I hope there's counseling available for these doctors and nurses. That has to be such a tough job.

I'm so glad he lived. He's such an adorable baby. He's supposed to be around my age right now (I'm 24).

+Allie S I'm sure that he's married with children of his own, maybe a little girl or a little boy, maybe he or his children or even his grandchildren might be watching and reading this.

These documentary segments are cool. It's like an older version of Untold Stories Of The ER which is my FAVORITE TV show!

I don't know how the toddler got hit by a motorcycle but I am glad the doctors and nurse at the children's trauma center were able to help this toddler. it was a miracle. What the doctor said the will of a child to get better is dependent on the emotional support they receive is understandable. I think that is true with adults too if they have emotional support from ones they love it gives more reason to stay then leave? and i think the drive? to stay.

4:24 I thought he had a cricothyrotomy since he suffered massive facial injuries and his airway was blocked. Usually a tracheostomy is done for long term airway management

I am trying to figure out, how a two-year-old child, got hit by a motorcycle? How did this happened? It should not have happened.

Jaye Beste unfortunately this clip was from 1990 but aired on a 1995 episode of Rescue 911. You can see the date on the CT scan that shows August 7th 1990. Also, if you look at where the helicopter pad for this hospital is. It's on the side of the hospital. In 1992 they built the helicopter pad on the roof of the existing hospital. So this is definitely prior to 1992. I was a patient at this very Hospital in 1988 and I'm old enough to remember when it look like this. I am 36 years old today. I can tell you this was definitely filmed before 1995. The location of the helicopter pad is now where the East impatient Tower is. This hospital has been expanded multiple times over the years
