thank god im not the only one noticed that hes on a dyno or on jacks because he spent all his money on the car he can afford the dyno. any car can get up to that speed; unless you have a limiter. besides that its a good video; not many people show the inside of the car which is what most people want to see after the outside
The gears can be re geared to hit higher speeds, which won't damage the gearbox. And no it won't struggle. There's even a video fo a Golf with 700 HP (TT) and you can see it does clearly not struggle after 270 kmh.

@chevycamaro2174 I don't think any clutch would be able to handle the amount of torque that the engine produces. Especially since it's the most powerful naturally aspirated engine ever i think. The clutch would either wear out, slip a lot, burn or the driver themselves would find it incredibly hard to drive everyday.

No you don't understand. You can gear out a Golf 6 to hit 400 km/h, you just need the power to get there and since dyno eliminates air resistance you could get to 340 km/h with a golf without any problems, but what would be the point? :) Also, there are many Golf pro turbos with 500-600 HP which already hit 300-320 km/h. I would KINDLY suggest you to understand me, if not do some research.

Guys it's a GEARBOX test not a road acceleration.
The reason the RPM's are not constant is because it's changing gears... you can see the gear he is at in the middle of the dash! =)
