I seem to remember watching this in the 1980s, wish I could get a copy. I assume it was never released to VHS and sadly fallen into obscurity. I am sure someone has it somewhere in this world, if only it would be uploaded
I am going crazy trying to find this movie. EVERY OTHER Gary Coleman TV-movie is widely available! And I SWEAR I saw part of this as a kid, some bit where Coleman is on top of a narrow building and the fire department is trying to get him down. If anyone has this, please digitize and let me know! Also having trouble finding the Jaleel White Special from 1992. Offbeat projects from Black child stars are strangely rare, it seems.
I wish I can find this movie on UA-cam! I can vaguely remember bits and pieces of it when I had seen it one time on the Cinema 7 movie show on WXYZ channel 7.
Someone out there has it recorded off the TV. My tapes still played, but I don't have a VCR anymore. But 1985 we had a VCR and recorded lots of stuff. So there are people out there with this recorded. Nothing is ever completely "gone" from existence in the entertainment realm. I've watched the first Russian animated skits from the early 1900's for crying out loud!!! This film is available still, somewhere. It just was never released on DVD but I think some network did have the rights because that's how I watched it. I didn't see it the night it came out. My family caught it I think one afternoon. It was maybe a few years after it had been originally aired. I vaguely remember Gary's Character taking a lighter to his mother's paycheck! Very sinister. What creeps me out is that I learned in my adulthood that both of my brothers who didn't grow up together, had tendencies towards lighting fires. My older one caused a fire in our house but it luckily didn't cause damage at all, and he got in trouble at school for a fire, I think he got kicked out for a while. The younger one got in trouble at school, it was fire related. He had to attend a private school after that. They both seem to have outgrown their fascination with fire, but some firebugs develop far more dangerous & malicious tendencies, becoming arsonists and killing people. Thank God they aren't like that anymore, but I always feared having a son. I thought I would take him to the children's burn hospital unit, and show him what happens from a very young age. I believe this illness is genetic and runs in the blood. My younger brother was decades younger than my older one and never knew this about our older brother. That tells me it is a genetic disorder, a real psychological illness that is inherited. A lot of people find this movie to be funny, but I don't. Maybe they should have had a more serious actor play the part, to get the message across in a more effective manner. I remember it being a captivating movie though, kept you watching because the kid was deviant & disturbed.
Because maybe at least a recording of the movie is harder to come by. This was made for television and those are made by smaller production companies and tend to be of lower budgets and poorer quality.
An unintentionally-hilarious made-for-tv movie starring a not-so-young Gary Coleman 🤣 The look on Coleman's face when he started the closet fire 🤣😆💀

It depends on the production companies that made them and owns the rights to them and whether they were ever recorded by someone and uploaded.

Can you make the full movie
R.I.P Cicely and Gary
This should've netted Gary an Emmy!
He wasn’t very good in it. He clearly has no dramatic range.

Where can I watch the full movie
I just found out that the move is lost. Never released on DVD and won't be seen on tv again.
@@judychang8760 It depends what you consider "lost", in the public realm, yes maybe, but the Network have a copy in the archives.
