As for the status effects, you get the Over Heat effect if equipped long enough and there is less time before it atctivates as the number of items increases. There is also a small but noticeable decrease in movement speed.
Tip for anyone trying this out: always remember that videos are horizontally flipped, meaning that he's actually pinching the right side of the shirt and not the left like in appears in the vid. I'm speaking from experience: when I first tried this out, the t-shirt would always end up with the front facing side inwards. That's when I realized it
