this is IMPORTANT
Dakar have hit me with a copyright strike
They had some videos removed
so ive had to delist other videos just in case.
i guess they got pissed that mine were better than theirs.
Because of the MOTOGP one before xmas that means im really vulnerable now
the channel could be removed at any time
I have set up a backup channel called bareboones backup and will link it in the description
so please go and follow it NOW,
this channel could all be removed at any moment
so it is critical to stay in touch via the backup channel now

Sorry for this, if i get another strike it wipes out all my work.
The channel will just be deleted and All my old videos will be lost.
I wont be posting anything much on here now until April when the strikes are over.

I will look at the possibility of hosting outside youtube and if i can sort it fairly easily i may do that so the videos can remain up on the website regardless of what youtube says, i am working on solutions be assured, i dont take things lying down, i will fight on

UA-cam and it's money grubbing algorithms and copyrights is out of control. It takes down perfectly good wonderful channels like yours with no apologies. yep, being honest, even BSB has gotten a bit predictable now, i watch certain riders in different series, but racing just isnt what it once was anymore. sorry to say it, but even the TT has lost its edge to me over recent years. and with all the issues getting (or not getting should i say) insurance for the Irish Road Racing season last year it isnt looking good

Damn! You provide information about motorcycle history plus current events and new bikes coming out like no other channel, you even PROMOTE their event, are supplied video by teams so WTF is their problem? You're not taking anything away from them, you're reviving interest if anything!
You've put a lot of hard work into building your 24,400 subscriber base and these whiny, greedy, short sighted scum do this! Well, I guarantee I won't be looking ANYWHERE else for information about their event except on your channel, if you can't show it, the event isn't even happening as far as I'm concerned.
So sorry this is, or may happen, you're the only motorcycle channel I find worth subscribing to. And yep, subbed to your backup now in case.

Yeah, that's the worst part about this sort of rubbish, trying to rebuild a subscriber base over again. There's always some that subscribe but don't watch very often so if this channel does go, they may take a long time, if ever to discover it's gone. I just really hope they don't take this one down, it's way too much hard work you've put in to suddenly pull the plug on you without an extremely good reason. Sadly though, this is UT and they are pretty much entirely run by bots, not real people for the most part.
Oh, and Happy Birthday, try not to let these creatures or YTs emotionless, senseless bots spoil it too much for you.
If it's riders, or a team that's been supplying you with the bits of video and it's THEIR video, how da fug can the Dakar mob complain FFS? It stinks to hell but hopefully this channel survives this silliness.
@@lorditsprobingtime6668 honestly, it could be as simple as the logo i used on the thumbnails, i have no idea, and there is no way to engage them, ill get there, just all taken me back a bit, not at all what i needed just now. ive got other stuff to think about
@@barebonesmc Fair enough. This world these days just love to sue, complain or act violently to damn near anything! This is one of those scenarios where for the cheap thrills of flexing their muscles is more important than the fact you're generating more interest in that race than there's been for many years, and doing them absolutely no harm of any sort.

Shame. But yep the content was better than theirs🫠 Thank you very much for covering the dakar, I really appreciated it! It's so hard to follow allong, and you did an amazing job. Pity this world is so stringent on sharing stuff, most of the footage was supplied by good people so I'm curious what they found to strike it, maybe just dakar coverage period? If so, it's the main reason I barely follow any professional sports nowadays, soccer, races, ect. Happy birthday and thanks🍻
