I swapped the wheels over but now whenever I try to adjust suspension specs nothing changes on the car itself, just in the files.
One thing to point out: if you modify the graphics offset in the car.ini file you also have to alter the pickup heights in the same file and the colliders.ini file accordingly so that the ride height physics remain correct
Do they update the same amount or some specific method we’re able to follow? Just curious since if it affects the physics I’m assuming it’s more complex.

Hey, when I tried the car out in game the wheels were flying around like crazy, but only the rear wheels, the front wheels were working perfectly. I followed every step and did not have any errors throughout the whole process. Do you have a fix for that?
Sounds like you got the real wheel objects still parented to the front wheel empties then ;)

Deleting the setup > camber section didn’t work for me, car still has bad fitment
wheels are perfect just on some cars the glass textures get messed with or interior textures
open the model in kseditor, right click the messed up texture and make sure in materials "transparent" = true
Hey man, I’m loving your videos! They’re so well explained and easy to follow.
I successfully swapped wheels on a car. The only issue I have is when I’m in free camera mode or tv camera in replay and the car is a certain distance away, the wheels suddenly change color or have some kind of texture over it.
Any ideas on how to fix that or do these things happen sometimes?
Also the cars gearshift stays on the road when applying and releasing throttle.
Lods bug, delete all lods and edit lods.ini to correct
hi, you haven´t changed the visual of the car, you have changed the setup when you modified the suspension.ini. You have to consider it. Else you can use the suspensions.ini graphic offsets

How can you instantly see your saved data files? Because when i edit data settings it doesnt change nothing, i need to close the showroom and then pack the data and then go back so i can see it.
remove the data from the car folder first.
Your car may have a data.acd file in it's folder in adition to the data folder. If that is the case, you need to remove the data.acd file. But ONLY after unpacking it to have a data folder, otherwise the car will no longer work.
so i swap gtr rims to little fitz, and resize them on blender, but when i go to assetto the rims still huge, how do i change it?

i did your tutorial on changing wheels but i didnt try it when i did it and when i went into cm showroom i couldnt steer or change anything there it was like the wheel wasnt connected. and when i tried it the wheels didnt move can you help me?
You might not have set the wheel empties as parents. Check that and if they are not, there's the issue :)

Mine is the same way, I have to start an actual race to notice any changes. My showroom won’t update and I can’t figure it out

I don't have these data folder and the pack data is grey, so I can't click on it. Any ideas?😅
The car might be encrypted, which means you can't edit it

Hey! Thanks! Putting an FBX file wheel on a car is of course possible, but you'd need to create a new material an texture for it. It's quite a tiring process. Making a separate video for that is probably the easiest thing to do
Hey man! I have this really specific issue that I can't seem to figure out. This video got me the closest to fixing it! The issue is when I steer, the wheels clip on the inside of the fenders. If I make the wheels smaller, it doesn't do it but the fitment is off. Any help would be lovely!
If you decease the size of the wheels in blender, you need to hit "Ctrl + A" and select "Apply Scale". That should do the trick ;)

You need to resize the empties (wheel, suspension and sometimes cars have disc empties), then select these empties and hit ctrl + a and click scale, to apply the scale. You might then also have the change the wheel size in the tyres.ini file

Then the empty for the wheel needs ro by rotated 90° on the x-Axis (make sure to rotate the wheel mesh back in place afterwards).
So once the car is in Ks editor the windows on the car are bugged and like chrome from the outside of the car and the interior is gone but once i zoom in to the inside the interior is fine? any fixes
You need to set the glass objets to transparent again. Just right click them in the ks editor and on the bottom the first category, there's a thing called isTransparent. You need to set that to true

Man pls make a tutorial how to do bodywork like lips, wings, fenders etc. in blender and transfer it into game. AC community needs it a lot. I always have problems with kseditor and there is 0 content on UA-cam how to do it in the right way.

I get many errors when I start a race
They all say something about LODkn5
Go into the data folder, open the LOD.ini, delete everything but the fist thing and change the OUT to something like 10000. Should do the trick
Help my interior is bugged
Do you mean you can't see it through windows from the outside, or what exactly?
Is there a way to adjust the track width of an individual wheel? [wider track-width on LF wheel, doens't affect RF for example]
