Just got back to playing maplestory again. Made a burning character but didn't want to play my usual picks again. I picked Cadena solely from this video alone. Technical characters are always fun to play and she is great at mobbing. I use this combo all the time. The steam controller makes this easier not taxing on the hand. I set 1 button to double tap the skill and the cancel skill. I only need to cycle 6 buttons. I think I might be able to set a button to quadruple tap. I'll probably experiment this. See if I can shorten it to only 3 button presses.
unfortunately in GMS currently the shotgun and brick are unusable while on the ground the game requires that you must be in the air to perform the attack. so most of these combos shown are not as easy to do, if at all.
Am I the only one that absolutely loves that you have to use all the combo skills for max damage? I mean if you want to play a braindead-hold-one-button class go ahead, but that will just become boring down the line imo.
Blaster needed perfect execution though where as here you can just bind the 6 skills to a-s-d-q-w-e and use the hook with control with your right thumb for example. And just have the combo go as follow: a ctrl s ctrl d ctrl q ctrl w ctrl e - for example and there's the whole combo :D - Not that hard to do, and good for bossing and pesky elites while stationary ;)
its much better to cancel the skills with thrash and not pursuit like stated in this guide. Pursuit is used as a one off cancel now and rarely used while bossing outside of stopping movement while flash jumping

Tfw maplestory becomes smash bros with animation cancel this animation cancel that. Not much of a “your play style” when you can keep everything on cd and only in order of hardest hitting first. It’s kinda annoying to play with so many movements and to not move you break your fingers. I’ll be glad to get to 140 so I don’t have to look at the class forever till everything else is 200. I’m glad if people enjoy it though

Cool, I really wanna see this technique in action against a boss. Looks a lot easier than Blaster so I hope lots of people play Cadena

Quite possibly. Zero's can be tough to learn too though haha
I won't say most, since my friend told me is easier to combo than it looks, but for me I still feel it's difficult :(

You can't macro them cos the skills have cooldown and you can't drag them in.
GMS fucked it up...Thank you nexon. (you must be airborne to use most of the skills for god knows what reason)

Yes the first job skill which is the Chain Art: Chase, the skills that allows you to fire off a chain to any target and move to it.

Yes you do deal slightly more damage. You can try it with Battle Stats for a more accurate result cos everyone's gameplay is different.
