Elektron Syntakt Tutorial: Create Instant Performance Effects

- I've spent a few weeks learning the Syntakt and have been trying to come up with interesting ways to perform with it. In this video I show you how to use the FX Block and Trig Preview to create a set of instant effects that can be triggered on-demand during a performance.
I know this video is a year old, but this totally changed how I use my device. I record all my songs DAWless live, so this is an absolute game changer. The "Func + no" was fine, but to be able to manipulate the filter like this is huge.
You unlocked an entire feature of this machine for me. Tyvm bud!
Clever. Control all presets. Never would have thought of this. Thanks
thanks Maxipok, nice touch. In fact, you had this explained very easily, set at a good pace, no faffing about and to the point. Very Good !
Thanks, I’m glad it was useful!
Really smart, never thought of using FX block trigless trigs like this - thanks!
Another nifty trick to add to the arsenal, thank you.
Subbed because of this video. More Syntakt please!
Thanks for the sub 🙂
Clever!
Nice👍🏻Thank you
Nicely explained, thank you
Brilliant!!! Much gratitude
Great tips, thanks for sharing!
Merci pour cette technique ! C'est super simple mais vachement efficace.
Wow... Super useful! Thx🔥
That's genius! Thanks!
Very nice man !
Very clever!
brilliant
Dope! Thanks :D
Wicked! 👍
Simplemente, BRUH!!…
That’s clever!
More luck than judgement, found it by accident while trying to figure out how to do side chain with the FX block! 😃
Exellent , can we record the perf ? or do we need to use parameter lock ?
Is there a way to automatically reset a pattern to its original state after modifying? I don’t think this question involves FX track. Say I’m playing a pattern and start modifying as I build it up, then hit a new pattern for the drop, how do I return to the previous pattern in its original state prior to it being modified? Is there something I can put in trig1 of that pattern to automatically reset the parameters?
Well there’s function + no, which will reset everything you change to the previous saved state, but I don’t know if that works across different patterns. I think you’d need to hit it before the pattern changes but I haven’t tried to use it like that so can’t say for sure.
@@MaxipokMusic Reload Pin didnt work for me as I have to hit it at the same instant the new pattern loads. I feel there must be a way to program the first Trig of the pattern to reset the parameters
@@neonpop80 did u manage to find a work around for this? running into the same issue when performing. than ks!
@@lai_raw Hey bud. I didn't. I realized Elektron's higher grade machines like Analog Four are made for that with the Sound Kit options. No easy work around for what I initally wanted
@@neonpop80 ah sad... thx for getting back 2 me anyway !
