I’m leaving this comment because while I was preparing for my exams, I read a lot of comments from previous test takers that encouraged me. I had to prepare for the academic Ielts in a week because I was busy with work. I watched videos from this channel and found them very helpful. I got my results today L7, R7, W7, S8.5 with an overall of 7.5 which isn’t bad for my first attempt and my target was 6.5. I missed a couple of questions in the listening part, I didn’t finish before the time was up for reading and immediately after I added the final full stop my time was up for writing so I didn’t get to read through my work for task 2. My advice would be to manage your time well and you can do much better than I did. Thank you Jay and the E2 IELTS team for the amazing work you’re doing. Much love from 🇳🇬

I have watched every single E2 video for the last month and read comments as well. I promised myself to come back here and share my test results with the E2 team. I got my results today. Writing 6 (expected a 5 because task 2 was too hard for me) Listening 7.5 (expected a 6.5-7 because I forgot a few parts.) Speaking 8 (expected a 6 because I wasn't confident at all) Reading 8.5 (expected a 7.5, it went pretty well but I wasn't satisfied) Overall 7.5 I should've spent more time preparing for IELTS, but I did better than I expected.

For the reading test, you should 1- read the whole 1st paragraph and the first sentence of the others. 2- read the questions and spot keywords (Date, Name). 3- Read the whole text and answer the questions at the same time. For the writing test, I messed up a bit but you should spend more time on the second task. Try to use unique words and not to repeat a word too many times. Search up for IELTS reading/writing tips 1-2h before the exam

Thanks for the videos! I cleared by exam today and got my required bands! Overall 8.5, writing 7.5, speaking 8, reading 8.5 and listening 9. I was always confident about reading and listening but I was a bit nervous about Speaking. I had zero confidence in my writing abilities, but the E2 ielts videos helped me really understand what the examiners look for in those two sections. I prepared accordingly for a week, did some practice tests, found out my weak areas and worked on those the most. Prioritize your writing task 2, use the time given to assess the topic and plan out your essay. Similarly, in the speaking sub-test utilize the time given to prepare for your topic. Try to cover all the questions and elaborate your answers. Try to fit in stories from your experiences because it will help you speak fluently since you have lived those moments. Additionally, it will also calm down your nerves and you would start thinking of the examiner as a new friend with whom you are conversing for the first time.
@@manishadevi851 I was pretty confident for the speaking test - I was able to speak about any topic in the practice questions, as all of them were something that I already had experienced or know (experience of being stuck in traffic, work-from-home problems, etc). But on test day, I got this topic - Describe a quiet place you like, how you found it, and so on. Such a place is nonexistent for me and I had to make up an imaginary story and speak about it. Ideas usually come pouring down but on test day I was struggling. I panicked and even paused for a while in between speaking. My point is simple, the topic you get may be something you've never thought of - and it's fine. We can't possibly be prepared for everything. Despite struggling, I got a 7.5 for speaking. You'll also get a good score, best of luck!
E2 helped me prepare for the IELTS. If anybody is wondering if E2 helps, I assure you it does. I had 5 weeks to prepare for and most of what I learnt was from E2. My results : Reading-8.5, Listening-9, Writing-7.5, Speaking-7. Thanks E2! Good luck to all the test takers in the future!

I'd like to leave my official thanks to this channel for helping me succeed at IELTS. I have years of daily english practice at work, but I knew nothing about the rules for the exam, and knowing the tips and tricks is a game changer. Another thing I would like to leave here for people who are going to take the test in the future, if you don't agree with a score, don't hesitate to request an "Enquiry of Results". I was able to have my speaking score changed from 6.5 to 7.5 (I was irrationally nervous on the interview but I knew my score was not right). So keep that in mind as well, and watch all the videos in this channel! They are the BEST. You guys are very didactic, patient and generous for sharing so much!

@@dashasidorenko I have prepared for 2 months only ielts. For listening and reading, actually there isn't much to say. You just have to practise and I think cambridge's official ielts book is a really good source and I definitely recommend you that. For the speaking and writing, I mostly watched this channel to help me learn 'what the exam wants me to do' but at this point, I think feedback is the most important thing to review your progress and improve. As you can see, because I did not have an opportunity to work with a professional, I was only be able to get 6 from those sections. There's a lot of thing you can do in a month,practise everyday and detect your weaknesses and try to improve them. Do not panic on the test day, it's not actually that scary😀. Anyway hope this helps🤗

