I luv that kid! I couldn't have understood him without the English subs, but his openness was simply charming. And thanks a lot to the makers of this series, it's really good.
thank you very much for this great german lessons i'm a truck driver in canada and i'm very happy to listen this lessons during my long trips, pls continue these lessons as long as possible danke schon!!! greetings from Canada!!
Robin, don't you ever try to read the subtitles while driving :) I love your message man, I was a truck driver for years. I came to Germany as a political refugee in 1984 and started to work as a truck driver to be able to settle down. I went most places in Europe, my longest trip was from Germany to Greece. This time has shaped me a lot. I showed your comment to Cari and Manuel and they decided to make a special video where they will answer personally to the comments and questions. Thank you for your inspiration. If you have any wishes on the theme or concept of Easy German just tell and I will produce it just for you. Keep on trucking and keep in touch. We definitely are going to visit Canada. I hope we can meet you :D
no worries i won't read it during driving, one day if you visiting british columbia let me know ,you can make some great videos here in vancouver as well,i'm hungarian by the way how about you? i wunsche dir alles gute fur nachste Jahr!!!! und bitte mach fur euch viele andere videos ! du bist the BEST!!! VIELEN DANK!!!!!
Robin Olaxli see you in British Columbia one day. I'm Polish (Lengyel, Magyar - két jó barát, együtt harcol, s issza borát) We keep in touch. Alles Gute zum neuen Jahr!
Leo B the same happens to me all the time. They don't ask it to start a conservation. Most of the times people think it is weird that im studying German and not something else instead. The question is more like an offense, so it not out of interest. Kinda hard to explain though
The frustrating thing about german is, I understand most of the grammar, and I know lots of words, yet, I still can't understand what people say because they speak so fast!
anfov3r is right, aural comprehension is difficult for all languages. try listening closely to yourself and your friends speaking english and try to imagine a non-native speaker trying to decipher your conversation.
Hahaha i know right that exacly how i feel im dutch and deutch aka german look a little bit alike but they talk so damn fast i don't understand shit of what they say
It's good that you have written something here. In the time when i have wrote the comment in 23 may 2014 for me isn't so easy to understand speaking german and because of that i said about english. Now after almost year of study i can say you that's work also in German :) . For me now isn't problem to understand new video from easy german and i just watch it once to understand almost everything. Also leute GEHT LOS und lernt neue sprache. Viel Gluck :P sorry for my mistakes but remeber perfectionist is a ilness :)
Easy German is certainly the best thing I use to improve my German. I download most videos and have seen maybe more than 50 times each. :D You guys are great! Greetings from Brazil.
Manuel another wonderful episode. You are a natural, you really can connect with all kinds of people. I loved your interaction with the young boy. I still think the best is the killer penguin remark in Kiel. Danke schön.
Only seen a couple of these videos, but I love them. It seems Germans are quite the humorous bunch, or do you just get lucky in the people you find? Mach weiter so!
you do a very good job that is so rare to have double subtitles videos in any language specially in German the level of conversation and the register vary greatly depending of the interlocutor of the interviewer sometimes some explanations added later could and would help a lot; on the other hand the spontaneity of the material would suffer any how great job i look forward to see many to come
I love these videos and can read well in German....but listening to this without the substitutes is anything but EASY! :) keep the videos coming! From a NY teacher~
Manuel ist ein super-cool Interviewer. (Please correct my German if it's wrong!) I was also at the New York Marathon this year, so maybe I crossed paths with the lady who said that it was one of the happiest moments of her life.
haha, danke.
Well, I can speak German, English and I learned French at school. I can speak and write in French but I can't understand French people talking xD so difficult
NilamYT Cool!, I´ve always been fascinated with languages, I love when people are interested in learning something different, especially other languages because of the pronunciation, writing, grammar, etc. actually I only speak English and Spanish but I desire to learn French, Italian, German and Portuguese, I guess it´ll take time but I´m sure it´s gonna be worth it :D
I'm loving these vids, awesome! Subs are great help I learned German for 6 years in elementary school, than stopped, because I found it boring and disconnected from the real world. Then I plunged into English with all the fervor, since that's the language I've always wanted to learn, but until then, I couldn't. At the university, I picked up German again and got overwhelmed by all the declensions. I got frustrated and dropped it again. The only way I'll learn German is through interaction.
do one about are you happy about being in the EU or not, but ask the question like this "people are unsure about the EU do you think it was a bad idea or good idea" sort of approach :)
Your title is right! when there is a definite article, in this case der, and it is in the nominative case, then the adjective need only an e at the end. So your title is right!

+trollasaneus asdj hi!! i´m from Puebla too..jaja... maybe you studied in centro escolar josé María Morelos y Pavón ...because i did and i thought that cause your profile name: trollasaneus = troyanos(from california´s competition)
@gio alex Actually I made the trollasaneus name up.I didn't go to el Centro Escolar Morelos, but I do know your school. I saw your banda de musica play at a desfile in Oriental, Puebla back in 2007. I went to el Centro Escolar Miguel Castulo de Alatriste(CEMCA) in Libres. I was in the banda de guerra that won second place in a state competition in 2007 against CENCH and CEMAY.
Great video! But I have one question. The woman who was in Puebla said:" I habe gearbeitet in einem Waisenhaus." But isnt it correct to say:" I habe in einem Waisenhaus gearbeitet."??
Watching this as a Mexican, made me smile uncontrollably when they started mentioning my country!
Se te pone la piel chinita! Saludos........
Yeah I know they even mentioned and lived the town I currently live in "Cholula" -Pueblo mágico
I luv that kid! I couldn't have understood him without the English subs, but his openness was simply charming.
And thanks a lot to the makers of this series, it's really good.

Why does everyone say "Why German?" When I tell them what language I'm learning? It's an awesome language that has some interesting grammar....
maybe they're trying to make conversation
I get the same question. Same exact question, every single time.
Leo B the same happens to me all the time. They don't ask it to start a conservation. Most of the times people think it is weird that im studying German and not something else instead. The question is more like an offense, so it not out of interest. Kinda hard to explain though
ich auch......, and even germans asked me this question...

5 years old children are much better than me ...
Wait 20 years, then ask him to learn a language he's never spoken before. See how that goes and reevaluate your comparison.
