      That's awesome for your son! He has put in the work and it is paying off, great for him. BTW I read an article recently that stated most youtuber that make it a full time job on average only have around 4k subscribers, so might be considered "small" by larger youtubers but you know what it's the sweet spot for making a career on youtube. Congrats to him! Lives are something I am researching next because numerous people have commented that I should try them, just seems a bit stressful at the moment for me. Maybe soon... I know, it's quite high, but I guess they want to ensure that people are willing to take this seriously before they take us seriously, and thus invest in us. I'm pretty confident that if you show up consistently, there is a demand for your topic/niche and you provide value, you will get there. Your content seems highly desired actually - I just took a peak. I want to learn how to edit on my phone, but I've been designing for years on the computer, so jumping to a tiny screen and using just my thumbs seems unappealing. If I were to say my hurdle, I would feel like there wouldn't be enough control or options for me to create a video on my phone. I bet if you do a video addressing some of these issues, it could be helpful for the ones hesitant to jumping on phone editing. You could do a pros and cons episode...that would be interesting. Anyway, just trying to give some ideas...best of luck to you and thank you for watching my video! :)

      Yes, keep going! Maybe you ride the trend only once a week or once a month and then the rest of the month you post boo reviews that are more you? Not sure. Or ride the trend in categories of books that interest you. I think amazon is a great place to do reserach on that...search by category and what's most popular, but you probably already have some sort of system worked out. Just want to help in any way I can! OK good to know. How are you defining more established new channels, like a few thousand? You're seeing my content and I only have around 500 and I had even less when I published that video. I see people popping up in my channel feed with like 5 subs or 105 subs all the time. I wonder what determines it? I tend to click on super new channels to see how they are doing, so maybe that is why I am being shown them more. But very interesting - thank you for sharing! Heyy i just watch this video and it was great and cool! ❤❤ Also im focusing on racing game videos and i start the channel in 3 years ago, and when i post i got like 3,8K, 595, 3K views. But... many days later my views is dropping completely which is kinda weird tho.

    • @AlexaSaarenoja
      @AlexaSaarenoja  2 місяці тому +1

      Yes, I have also learned that they usually give a boost to small channels in the beginning to encourage and then it might taper off. I haven't experienced that yet, but I did get my first focused video hitting over 1800 views and nothing has gotten nearly close to that since, but they are much higher than they were before I started focusing on a niche hardcore. I'm not sure if you teach anything in your videos, but if you could provide tips or strategies for the games that might draw more people to watch your videos. My husband plays Call of Duty a lot and he is always doing research on youtube videos for tips and tricks. Best of luck to you that your views pick up again soon.

    I am a small and new creator with good contents but I don’t have new subscribers, views or engagement at all and it’s draining and discouraging me 😢

    • @AlexaSaarenoja
      @AlexaSaarenoja  2 місяці тому +1

      Yes, that can be so discouraging. Who is your niche? Do you have an ideal client in mind. Who would want to watch or be attracted to your folktales? Are they geared towards giving life advice to adults or children? I think your content needs to obviously provide value to others. What makes people come to you? For example maybe rewrite your titles to attract people that want to learn about something your folktales teach. So instead of saying "The Bond Turned Assunder" change it to something like "struggling to connect with your daughter" or "is your connection with your child waning?" I don't know if that relates to the story because I haven't watched it but judging from the photo. If you title the folktale for the story rather than for the audience I think it won't get as much attention because you want the audience to read it and feel involved. This is just my ideas, you of course do what you feel is best, but you could test it on your next upload and now since there is two thumbnail testing you could test one with your story title and another with a title that is attempting to solve a problem for your audience. xoxo I hope it grows and you stick with it, the stories look beautiful, full of wisdom and bold. I like it! Big hugs from Finland. :)
