I was in charge of tuning the first demo for Iku's V4 bank. The release date will be announced on StudioS's site next month! I'm so happy Iku got an upgrade since using her original voice was really hard. Plus she's understandable now! Also she comes with like 200 breaths??? I guess they just brought them over from her original voice. I'm surprised that they honestly made her V4 because of her history, but honestly I think she deserved it after what she's been through!

There are a LOT of vocaloids who need a v4 update so I don't know why you singled out Miriam

Because out of all the Vocaloids, V4 Piko and V4 Yuuma are probably the ones that the community wants the most. Most English vocaloids don't get V4's to where it's rather weird that Miki got one but not Piko, of course it's up to the companies in that aspect. V4 Yuuma is kinda a joke so I just thought Piko would be the most logical, since he is rather popular and you would think he would have a v4 by now.
Short Birxd : If you think about it, it's not very unreasonable that Piko wouldn't get a V4 update. He was the only VOCALOID made by his company and was not that successful. VY2V4 on the other hand, is a disappointment because YAMAHA has been creating and disturbing VOCALOID to this day. Even VY2's counterpart, VY1 got a V4 update. And VY3 and VY4 are for V4. SO WHERE IS VY2V4????

April Fools-- Acme Iku was originally a joke UTAU made exclusively for moans, so I doubt they'd make a real v4. (This sounds like one of the hack XSY patches made to XSY Utaus and Vocaloid-- probably Nemu and Iku??)
She wasn't an UTAU, she is a completely different "software" made in Flash. People started to import her wav files to UTAU.

Keep in mind their website has eroge content (R-18)
Also, Sayaka Kazuna is Iku's voice provider, her website is here www3.plala.or.jp/k-b/saya/main.htm but it hasn't been updated since December 19, 2016.

That's an interesting one. Listened to it several times to figure out if she was converted to VCV, I have a guess from where breaths could come, since lots of her records have them. Even if her CV was converted to VCV I still can't get what did you do make her sound less distorted. Great job
Kyaami has stated this is real on her Twitter. Plus, I believe if it WAS a joke, it would have been posted on April 1st in Japan, but it's currently April 2nd in Japan, so I believe this is real. There's NO WAY she could've gotten UTAU Iku to sound that smooth unless she had someone who sounds like Iku record in a clearer voice, but I highly doubt that's the case, this sounds too authentic.
A-ha, and it's just day time, 1st April in America. The perfect time for youtube to start flooding with 1st April joke videos, exactly what is happening right now with my subscription list. This can't be real, Yamaha won't allow a vocaloid character, whos name means sexual moans. Though, I didn't think about Kyaami actually finding some one who can sound like Iku, or maybe even contacted her original voice provider... Who knows, maybe this joke will result Iku getting an actual UTAU voicebank
I would guess that she probably used a pre-existing vocaloid(s) or Utau banks and mixed them them in post to make them sound like Iku. This has been done before and also its April 1st here in America where she's from

Yeah, you're right about Yamaha turning down a sexual character like Iku. Hopefully if this IS a joke the UTAU bank will be released because it sounds SO good. I would've said she contacted the voice provider btw, but I didn't think she would've responded tbh, so I kinda ruled it out, but it's not impossible!

She's kind off meant for hentai noises and stuff, but there's some pretty nice metal songs out there using her voicebank. I'd suggest you check out Slashmaid (you should still use headphones tho)
