Jeff Holland I don't know exactly, one of my German friends taught me it. It's supposed to be funny, like "super awesome sexy" or something like that.

I adore the episodes with Manuel, because his pronunciation is very clear and distinct, whereas while other people speak (most interviewees and some interviewers too), I can barely distinguish one word from another. When you are learning a new language it's very important that your "language parent" (your language teacher, that is), speaks CLEARLY.

Man, this is so quick to understand and to digest mentally!! Moreover, I am a French Native, and I must confess I will need more than years to get the German accent. But I am pleasantly intoxicated by this language and Imma keep on learning. God bless the goethe Institute. :)

Nah, it's in one small area, at one time of day (or perhaps two since it looks like Manuel's clothes changed) and only people who choose to talk to him. Also German infrastructure/economy/everything is bit different so I'd expect their jobs to be different, but you're right that they all seem like interesting jobs that they like.

Los Angeles: Model,Actor,Musician or producer, Fitness/Yoga Instructor, Contractor
      Texas: Warehouse Worker, Construction,Welder, Pastor

He leaves a part of a sentence out. A native speaker would still understand the meaning of the sentence because he would automatically "think" this part to it. To make it understandably for a non native speaker we put the left part in brackets.
