I'm a huge fan of all your TAS TEKKEN videos. Will it be possible eventually to make these types of vids for more games like Tekken 5DR? Tekken 6? Just curious. This is amazing
The only issue with Tekken 6 and on is that they're all very combo heavy. So it may just be a bunch of launchers into combos instead of actual tas fundamentals lol.
They tried to play pretend with this concept with t7. They tried, -_-, while doing a netherealm studios roster cleanup if most of the og characters and leaving the rest of us asking, why is everyone in this 7th tournament again? The atmoaphere never progressed from t5, sadly.
The stages, music, new outfits, intros & outros, the characters & their stories. It was aesthetically beautiful & it felt it was a new era of Tekken. Gameplay is fun but not the best in terms of balance.

19-5 -96 as much as i‘d also wish these stages would make a return i think that namco doesn‘t want such stages to be competitive at all since the stage is so big and the walls are quite far away but maybe they would listen to the hardcore fans for this time and we maybe get stages like these again

Maina is showing me more of the level that i actually knew existed - plus reading all the japanese and the level of detail the designers put into this one is awesome to see!

What I love about this game is the “interaction” with the npc’s on the street and making them run from the fight to avoid getting caught in it. They should bring that back imo

Some of the commentators mention this game as the last time Paul and Law were serious in story and character. This is true, as tekken 5 basically turned them into joke characters, Paul is the broken record and Law is never resolving any legal difficulties just for the lols of the audience. It's sad that this game was the last to push the narrative boundaries of tekken in my opinion. Thank you for this match series, always a pleasure to observe your craftsmanship.

TAS(Tool-Assisted Speedrun also Tool-Assisted Superplay). It program uses "Emulators" to clear games quickly. It's a video that shows good results by playing it over and over again. and I recorded by him. Depending on good the tools are he could slow down or go frame by frame and record an input. When something doesn't go his way he can reload into a previous state as many times as he needs to get the results he wants. Which can take many many redos. In the end this video is the result.

Also, as broken as they were, Tekken 4's stages really had a lot of love put into them.
i would say that its more like:

When you just realise how big the levels actually were in Tekken 4. Underappreciated concept with the destruction and different walls.
I honestly want Tekken to bring these kind of stages back especially if they add the wall/floor/balcony breaks.
Wow look at this beautiful stage. Tekken 4 hands down have the best stages. I wish tekken 8 would go back to making stages like these.
