That was a fun intro! I just want to say you guys have really hit a stride lately with your content, and I feel like your more comfortable and fun with everything now, which makes for stuff like this intro. Keep up the great work, and thanks for the content.
Great intro chaps, it is so nice to see Al confident in front of the camera, do you remember how shy he was in the begining, great work guys, that is a beautiful car, also lovely to see your grown up son getting involved, all the best from North Wales, UK.
That lip kit is the factory aero kit that Toyota offered. If you dont like it you can pull the lips off easily, will give you more ground clearance too now that you have lowered it. Should look at getting a Kurtz dump pipe and exhaust system so you can hear that lovely 1J sound.
this reminds me of working in the driveway with my old boy, except there was a lot more yelling and swearing. Still learnt a great deal from the old bloke and still do 12yrs later.
For one its great seeing both of you fellas finally enjoying your own cars and for another thing its weirdly heartwarming seeing Al and his young fella working together, i guess its how i imagine it is when me and my old man are spinning spanners together but yeah keep up the quality vids fellas ✌️
At first glance to the thumbnail I really thought you guys went full s124 mercedes!! The crowns look cool IMHO. Top video as usual ,lads. The light hearted genuine laughs are contagious and make the videos even better.
The 1JZ Vvti is a great engine. Mine's making 400+rwkw with amazing driveability and low down grunt. Crown wagons are just so cool. They combine the JZ goodness with a practical platform to haul stuff around in.
Woodys a little right my uncle was an engineer at Toyota in the 80s and 90s and said it was mainly so you could have the window down enough to let ciggie smoke drift out without getting wet. Some Toyotas in these generations also could come with an air filtration system as a a factory option. My 89 GTFOUR Celica has one so I had to do some research.
Seeing Woody with that straw hat made me think, Skid Factory hat bands. Tie them round your sombrero at Summer Nats or tie around your favourite Bunnings or BCF hat to cover over those brands and gain street cred.
It is just great to see someone who likes Crowns. I have a 1975 MS85 Crown. It is dead standard and I have had it for over 40 years. Yes I am a female too but I too like Crowns, regards from Laurajane
Al, the body kit is just the factory aero option, mildly rare and only really on fully optioned ones like yours. Sunroof on the Estates are also pretty rare.
I love how Australia has access to these cars (allowed to import) I see these everywhere now. Athlete, Majestas, x100, x110, Mark X, Mark X-GR. I'll get another one, lil later down the track.
Big respect from the UK stumbled across your channel as a JDM hot boy like yourselves 😂 We don't get to see any of them in the UK so enjoying the content, burn out was hilarious. Those wheels do look good on the woody and the safety flip-flop shoes are also hilarious, looking forward to the comparisons and more JDM content
Smashed it on this edit Woody, you've been dropping some seriously killer edits lately mate, I'm loving it. That intro was pure gold, worth all the time it took to film it 👌👌
Those wagons are unbelievably attractive to me. Maybe it's nostalgia but there is something about the simple late 90s wagon form that makes me drool. Especially when made into a sleeper. Ideal car for me. Jealous!
If you rub those headlights with 240 grit or 320 grit sandpaper to get rid of the faded clear coat and finish off with some 600 grit, then respray them with 2K clear coat, they'll be brand new again. Same thing for tail lights too. I don't recommend those headlight restore kits they only last 1-2 years if you're lucky.
Love the intro, it suits you both :D Also good to see the grommet putting in some work, I'm sure he owes a favour or fifty from Al & Woody helping out with his own car after all!
Comment below what we should compare between the two wagons!
Which sunroof leaks less
Skidpad
mattress compatibility
Max person capacity...
If you fluff the driver's seat do you smell musty farts and soy sauce
I think the work rims actually suit woddys car 👌
100%
I think they would look great
I agree
They need to be put on when Woody isn't looking.
Agreed, I thought WOW they look awesome
That was a fun intro! I just want to say you guys have really hit a stride lately with your content, and I feel like your more comfortable and fun with everything now, which makes for stuff like this intro. Keep up the great work, and thanks for the content.
Was a ripper intro, haha. Alot of imaginative flair gone into that bad boy, and it probably took far longer than Woody wants to admit 😅
100%
Definitely need those Work wheels on Woodies Wagon 👌🏻
Best intro ever!
Al dropping all the good comedy bits on this episode 🤣🤣
Love the fact Gus is getting more involved in skid factory 👌 another superb video lads
Amen! Making memories.
Great work, Dad 👌🏻
R33 wheels look great on everything, and the Works look good on woody's wagon actually, ngl.
The OLD Work wheels actually work on woody's crown..... i really hate to admit that but it does look good
*"They're R33 GTR wheels, which don't look good on an R33 GTR, but look good on pretty much anything else"*
No truer words were spoken, lol.
I saw a meme the other day that said the same thing and it spoke to me in a spiritual way, haha!
shame everyone wants 2k now for them lol
Crazy, cos I always thought that and wondered if anyone else thought that too!
Globally the TRUTH!!!!!!!

