    I have watched dozens of journal videos, but none dated as far back as this. Since I have seen other creators with very similar if not identical content as yours, I conclude that you are THE OG! Great work, love your mind set.

    Hi...Newbie here..👏👏love,love,love,this idea .. I have cards from my whole life..and I’m 65 now...🤣 this is perfect...Very odd day I’m having.. I’ve been cleaning out my garage and ran across my container with a lot of my beautiful cards and was just reminiscing...afterwards.. I picked up my phone to look for a video to watch and I saw your .. “Please Unsubscribe, Thank You Kindly” video.. curiosity set in..so.. I watched it..I remembered your name from someone telling me I needed to watch your channel...but I had only subscribed.. but never watched anything at this point.. so I scrolled thru to see what you were about ..and found this video👏👏.. Wow.. it was meant to be.. life is funny right..☺️.. can’t wait to start my “Card Journals” TYFS👏👏👏best idea ever💜💜💜💜

    I just want to say thank you very much for all of your awesome work:) I first came across this video when I was looking for someone that tries to use what they have to make something useful and beautiful and that is definitely what you do:) You have inspired me to do more art and keep creating, even if i don't have a lot of money for supplies or feel confident with my art. I used this tutorial to make a keepsake journal for my grandmother's cards and letters. Thanks so much for sharing!:)

    these videos are SOOO nostalgic for me... i was obsessed with your videos when I was 8 years old and so inspired and your videos just fueled my imagination and i loved making your crafts, and it gives me a strange feeling when i watch this again, many years later. im now 17 years old. but i just want to say, thank you jennibellie, thank you!! You were a huge art inspiration when I was a little girl. I always thought it would be cool if you were my mom or something (i love my own mom) but Idk why I thought that but you were like my art rolemodel XD

    love to watch your creativity, nice to see something that doesn't have to be perfect, but yet beautiful when all done. Oh, the stitch you were binding with is, I believe is called a whip stitch. I guess cause it whips up so quick.

    I'm a sentimentalist and can't bring myself to paint over the love that people write into my cards. Besides, I want to remember who sent me those cards, so I don't cover over the greetings inside. Some of my friends who aren't as artsy as myself have been tickled to recognize a card that they've sent me being used as a art element in my positivity journal. :)

    Hi Sarah the double-sided tape is a brandless tape that I get from craft shops, it doesn't have any name assosiated with it that I've found but I've got it online from the adhesive sections of stores usually with a bulk-buy discount (buy 10 10% off etc). regarding the zines I don't have any stock available at the mo but am hoping to open my shop again in the new year - I'll announce it via yt, fb etc when I do =) much love Jennibellie xx

  • @jennibellie
    @jennibellie  13 років тому

    @Mslilthoughts They're both traditional and invented, I've never had a class or anything & I think teaching yourself how to book bind allows you to see possibilities in the book itself as you go along, rather than planning a book via it's binding. This book for instance has the simplest binding in the world, but it works just as well as a complicated one so what's the point in flogging a dead pony? It takes less time and allows you to be as decorative as you like, win win in my book :)

    @ForeverTrueLove49 Hi there, all signatures are is basically a collection of papers that are folded in half ready to be bound into a book, or in this case the signatures are made up of recycled cards. There is no set rules for how many pages go into a signature, or how many signatures go into a book, it's entirely up to you & your needs and creativity :)