As a full time working person, I felt like I had absolutely no time to prepare for IELTS Academic and was freaking out especially since I needed a high score across all modules. Subscribing to E2's courses on the website was the most helpful ! And because of that, and tons of practice, I got a 9 across L, R and S, and 8 in W. I write this comment after passing the IELTS several month ago (and forgeting normal englich gramatic)) with purpose of saying thank you for this chanel end E2 platforn with helping me in preparation and of giving my experience of IELTS exam. First of all, I have passed my exam on 6.5 points (7R, 7L, 6W, 6S). I am sure that i can get better score, but with some reasons (4.5 was enough and I should focused on learning of another language). Here are my tips, that I got through examination: 1. Use at least one month for preparation. I have good enough level of language, but I have just missed some important opportunity to prepeare for examination tasks because lack of time (just two week). Try to start your preapering as soon as possible. 2 Use tips from E2 IELTS. I don't sure about all videos from this chanel. But tips.... they are so cool. E2 talks about all really hard and important moments from real examination. Make sure that you are get well with using this tips in some tests examination 3 Find real practise tests, especially Reading and Listening. First of all find practise at ofificial web-site. and do it Than, with understanding of what type of test will you get, find maximal of tests in internet that look like real test. You can find big amount of tests that look too easy with comaricing with official practise test. Don't waste time on this. You need just tests with same level of examination that you got in official preparing matirials. E2 and other official good school is also good example. 4 Practice to making real tests with limit of time(most of all on Writing part). When you gets to Ielts, you can get schoked, because of 3 hour with just 5 minute break between test's parts. Try to avoid this moment and prepare for this. 5 Get in mind the worst variant of real tasks. On this chanel you can find super video about topics of speaking part. When I have prepeared for exam, I saw that some themes in which I am lacking for ideas, what i can speak about. And of course, this topics I have gotten for IELTS. That is why i reccomend to be prepare for the worst topics that you can get. 6 Use computer test, if it is possible. I understand, that may be not everyone get well with computers. But belive me, I also don't understand, how it's possibel to get your maximale score on Writting part with a paper. You will find some mistake, you will want to change all your text structure and it will take so much time, when you will get some lacking of time in this part.

Everyone out there if you know basic English please do not waste money on extra classes , just UA-cam videos on speaking writing listening and reading and you're good to go. However I only practiced for a week! If I would have been more serious I would have scored an 8. Thank you sir love you!!!

@@beautifulaccount7440 follow their videos on UA-cam about listening reading, writing and speaking and also practice their listening tests, they have all the techniques needed to pass your exams. Give yourself atleast two hours of study with their UA-cam videos everyday prior to your exams and get someone to practice speaking test questions with you. That's what I did or you can register with their online live lessons that way you can be able to ask questions on what you might not understand. I hope this helped😊

Thank you soooo much for your videos, I was logged out of my IELTS portal and couldn’t study with the official materials and had less than 3 weeks to prepare (my exam was on 18th of January and I started preparing a day after the New Year’s ) I got 8.0 in listening, 8.0 in speaking, 7.5 in reading and 7.0 in writing (overall 7.5). So I got my result yesterday. I have been watching E2 a month ago and was practicing along. I got 6.5. I got excited ofc. I got the highest on writing and speaking. I recommend you to focus more on reading. you don’t get many resources on reading and you might think it wouldn’t be that hard. IT IS HARD! You only have 1 hour to do 40 questions with 3 loaded passages. Practice and take the tips that E2 instructors give. practice reading and writing. You’ll be fine that way 😊

Happy to announce that I got 6.5 bands overall and I got all the tips from Jay Sir for reading and writing and secured 7 and 6.5 bands respectively without practice... I will recommend everyone to follow the jay writing structure in order to get good bands without practice.. Thank you so much jay. This is to encourage everyone who are scared. If I can do it, you can even do it better because English isn’t my thing especially when it comes to writing essay and reading. I was giving so many materials to prepare myself for the ielts but they were just to complex for me.. one day as I was browsing out some channels on UA-cam, I came across jay channel and his way of teachings really helped me out. He’s the best teacher so far when it comes to breaking things down to your level. I only had two weeks to prepare and I only watched lots of jays videos even despite watching his videos, I wasn’t really that serious due to work but I did apply all his teachings and I got band 7 score and that’s all I needed. If an unserious fellow like me can do it, you can do it even better.
Hi! I took the ukvi GT module and yesterday my results came out. I got the ff scores: R,W,S-7 and L-7.5 now I do have a very poor attention span and was only able to review intensively for a week, but I did occasionally consume content from E2 before that so I somewhat already have some knowledge. I was aiming for 9 or atleast 8.5. still got 8.0 overall L: 8.5 R: 8.0 (was expecting 8.5) W: 7.5 (took 5 mins extra in part1, so couldn't conclude that well in part 2 plus my word count was way up to 320+) S: 7.5 (was expecting 8-8.5)
@@manishadevi851 E2language has other videos with tips and tricks on reading section and also managing time. Also you will have to practise the reading method Jay has taught in those lessons. Unless you don't do actual tests with a stop watch or certain websites also offer tests in similar pattern to IELTS, you will be able to do it.

