Another tip if you’re really out to optimize space, could be to leave underwear in the pants and then just fold the pants! Then you already have outfits preorganized, too!
These packing tricks are amazing. No smoke and mirrors - they work exactly as demonstrated. Definately worth the tiny bit of time it takes to perfect the technique. Highly recommended.
I used to fold my socks this way for the drawer at home and found that the elastic became overstretched. I would imagine the same thing would happen with other things that have elastic bands… sweatshirt, underwear, etc. I’m not a fan of worn out elastic. 😮
I’m not sure which video it was in, but I want to thank you soooo much for mentioning Goodr sunglasses. I love the styles; how they fit your nose; how they fit when you’re sweating and how they make the world look brighter when wearing them.
I literally found your video today to pack back home from NC and might I say. I am extremely happy I did. Thank you for this easy technique I feel like a pro packer in 3 mins
I love your videos you have helped me pack smart each trip. This is the first time I packed my knapsack and it's not heavy. The one thing I tip I would like to add placing my toiletry bag in the middle of the close takes up less space and bulk too. Thanks again
Woww fantastic I was looking on how to help my son learn how to pack because he works for a trucking company and he packs and unpacks and sometimes takes more then he really needs so this is perfect 👍
Thanks for watching! And to answer your questions, really fancy dress clothes are hard to fold with this technique. But you should be able to execute it for most of your stuff and then just lay the dress clothes on top of your suitcase!
I use the ranger roll and love it. I struggle with shorts though, it never seems to work well for me so I just roll them normally. Do you use packing cubes too?
I fold my jeans in half, so both legs are together, then create a pocket to unroll a portion at the knee of one leg and once fully rolled I cover the roll with the knee portion, essentially leaving the knee portion sticking out like a "T" of the pre rolled pair of jeans.
How The British Army and Colonial Administrators Moved in the Days of The Empire -- traditional clothes had no stretch in the fabric, so the final tuck is skipped -- works for mens' suit jackets and slacks, dress shirts, also 20th C. clothes still being made like Levi's 501, Dickies, Red Kap collared shirts...
What material is your laundry bag? Would you turn it inside out and wash it too simce it will be holding dirty laundry? Do you ever take laundry detergent sheets, and or fabric softener sheets with you on longer trips? Bounce sheets in shoes and generally suitcase can keep your suitcase smelling decent.
I believe it is some sort of polyester cotton combo. To answer your question I do wash the laundry bag as well. I usually just but laundry detergent when I get to my destination, so i dont have to travel with it! Thanks for watching❤️
What i am missing is putting outfits together. Like while you roll up your shirt... you could have put underwear and socks in it too.. in the dark u always got the essentials
Dress shirts and dress clothes can be hard to pack with this technique. But you should be able to use in for all your other clothes! thanks for watching❤️
I don't think this is as effective as the guy makes out. If you added all the size of the clothes together and packed it flat the outcome would be the same due to the size irrespective of folds. You would have had something flat vs something thicker. I disagree with this video.
Anyone else watching this as they attempt to pack their suitcase the day before flying out? 🤣
right here lmao💀💀
Straight up
A week before 😂
Meee 😂😂
Hell yeah 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes, I’m flying out with more stuff than I had when I flew in-!! Great tips!
thanks for watching!❤️

Great folding tip. I just used this to fold my clothes for an upcoming trip and it saved room in my bag. Thanks.

Thank you. I will try this for items without elastic, like a jersey fabric dress or top.

Just finished watching; it’s a great video, very helpful. He explains it very well. Appreciate you.
Doing this last minute before flying out in 19 hours 😆

Every time I am going to travel, I look at this video. This technique works and I can pack so much.
HOw about a suit jacket? A dress? A men's or ladies' suit? A dress shirt?
It is a good method for sure. And a great tip about laundry.
Thanks for watching! And to answer your questions, really fancy dress clothes are hard to fold with this technique. But you should be able to execute it for most of your stuff and then just lay the dress clothes on top of your suitcase!
for a suitjacket, 1 shoulder goes inside the other; roll from the bottom
“ Not sure why I said it like that” 😂😂 hahaha
Yes leaving in the morning. Well getting ready to try this
Good advice on how to fold clothes for travel.
Thank you so much. This was great help❤
Thanks! This was a great tutorial for my trip to Africa!
Won’t clothes get wrinkled with the ranger roll technique?
Yes, hang them in the bathroom with the hot water running for a few minutes to remove wrinkles
It is not as bad as you would think, but yes this is not a wrinkle free fold! Great for saving space though! Thanks for watching ❤️
I'm trying this out next trip
I use the ranger roll and love it. I struggle with shorts though, it never seems to work well for me so I just roll them normally. Do you use packing cubes too?
Do they wrinkle less compared to regular fold or compression bags etc?
Yeah that’s what I need to know
I fold my jeans in half, so both legs are together, then create a pocket to unroll a portion at the knee of one leg and once fully rolled I cover the roll with the knee portion, essentially leaving the knee portion sticking out like a "T" of the pre rolled pair of jeans.
Thanks for the tips, Ian, I'll be using these in my next trip!
Thanks for watching! I am glad they were helpful. ❤️

Absolute lifesaver
This was such a good tutorial to stumble into! I was panicking because this was 16hrs before my trip lol.
Hello, in the ranger roll method, doesn't the hemline of the t-shirt get looser? or does that depend on how long you keep them packed?
My husband’s jeans are much thicker than those so don’t really work so well. Any suggestions?
Great tips, love this method too!
Thanks so much! Thanks for watching❤️❤️❤️
Thank you I leaned a lot ❤
If you just threw these rolls in a big ziploc bag and squeezed all the air out, you’d save even more space
Does anyone have any input on the wrinkles with this fold method? I'm also trying to find the best fold that has the lowest amount of wrinkles
😊😊😊😊 very helpful! Thanks
Really awesome tips, it was incredibly helpful! "BIG daddy" cracked me up 😂👍

Compared to the ranger roll, the pocket method of folding is quite easy to do and also saves almost an equal amount of space.

What i am missing is putting outfits together. Like while you roll up your shirt... you could have put underwear and socks in it too.. in the dark u always got the essentials
Won’t the crease be there and be wrinkled when you unroll?
It is actually not as bad as you would think but yes this is not a wrinkle free fold! But it is great for saving space! ❤️ thanks for watching
How do you pack a dress shirt?
Dress shirts and dress clothes can be hard to pack with this technique. But you should be able to use in for all your other clothes! thanks for watching❤️
What about shirt?
Correction: grunt roll
What about dress shirts 😂
How to fold my flip flops 🙃😂
Dont forget to wash the laundry bag. It gets dirty from dirty clothes.
Dude got offended by his own sweat.
Folding plus size tank tops and other plus size clothes
What’s the point of folding it why not just leave it all flat like you do your dirty laundry? 🤣
All wrinkled clothes are saying big Helloooo
I don't think this is as effective as the guy makes out.