Wow that thing is mint for 20 years old! Love my JDM sleeper too, nobody looks at it twice until I plant the boot.
This thing is nice. Don’t lowball me
Everyone ever: I know what I got
Love the intro, really well done guys!
The works look amazing under Woody's car.
I love that you can see woodies cards in the reflection of the glasses 🤓
Yep, brilliant 👍
"Much tsu tsu tsu... Many wow" shirt please 😆👌🏻
That deadpan "Much su tu tu, many wow" had me laughing out loud in the dead quiet office like a crazy person 😁
this reminds me of working in the driveway with my old boy, except there was a lot more yelling and swearing. Still learnt a great deal from the old bloke and still do 12yrs later.
I’ve not seen that age model in a wagon before, I really like it *googling intensifies*

That cinematography doe...
Works are mint woody, bolt em up 👌🏼
And they come with free genuine Skid Factory concrete lovingly tailored by Al
At first glance to the thumbnail I really thought you guys went full s124 mercedes!! The crowns look cool IMHO.
Top video as usual ,lads.

Going strength to strength with the camera work and editing woody, mad work fellas

If only they weren't unbearably thirsty
@@MrDamburger That's true. I don't daily mine, the fuel bills would send me broke.
@@MrDamburger to be fair though, when you almost double the stock power, fuel economy isn’t really the priority. 😅

14:26 The honesty of a true friend.

yep 👍 i'd buy one!!!
It is just great to see someone who likes Crowns. I have a 1975 MS85 Crown. It is dead standard and I have had it for over 40 years. Yes I am a female too but I too like Crowns, regards from Laurajane
Further evidence that GTR wheels look great on anything except GTRs
I gotta say that I love the Crown bro, the colour is sweet and the contrasting trim is spot on.
Also the wheel swap is perfect too 👌🏻
Hell yes boys. Can never have too much Crown wagon content
man that car brings back memories from my years in Japan
"They're my lucky shades; I stole them from some lucky guy while his lucky seeing eye dog was taking a whizz"
YES! A 171W! Wanted to get one but ended up with a sedan.
Hope to see quite a number of episodes on it
Beautiful! There're soo much genius cars we miss here in Europe! Thank you for showing em👍🤩
🎵 there ain't nothing like a Crown, for boostin it up an layin rubber down 🎶
I get the feeling that Woody doesn't play cards often. The reflection of his cards would see to that. Top stuff.
33 wheels go well! The crown has gen3 liberty vibes. Looks way better now
Durries!!!
Dingsbums, something Id never plan to hear from Al. What a true man of the world!
It's one down from a unicorn Al, and that is why you have it
And long walks on the beach, when the Prado breaks down!
The probes on the fenders are for when you are parking at night so you can see where the front of the car is :)
only problem with that is the front still extends like 30cm past the markers haha, all it really does is look cool driving at night
Big fan of the jdm lingo. Funny one to watch keep up the good work boys
The varianza would look perfect on Woody's crown!
The grille on woodys wags looks like an old (1970-80s) merc
Great Car, AL's placement of mic on hat is just outstanding.
This recent love for wagons is fucking awesome!
Fantastic yet again boys Gus needs to be in more of the videos
Do the exhaust on this. I would love to see it! Those rims look good!
watching grommet learn is the best part of this
cant wait to teach mine
You can tell that Allan is the type of bloke that would forward those funny/dumb mid 2000s emails to all his friends
Al, the body kit is just the factory aero option, mildly rare and only really on fully optioned ones like yours. Sunroof on the Estates are also pretty rare.
Read wagon.
With current trends those wheels are worth 5k on the Chris' JDM page
I'll take $4500 cash.
I love how Australia has access to these cars (allowed to import) I see these everywhere now. Athlete, Majestas, x100, x110, Mark X, Mark X-GR. I'll get another one, lil later down the track.

