@ i am saying this as a stroud/buckeyes fan: in what world is a second year qb, in the midst of a sophomore slump, a “safer” pick for the hall of fame than a guy with over 10,000 rec yards. with just two more seasons of 72 receptions or more each, diggs will have over 1,000 career receptions. the only retired, hof-eligible players with 1,000 or more career receptions that aren’t in the hall are anquan boldin, reggie wayne, steve smith sr., and hines ward. all of whom should be in. you might think stroud will one day make it and diggs won’t, but diggs is 100% a safer pick.
Could make a case of Scary Terry for Washington if he pops off the rest of his career. You can say that about any potential for rookies. As of right now yeah it’s iffy
So hard to tell with WRs, need either crazy longevity or a distinguishable peak. Guys like Ochocinco, AJ Green, Demaryius Thomas, Brandon Marshall were all ballers and all three won't make the hall anytime soon.
I think Alvin kamara should be a hall of famer when it’s all said and done. He changed the way we look at rbs. Was the best receiving back in the nfl for a while
def one of the best dual purpose backs of all time and one of my favorites too. i don’t really think he makes it though with how his resumé compares to running backs not currently in the hall (fred taylor, shaun alexander, ricky watters, etc)
@ I think if he gets to 7500 rushing yards and 65 -70 tds and 5500 receiving yards and 30 tds then he has a very good chance. Dudes a beast and has the best balance I’ve ever seen
@ i really hope he’s able to make it back this year, he’s got 950 rush yds now and is probably the best running back at least since the merger to not have a 1,000 yd rushing season, and i think that would definitely help his case. he’s such a unique talent that hof voters really won’t have too many past players to compare him with (maybe faulk? in which case he would probably need quite a ways to go)
@ I was looking forward to him getting his 1000 yards this season, and I do think he’ll get it, but honestly I thought he’d have around 1300 rushing yards if he plotted rest of the season and like 700 receiving yards. 2k yards would be a great thing to add to his career
@ i totally agree. if he doesn’t have a 1,000 yd rushing season when he hangs it up and doesn’t make the hall of fame i think that would be one of the things voters would point to as reason for leaving him out.
I'll say this. Antonio Gates had an incredible career as a TE who played basketball in college and then became an NFL TE. He has the most TDs by a TE all time and he got snubbed last year. Bowers regardless how good he is wont be a first ballot as the voters only first ballot RBs, QBs and Defensive players it seems.
Joel Bitonio not getting a mention is sad, because he’s been one of this generation’s best guards and I feel very confident that he’s getting into the hall of fame at some point. Nick Chubb was on that path, but the injury ended that chance sadly.
Chiefs: 1) Andy Reid..2) Patrick Mahomes 3) Travis Kelce 4) Chris Jones 5) Joe Thuney ( Chiefs/Patriots) 6) Deandre Hopkins 7) Creed Humphrey..and perhaps someday Harrison Butker and Trey Smith.
I would have gone with Justin Simmons for the Falcons. I don’t actually think he will get into the hall, but he has a better resume than his teammates.
Mahomes was the wrong choice. It should’ve been Travis Kelce. Both are going to make it but since Kelce is older, there’s less of a chance for some bad press (steroids, betting) stopping him from the hall. Again, that won’t happen since both are great role models, but statistically speaking, age matters here.
Myles has never been overshadowed in discussions vs TJ. People are doubting how good TJ is in order to make an argument against TJ. They had to go out and create a brand new stat (PRWR) in order for Myles’ numbers to mean anything
Mike Evans is 24th in all time receiving yards, 9th in all time receiving TDs (one of only 12 players to ever break 100 receiving TDs),36th in all time receptions, has 10 consecutive 1,000 yard years (tied with Moss and only trailing Rice), won a Super Bowl ring, and still has a couple years to go. Look at any category and see he’s surrounded by HOFers. It would be an absolute travesty if he doesn’t make it.
As a niners fan I’d say Trent is a lock for sure. One of the best O lineman at all time and near the end of his career. No time for the narrative to get rewritten
trent and kittle right now are 1 ballot Hof players. Kittle is a better all around tight end than kelcy real football people know this kittle is better after the catch and a much better blocker kelcy is a better route runner I guess but lets be honest mahomes has been passing to him for what 7 years now
@@Stovetopanimation2 he’s not bad and i do think that his volume and longevity is commendable but his stats don’t compare well with other guys of his era, and he never made a pro bowl. i know pro bowls don’t mean much but to not have even one, or an all pro nod, or a season where he was an undisputed top 5 qb… he won’t make it.
