fittings appears to release it (did for me after a while). I was warned not to force the removal as sensors exist to detect incorrect light / bulb position if you force it too much.
