Yeah, this was off thier 2nd album. Back when they had some rap influences. Back in the mid-late 90s, when I was still high school. Almost never see them perform this song. It's been one of my favorite songs.

deftones is amaizing even now =) chino is one of the best singers ever ¬¬ and jonhatan too =) you cant stay for ever in the past dude =) just evol with the music =)
i remember when i used to think that deftones and korn were on the same page talent wise but after the last couple years, deftones are soooo much better musically, lyrically, and live.
I'm not with you. The parameters are really different. Each band evolved opening new ways and both are meritorious with their work. They're fucking great for eternity... Like tool, machine head, incubus, And many others
Not true in my opinion. I saw Deftones at the stone pony in jersey a few days ago and they f*ckin killledd it. I saw Korn right before the pandemic and they also f*ckin killled it. You can't really compare the 2. They're both absolutely amazing but Korn had a longer set list and played almost every song from their first album even Ball Tongue. Imagine being in a pit when Ball Tongue is being played right infront of you. It was amazing. They both are.
@SippinonMickeys That's when I wanted to be a Navy SEAL don't want to be one now. And the reason I like the older stuff more is cause he does more rap vocals doesn't mean that they don't put out great shit they do I just miss it. Check out this interview with munky on ultimateguitar search korn interview click on Korn: 'It's Time To Move On Musically And Creatively' Munky talks about the new record so you could understand alittle bit why they decided to put out the record that they did.
Shit I went to this concert! Cox Arena at San Diego State. It was the first time I saw Korn at a large venue instead of small clubs like Soma and realized..fuck they really made it big. It sucked not being on the floor and having to be in a stupid seat.
Yes alternative/metal does exist and so does reggea/metal and Electro/metal Example of reggea and some Electro metal I know about are. Skindred and Blood Stained Child.
Dubstep has been out a while, yes, but hasn't been in the masses face until about a year ago. It's in commercials EVERY where. Their last album was produced by Ross Robinson, who did their FIRST album. The albums before, atticus ross/The matrix. Not dubstep artists, they worked with NIN. KoRn is just lost since they lost head, and are trying every shoe until one fits
@alisonn004 Korn and Deftones actually aren't friends anymore, this is Korn's old stuff, which was good, also, many Korn fans think Deftones is better anyways. You wouldn't know good music if it hit you in the face
They started at the same time in L.A if u read fieldys book he talks about how they would get fucked up together and record but still two different styles but ima go with deftones
@BassplayerMurtha. Also no offense it doesn't matter how many records are sold. After all there pleanty of bands that are trash and sell a lot of records. Its a matter of opinyin not sales dig?
KoRn and dubstep sound more like KoRn does on their last few albums. I was actually fuckin' impressed how it worked. I wasn't favoring the genre. But hearing Jon's voice over it. Cool.
Their Path of Totality album isn't that bad, I understand if you don't like it, but it's not like the worst thing, besides they wanted to experiment, and so they did. And yes Deftones are amazing ^^
@BassplayerMurtha Unlike KoRn, deftones has not put out one crappy record! Just sayin'... either way, Both these bands together make bad ass music! We should appreciate both Deftones and KoRn. They both still kick ass live!!
@jonnoel0 how can they be sell-outs? Why don't you define that word? What is a sell-out? When a band goes extremely famour or mainstream? Well Deftones White Pony and Deftones album are extremely mainstream and what about bands like AC/DC they are Gods of rock supposedly and they are never considered sell-outs :/
Lestat rodimus seems to know a lot about what it's like to be in a band, or maybe he's just butthurt that his favorite band changed a little bit and he's not open minded enough to like anything that doesn't sound like that one specific style that they had in their early years.
When did I say I wanted the same album? I said, I didn't want them to jump on a trendy band wagon. Try again little man, been listening to Korn since 94.
@BassplayerMurtha no offense, but that means jack shit. Justin Beiber has gone platinum several times over. It doesn't make him unique and groundbreaking, it makes him palpable and marketable, just as Korn.
I can't believe people don't know this is off Life is Peachy...which I think came out sometime like 1997...So it was way before "Dubstep KoRn"
Wicked came off life is peachy 1996
Gameboy 666
Well I was only off by a year and had the album right
I know,I was just correcting a little, don't take it bad lol