JT is the current most likely player to make the hall next to Mahomes if they retired today. He could keep playing for 5 years at this level and still make it. Having bad season at the end of your career doesn't change your legacy, he is the greatest kicker of all time. There is no discussion.
Bro not giving it to kenny clark for the packers is crazy work, hes been one of telhe best de in the league since he got drafted and his stats are up there every year
While Patrick Mahomes is definitely on a first ballot HOF trajectory, the true lock in Kansas City is Travis Kelce who is in the twilight of a stellar career. His NFL leading post-season accomplishments alone in the tight end position no less leaves no room for doubt.
@matthewwilliams4168 How is this relevant? Travis has had an indisputable 12 year HOF career, including pro bowl and all-pro selections before Mahomes. While the Superbowls came with Mahomes, individual success spanned his entire career.
Been looking at the Seahawks and I don't love DK. best I've found might be Jason Myers, who's been pretty good. Just found a pretty much lock. Jason Peters is on their practice squad. the 41 year old with 9 pro bowls 2 first team AP's and 4 second team's in his 20 year career. Undrafted free agent in the 2004 season. for the lions, whew. ZaDarious Smith has a few pro bowls but he's already 32, But the guy I keep going back to is Amon Ra St Brown. He's only 25 but in 4 years he's got 2 pro bowls, 3 1000+ yard seasons (including this one) and last year was first team all pro with 119 catches and 1515 yards.
Saints Demario Davis deserves an honorable mention, and Texans got to go between, Diggs, Tunsil or Hunter. Vikings, Smith and Gilmore have a really solid shot. Lions, Sewell or Ragnow are going to be serious contenders
Putting Justin Tucker over Henry is literally insane dude, dude is knocking on the door of 2,000 yards for the SECOND time in his career and he's 30 years old...
as a ravens fan honestly JT LJ and henry all locks and honestly prolly all 1st ballot. Henry is the most dominant rb in this new passing forward style league. and Lamar should be a first ballot just because of his storyline and how hes evolved the position in a curry kind of way. And JT is obv a top 3 kicker at least even with this struggling year.
Could’ve been mentioned, but Lane Johnson is the best lock for it. He’s been one of the top 3 players on the team every year for the past decade. The Eagles’ win-loss records with him in the lineup and out of the lineup are night and day.
I agree that JJ is a lock for the Vikings, unless he drastically falls off. However, how could you possibly not mention Harry, "The Hitman" Smith instead. Especially since this is most likely his last year, and JJ could still fall off? Remember, we do not know the future. If JJ gets hurt and his career ends, his current numbers will not be enough to carry him to get him into the Hall.
Sweet video. I think for the Cardinals I would lean Trey McBride! As long as he catches a good amount of TDs going forward he should be a top tight end!

Bro, your shit's *good*. You've earned a subscriber.
21:14 mark my words, Trey benson bouta make the hall of fame
Lavonte David needed to be mentioned when talking about the Bucs he has the same career as Bobby Wagner just less popular with fans
LOL, you must have known Lions fans are willing to sit to the end for this. Made us wait all the way to the end.
Where can i Buy that Nfl record desk thing in your background??
would like to know that aswell
I'll say this. Antonio Gates had an incredible career as a TE who played basketball in college and then became an NFL TE. He has the most TDs by a TE all time and he got snubbed last year. Bowers regardless how good he is wont be a first ballot as the voters only first ballot RBs, QBs and Defensive players it seems.
NHL is also a major league, it’s not just 3, but NFL HoF is hard between for sure and not at all.
how could you not even mention Jaylon Johnson for the bears??? crazy.
Joel Bitonio not getting a mention is sad, because he’s been one of this generation’s best guards and I feel very confident that he’s getting into the hall of fame at some point. Nick Chubb was on that path, but the injury ended that chance sadly.
Mike Evans is a lock. Absolutely thrilled he is a Buc and I can watch him weekly. Hes spectacular. Not just as a player, but human.
You got me with the Watson one... that was funny
For the chargers, Herbert, Mack, Bosa and James are probably going to be HOF and with the way Ladd playing he probably will too and both the tackles
Chiefs:
1) Andy Reid..2) Patrick Mahomes 3) Travis Kelce 4) Chris Jones 5) Joe Thuney ( Chiefs/Patriots) 6) Deandre Hopkins 7) Creed Humphrey..and perhaps someday Harrison Butker and Trey Smith.
I would have gone with Justin Simmons for the Falcons. I don’t actually think he will get into the hall, but he has a better resume than his teammates.