@@nikulkumar1907 Hey mate. I studied for roughly two weeks. The key factor is to study the format, band descriptors and what sort of sentences examiners look for (writing and speaking). It always helps to get a genuine professional assessment as it's important to know where you stand with your proficiency. Prep time varies from person to person so I'm not in a position to guide you there. This channel is very helpful because they also tackle IELTS prep from the point of view of the examiner. Good luck.

I just did the I P and was just about entering my Present story before my time was up. I have watched every single E2 video for the last month and read comments as well. I promised myself to come back here and share my test results with the E2 team. For best scores, writing is one big area to improve on. Rest all can be cleared with some practice.

For the reading test, you should 1- read the whole 1st paragraph and the first sentence of the others. 2- read the questions and spot keywords (Date, Name). 3- Read the whole text and answer the questions at the same time. For the writing test, I messed up a bit but you should spend more time on the second task. Try to use unique words and not to repeat a word too many times. Search up for IELTS reading/writing tips 1-2h before the exam

Thanks for the videos! I cleared by exam today and got my required bands! Overall 8.5, writing 7.5, speaking 8, reading 8.5 and listening 9. I was always confident about reading and listening but I was a bit nervous about Speaking. I had zero confidence in my writing abilities, but the E2 ielts videos helped me really understand what the examiners look for in those two sections. I prepared accordingly for a week, did some practice tests, found out my weak areas and worked on those the most. Prioritize your writing task 2, use the time given to assess the topic and plan out your essay. Similarly, in the speaking sub-test utilize the time given to prepare for your topic. Try to cover all the questions and elaborate your answers. Try to fit in stories from your experiences because it will help you speak fluently since you have lived those moments. Additionally, it will also calm down your nerves and you would start thinking of the examiner as a new friend with whom you are conversing for the first time.
@@manishadevi851 I was pretty confident for the speaking test - I was able to speak about any topic in the practice questions, as all of them were something that I already had experienced or know (experience of being stuck in traffic, work-from-home problems, etc). But on test day, I got this topic - Describe a quiet place you like, how you found it, and so on. Such a place is nonexistent for me and I had to make up an imaginary story and speak about it. Ideas usually come pouring down but on test day I was struggling. I panicked and even paused for a while in between speaking.
My point is simple, the topic you get may be something you've never thought of - and it's fine. We can't possibly be prepared for everything. Despite struggling, I got a 7.5 for speaking. You'll also get a good score, best of luck!

I'd like to leave my official thanks to this channel for helping me succeed at IELTS. I have years of daily english practice at work, but I knew nothing about the rules for the exam, and knowing the tips and tricks is a game changer.
Another thing I would like to leave here for people who are going to take the test in the future, if you don't agree with a score, don't hesitate to request an "Enquiry of Results". I was able to have my speaking score changed from 6.5 to 7.5 (I was irrationally nervous on the interview but I knew my score was not right). So keep that in mind as well, and watch all the videos in this channel! They are the BEST.

@@dashasidorenko I have prepared for 2 months only ielts. For listening and reading, actually there isn't much to say. You just have to practise and I think cambridge's official ielts book is a really good source and I definitely recommend you that. For the speaking and writing, I mostly watched this channel to help me learn 'what the exam wants me to do' but at this point, I think feedback is the most important thing to review your progress and improve. As you can see, because I did not have an opportunity to work with a professional, I was only be able to get 6 from those sections. There's a lot of thing you can do in a month,practise everyday and detect your weaknesses and try to improve them. Do not panic on the test day, it's not actually that scary😀. Anyway hope this helps🤗

