Recorded live at CSI St Thomas Church Tholassery Tiruvalla Kerala in 2014. This was the first Malayalam album and the logistics of co ordinating with choirs and practice was overcome by the excellent singing by the choristers . The commitment to choir singing is unmatchable.
Classic Hymns has recorded over 125 Hymns so far and the live recording Mass Choir is the salient feature of the album . FANTASTIC!!! Listening to this magnificent Indian mass choir and beautiful organ music is sheer delight ! I say this for a number of reasons. We are listening to clearly well trained voices, divided in the four vocal sections, which are vocally equally strong.The outcome of this ideal combination is a compact and harmonious sound .This choir is very much vocally in balance and is what more : its members know what they sing about and their souls are very much involved in the Christian message that they proclaim.These singers believe what they sing.Dear choir, listening to you makes me happy :-) You move my heart,so KEEP SINGING !

Did you know that you have done the greatest thing to hymns& choruses. You have revived them. There used to be times when I used to wonder what would happen to hymns and choruses!!! Keep up the good work all!! Choir sounds amazing and all glory to God.
Stanley Wiselin - Thanks for the very pointed thought. That is exactly one of the reasons that came to our heart in early 2007. So we tried to do a set of hymns with choirs in Chennai recorded the first album in 2008 live with Pipe Organ . The Credit should go to the conductors for picking the scroe and ensuring the individual chiors got it right to the T Particular mention of the Sound Engineering team ( Timmy/ Sean / Jaishankar ) did an amazing work with the recording and it gave us the confidence to do 10 more albumns covering over 150 hymns ...Each time we tried a new plan ( like last album with Orchestration ) See the hymns in the playlist in the Channel.