I would have chosen Christian Gonzalez, who is having a great season for N E, over Maye who just shows possible potential.
And the swiftie lol jk but yes both will make it
Glad someone else see's this issue with his logic on the first pick
I believe Eddie Pineiro now leads the NFL in field goal percentage with his being over 90%
Myles has never been overshadowed in discussions vs TJ.
People are doubting how good TJ is in order to make an argument against TJ.
They had to go out and create a brand new stat (PRWR) in order for Myles’ numbers to mean anything
Zack Martin for the cowboys (written at 8:50) before you got to the cowboys 9 PB, 7 AP first team, 2 AP second teams 2nd in Offensive RoY
Kittle is a better all around tight end than kelcy real football people know this kittle is better after the catch and a much better blocker kelcy is a better route runner I guess but lets be honest mahomes has been passing to him for what 7 years now
For the colts it could be Joe Flacco
Yea😂
flacco is not making it
@ I mean he isn’t bad he has a Super Bowl he also had over 40,000 yards and over 200 tds
I'd say Harrison Smith is a close second to jettas
JT is the current most likely player to make the hall next to Mahomes if they retired today. He could keep playing for 5 years at this level and still make it. Having bad season at the end of your career doesn't change your legacy, he is the greatest kicker of all time. There is no discussion.
11:41 I think you mean JJ Watt 😂
Bro not giving it to kenny clark for the packers is crazy work, hes been one of telhe best de in the league since he got drafted and his stats are up there every year
As an Eagles fan, my pick is also Lane Johnson. And probably Jalen Carter
Talking about if Lamar gets another MVP or a Super Bowl MVP would help him a ton like Lamar's isn't a 100% lock to make to HOF already, SMH.
Mike Evans is a hall of fame lock. Especially with the caliber of qb he’s had
Mahomes could’ve retired the day after the second ring and been a first ballot hall of famer
I saw that display thing behind you that showed the scores of recent games, what product is that? I thought it was pretty cool.
Basketball slander is wild
The Vikings have 3 first ballot hall of famers on the roster right now. Jefferson, Gilmore, and Smith.
Texans I think laremy Tunsil is actually the most likely hall of famer
While Patrick Mahomes is definitely on a first ballot HOF trajectory, the true lock in Kansas City is Travis Kelce who is in the twilight of a stellar career. His NFL leading post-season accomplishments alone in the tight end position no less leaves no room for doubt.
Travis kelce didn't have any rings before mahomes
TJ Watt even if his career ends today, he’s a 1st ballot hall of famer.
Lane Johnson was holding all game against TJ, wtf are you talking about
It'd be interesting to check on this video in 10 years. Would be wild if you went 32 for 32... especially with the punter, lol.
There are punters worthy of the HOF. They just don't make it because of their position.
@ChiSportsNut18 I am glad Ray Guy finally got in. He deserved it forever.
@@ersatz_cats He sure did!
Putting Justin Tucker over Henry is literally insane dude, dude is knocking on the door of 2,000 yards for the SECOND time in his career and he's 30 years old...
tucker is fs more of a lock- henry is great but tucker is literally the goat of his position
@@benhamilton3671 nope, its still Vinatieri, Tucker is up there but Vinatieri still has a more impressive resume
as a ravens fan honestly JT LJ and henry all locks and honestly prolly all 1st ballot. Henry is the most dominant rb in this new passing forward style league. and Lamar should be a first ballot just because of his storyline and how hes evolved the position in a curry kind of way. And JT is obv a top 3 kicker at least even with this struggling year.
Not even a Brandon Graham mention for the Eagles? I know he’s hurt now, but 15 great years in the league should get him in.
Could’ve been mentioned, but Lane Johnson is the best lock for it. He’s been one of the top 3 players on the team every year for the past decade. The Eagles’ win-loss records with him in the lineup and out of the lineup are night and day.
Great video
Patrick better thank the refs for being his mvp when he goes in.
CANNOT believe you mentioned Jalen Hurts in this video honestly.
Green Bay is definitely Kenny Clark with Jaire behind him
As a Giants fan, I love Malik, but he’s not even close to how amazing Dexter Lawrence is. Legit NT, and may be the best in the league at his position.
Definitely Jared Goff, Penei Sewell, Aidan Hutchinson, Amon-Ra, Jamyr Gibbs and Frank Ragnow for the Lions❤
Colts: isn’t DeForest Buckner a lock?
And for the Packers dude you gotta dry your Alexander. He’s insane.