@@mikeO31082 prolly cause it says the n word… plus nobody to sing the verse for him.
Both these bands mean so much to me. So good to see them both live on the same stage!
Chino looks and sounds like a fuckin' professional rapper on this.. you'd never think he was lead singer of the great Deftones!!!
Except you should, because all numetal singers rap.
@@AscheDjidoi not all. Nu metal is a pile of influences that extend to a lot of genres. Not just hip hop.

No i was suprised to hear that word because i havent heard it in years. not since i was in the 6th grade
The moment in time - Korn going donwards from then on, Chino and Deftones growin way up.
KoЯn have been getting better and better since Head came back.

korn just ROCKS!!!! AND IM ALSO A MAGGOT FOR LIFE.
this SHIT is uhmmm... amazing
i remember when i used to think that deftones and korn were on the same page talent wise but after the last couple years, deftones are soooo much better musically, lyrically, and live.
1jaredjacobs i’m not that sure about live performance but the rest i agree

There once was a time where each held thier own but unfortunately times have changed and music just isn't what it once was.
@SippinonMickeys Deftones older stuff is WAY better than their newer stuff.
No one is telling you NOT to like it. Sooooo.....yeah. Like it all you want little person, us old schoolers, don't, get over it.
korn won 2 Grammies, one for freak on a leash in 99 and another for Here to stay in 03 or 02
They started at the same time in L.A if u read fieldys book he talks about how they would get fucked up together and record but still two different styles but ima go with deftones

I Think that they play the song a little bit faster
You don’t see this now day
DEFTONES
@melodicdestruction Me NEITHER. Deftones are always cooler 4 me. Peace***
@tonyAJ420 he dropped off during the tour
@Deffanatic420 Anything kills Korny nowadays
I wonder how Ice Cube felt about them doing his song cause he was on this tour
yeah i realised that afterwords, i was pretty ripped when i wrote that lol. not that you care but whatever..
yeah but everything deftones play is really neat and organized. korn is just wierd metal
Their Path of Totality album isn't that bad, I understand if you don't like it, but it's not like the worst thing, besides they wanted to experiment, and so they did.

korn is making the dubstep crap work with the metal it actualy sounds good

Deftones pure amazing but i like the ice cube and jon davis wicked better, mainly because its ice cubes song. this still blows the roof offf aha
lolz there is one Korn song about that that's like saying you can only sing about your own summer for so long it doesn't make sense just stupid.
there alt rock, no?
so why not alt metal?
DID YOU SAY WANKSTAS?? wow guy... lol

Ice Cube owns this song lol....Love Deftones and KoRn, but you gotta give credit where credit is due.
7 people who don't like were the neighborhoods
u spelled korn wrong
@SippinonMickeys
I'm an idiot for thinking korn sucks now because they are hopping on trends to be relevant? Its a sad world now isn't it
When did I say I wanted the same album? I said, I didn't want them to jump on a trendy band wagon. Try again little man, been listening to Korn since 94.
deftones won for sure, chino said it best , you can only sing about hating daddy for so long
Everytime I listen to korn I think they are soo much cooler than Deftones. Then I listen to Deftones and think they are sooo much cooler than Korn.
just wonder are you mad bro?
@BassplayerMurtha no offense, but that means jack shit. Justin Beiber has gone platinum several times over. It doesn't make him unique and groundbreaking, it makes him palpable and marketable, just as Korn.
how else do u gain new fans then, sometimes u gotta branch out to different genres to get ppl interested, shit ppl might like a dubstep frank senatra!
ONLY KORN MAKE DUPSTEP SOUNDS GOOD