hundo on the R33's. BBS was modeling off the S14 kouki maybe?
BOYS THAT INTRO WAS PHENOMENAL
Loving the trio, good to see the gromet getting into cars with no pressure...
The intro is 10/10 in every level.
The fibre optic isn't just a Crown thing Al, Cressy's and Mark II's have them aswell. 😎👍
I think my u13 blue bird had em
Crowns are about to up in price again 😍
Smashed it on this edit Woody, you've been dropping some seriously killer edits lately mate, I'm loving it. That intro was pure gold, worth all the time it took to film it 👌👌

The work wheels did look good on Woody's wagon 👍
your defanitly right about the wheels, the look on any car except what they were designed for.
Hands down the best episode of TSF to date! Keep up the hard work lads! 👌🏻👌🏻
If you want to disable vsc and trc completly. Unplug the brake fluid level sensor on the resovoir. Will still yell at you but won’t cut you off.
Woody's cards in his welding Gogs was the best.
If the back rides high, you just need a couple of full kegs in there to help keep the springs compressed.
Could adjust the height by drinking some of the beer until it looks right.
@@yowie0889 tried that, ended up wonky when I sobered up.
r33 wheels look great on anything
I recently imported a jzx110. They’re so much fun. Couldn’t have done better really. Trd front bar and grill
That engine is in pristine condition. Much WOW. 👌
Those wheels must go on Woody's crown!!
They don't fit, the rears are actually pretty wide. Has 255s on them.
Big sheesh on the maxpeedys, scrumptious
good to see baby Yoda back
Ive seen GTR wheels on an I30 and it worked. They can literally go on anything.
Wagon fan boy checking in.
New to merch shop... Gus's grommie-spec safety boots!
Crown Athlete ReBORN AWS210. Best looking Crown ever!
Love seeing you work with both your sons. Adopted and not

Haha Dingsbums... Haven't heard that for a long time.
These would make a sweet cruiser with a bit of go. Those 33 wheels look really good on it, they fit pretty nicely too.
Love these things. The motor in my IS300 is out of a late model crown!
That car looks wicked amazing I would take this over any Volvo or Mercedes brick.
Yes wagon! And lower the altitude and increase the attitude. RWD straight 6. I already am envious
Seeing flip-flops in the workshop is giving me serious wince. Boots all day man, safety first kids.
Holy shit, an actual skid on the Skid Factory!
Great episode, can't wait to get my boys involved in some build stuff!
Love the intro, it suits you both :D
Also good to see the grommet putting in some work, I'm sure he owes a favour or fifty from Al & Woody helping out with his own car after all!
Intro was the best good work guys
I don't know anything about wheels, but those work alloys look right to me on Woody's car.
Starting to look like the skid family... 👍🏻
Great episode best channel on UA-cam !
Ooh, thematic lighting and woody looking like Gyro Captain from Mad Max
@5:12 They’re just LEDs at this point…not fibre-op. The green glow is pretty cool when night driving.
That’s a really cool wagon. I might need one
