How to upgrade stereo multimedia on your car 1 DIN

Installing new stereo head unit on older Peugeot and Citroen cars
This particular one is Citroen C3, equipped with CLARION PU-2471A(G) radio, but this procedure is the same for most CLARION head units.
You need to check the wiring harness configuration to match the standart ISO connector of modern stereos and android multimedia.
It is very easy, just follow the diagramm.
You will need radio antena adaptor for example: vi.aliexpress.com/item/100500...
The model of the radio I used to install on this car is: SWM 7805C , it is 1 Din 4Inch Car Radio Touch Screen Bluetooth Music Handsfree MP5 Player TF USB Charging Remote Audio System ISO Head Unit 7805C.

Does the radio tuen off if u get the constant 12V from the lighter port? Bcs for example on my vw golf the lighter has power even if the car is locked so it would still pull the power

On this car the lighter port power is present only when the key is on the switch on position. It is Citroen... Your VW might have the right configuration for the ISO connection and might not need rearranging the pins. Just have to check the wiring harness diagram ;)
