Personally as a Muslim myself, I don't think she should be allowed back here. Her lawyer is there to represent her so is going to feel that way but she decided to leave and begin a new life there so she should accept the repercussions for it. Islam strictly instructs all Muslims to obey the laws of your land and leaving when she knew clearly what was going to ensue, is something she should've expected.