As a full time working person, I felt like I had absolutely no time to prepare for IELTS Academic and was freaking out especially since I needed a high score across all modules. THANK YOU. I had a week for my exam and prepared with watching your writing videos. In the end I got a total score of 8.5 with writing being 7.5 (i hate task 1).
I write this comment after passing the IELTS several month ago (and forgeting normal englich gramatic)) with purpose of saying thank you for this chanel end E2 platforn with helping me in preparation and of giving my experience of IELTS exam.
First of all, I have passed my exam on 6.5 points (7R, 7L, 6W, 6S). I am sure that i can get better score, but with some reasons (4.5 was enough and I should focused on learning of another language). Here are my tips, that I got through examination:
1. Use at least one month for preparation. I have good enough level of language, but I have just missed some important opportunity to prepeare for examination tasks because lack of time (just two week). Try to start your preapering as soon as possible.
2 Use tips from E2 IELTS. I don't sure about all videos from this chanel. But tips.... they are so cool. E2 talks about all really hard and important moments from real examination. Make sure that you are get well with using this tips in some tests examination
3 Find real practise tests, especially Reading and Listening. First of all find practise at ofificial web-site. and do it Than, with understanding of what type of test will you get, find maximal of tests in internet that look like real test. You can find big amount of tests that look too easy with comaricing with official practise test. Don't waste time on this. You need just tests with same level of examination that you got in official preparing matirials. E2 and other official good school is also good example.
4 Practice to making real tests with limit of time(most of all on Writing part). When you gets to Ielts, you can get schoked, because of 3 hour with just 5 minute break between test's parts. Try to avoid this moment and prepare for this.
5 Get in mind the worst variant of real tasks. On this chanel you can find super video about topics of speaking part. When I have prepeared for exam, I saw that some themes in which I am lacking for ideas, what i can speak about. And of course, this topics I have gotten for IELTS. That is why i reccomend to be prepare for the worst topics that you can get.
6 Use computer test, if it is possible. I understand, that may be not everyone get well with computers. But belive me, I also don't understand, how it's possibel to get your maximale score on Writting part with a paper. You will find some mistake, you will want to change all your text structure and it will take so much time, when you will get some lacking of time in this part.
Hey Mark and Jay! Got my scores today! Overall 7 band , all thanks to you and another UA-cam channel without paying for classes it was a massive push and boost to my confidence. Everyone out there if you know basic English please do not waste money on extra classes , just UA-cam videos on speaking writing listening and reading and you're good to go. However I only practiced for a week! If I would have been more serious I would have scored an 8. Thank you sir love you!!!

@@beautifulaccount7440 follow their videos on UA-cam about listening reading, writing and speaking and also practice their listening tests, they have all the techniques needed to pass your exams. Give yourself atleast two hours of study with their UA-cam videos everyday prior to your exams and get someone to practice speaking test questions with you. That's what I did or you can register with their online live lessons that way you can be able to ask questions on what you might not understand. I hope this helped😊

So I got my result yesterday. I have been watching E2 a month ago and was practicing along. I got 6.5. I got excited ofc. I got the highest on writing and speaking. I recommend you to focus more on reading. you don’t get many resources on reading and you might think it wouldn’t be that hard. IT IS HARD! You only have 1 hour to do 40 questions with 3 loaded passages. Practice and take the tips that E2 instructors give. practice reading and writing. You’ll be fine that way 😊

Thank you so much jay. This is to encourage everyone who are scared. If I can do it, you can even do it better because English isn’t my thing especially when it comes to writing essay and reading. I was giving so many materials to prepare myself for the ielts but they were just to complex for me.. one day as I was browsing out some channels on UA-cam, I came across jay channel and his way of teachings really helped me out. He’s the best teacher so far when it comes to breaking things down to your level. I only had two weeks to prepare and I only watched lots of jays videos even despite watching his videos, I wasn’t really that serious due to work but I did apply all his teachings and I got band 7 score and that’s all I needed. If an unserious fellow like me can do it, you can do it even better.

I got the ff scores: R,W,S-7 and L-7.5 now I do have a very poor attention span and was only able to review intensively for a week, but I did occasionally consume content from E2 before that so I somewhat already have some knowledge. @@manishadevi851 E2language has other videos with tips and tricks on reading section and also managing time. Also you will have to practise the reading method Jay has taught in those lessons. Unless you don't do actual tests with a stop watch or certain websites also offer tests in similar pattern to IELTS, you will be able to do it.

I studied for roughly two weeks. The key factor is to study the format, band descriptors and what sort of sentences examiners look for (writing and speaking).
It always helps to get a genuine professional assessment as it's important to know where you stand with your proficiency.
Prep time varies from person to person so I'm not in a position to guide you there.
This channel is very helpful because they also tackle IELTS prep from the point of view of the examiner.

E2 is truly the best in this game. Studied for like a month exclusively by watching Jay's video. I got a good score 😌 R-8,L-8,S-7.5 and W 7. Funny thing is that I didn't use the ppf completely.. I just did the I P and was just about entering my Present story before my time was up. I felt so sad at the end of the speaking thinking I didn't get to use all my complex sentences but then...I got the 7.5. Thanks Jay and Liz...you guys rock
