Ignore pain is a perfect thematic ability for warrior! Sure it works on magic and warrior is the least magical class, but imagine the steel balls it takes to be getting hit by giant physical hits and fucking fireballs and shit and you just tell it “no” and ignore it. Just straight ignore it. Not phased. Beast.
Here Blizz, I'll make a new talent for you. [Ignore Pain]: *REMOVED* (New!) [Acknowledge Pain]: The warrior comes to face his inner turmoil. Upon activation, the Warrior falls to his knees and breaks down into tears, beginning to experience the full extent of his loss and sorrow. Years and years of burried guilt, fear, and shame, surfacing from the ground, threatenning to destroy the soul that hid them away. The people he's killed, the cities he's burned, the wife he left and the children he failed to protect. The memories of their bloodied and bruised faces haunts his eyes, their cries of anguish and fear burning ice cold in his ears. What have I done... The screaming, the wailing, the ravaged faces of innocents, all deep seeded guilts violently clawing out. The pain was too much to bare. Bringing his sword to his throat, he ends his suffering with one swift motion. As his lifeblood pours out from his neck and pools at his knees, one final thought echos in his fading consciousness. "Was it worth the loot?" Fin.
That's the exact kind of game-play they're trying to not have. You shouldn't "need" to have everything up at once. It should be a choice between which mitigation you want, and having each for each situation. Shouldn't have to have all mitigation up before each pack, charge>Thunder(or Shockwave)>little armor bonus> survive as mobs die. Hell, it even helps lessen the amount of chain pulling that was an issue in Wrath. Because you can't just pop all defensivess as you run in, you have to think about how you pull, and worry(or gleafully enjoy) your healers heart attack as your hp drops. Not to mention with the GCD changes, and working away from the "must have all up" mentality we can see the picture of choice. Big hitting ability: you can mitigate 50% of the damage, making your healer use their GCD to heal you up big, or you can mitigate 75% of the damage saving your healers GCD for add spawn. Also, what happened to kiting, I miss kiting. Good example being at ~11:00 where you try to have all cd's up for that ability. Just doesn't sit right as that's exactly the game-play we have now. Pop everything, don't take any damage, and let healers sit there bored. So the fix is having the damage high enough to force all cds in order to make it worth while, and now if you don't "play right" you find yourself dying from that, and getting kicked because yu dum nub. I know right now tuning has yet to actually happen, but I fear it's going to happen exactly as it is now.
Isn't this just a metaphor for most of the class changes in BfA? Remove something, realise it screws up the class so the best way forward is to just put it back.
Blizzard couldn’t think of anything? Enraged/ignore pain - Deal more and take less damage on lower life. Combat Focus - Parry/blocking/dodging gives a counter strike that increases parry/block/dodge Undying - they rage out and forget how to die must be healed to a % of hp or will die after # secs Colossus/Titan form - sexy animation, just gives armor, HP, DR etc Brace - raise shield and brace for impact increases Armor for length of channel no cd can’t preform other actions. Battle standard - gives DR or Vers in small AoE taunts enemies (cause dropping a flag is such BM) Shield Focus / Weapon Focus - stances 1 for more damage, 1 for more defense Concuss - when you block you get a charge this can be used to concuss and enemy they deal less damage I find it pretty difficult they they couldn’t come up with something that fits a warriors lore that isn’t a shield on button press
How does Ignore Pain not make sense thematically? How many times in a movie does the big beefy guy take a massive hit and he just shrugs it off? Why would it matter if that massive hit is a blade or a ball of magical ice? Is there really a difference between 'Warrior's arm is smashed by a mace but he fights through the pain" and "Warrior's arm is seared by a mage's fire but he fights through the pain?"
He's also said that a warrior should be a glass cannon dps who can't take a hit... which seems to be the exact opposite of every game, movie, and story version of a warrior...
It doesn't make sense, and it's fucking stupid. I cry when I think about prot warrior of the past, back when they mitigated damage by armor and blocking.. how it SHOULD work
Honestly I much liked the version of Ignore Pain before they removed it. Instead of putting up a shield, you spent rage to literally ignore pain with a damage reduction. I really enjoyed it and thought it was pretty cool.
At the beginning of the video when you said engaging gameplay I thought you would talking about the global again and I was excited to see the frustration of the global (but it was prot warrior stuff)
You know it just occurred to me, ignore pain is basically an X% effectiveness shield barrier. It costs rage, no cooldown and allows you to absorb/ignore (no difference in the end result) X amount of all damage types. Thematically the idea of ignoring pain fits the warrior better than a magic bubble absorbing damage, but the mechanics of the two are almost identical.
Change Ignore Pain to 'Raise Shield.' Raise Shield (Channeled Ability): Hide behind your shield for x seconds, stopping x amount of damage. I just think of old Roman soldiers who would tuck their bodies behind a shield to hide from incoming attacks. Maybe it's too much like Warriors other abilities, but it's been a while since I've played one.
I would imagine a relatively easy fix to the “get smacked when you start a pull” is to simply give a very short shield block buff on intervene. Otherwise I’m liking how prot is shaping up, let’s hope Arms and Fury aren’t screwed over.
Vojtěch Brezík I think Monk. He likes to be the guy who can fill anywhere and he's already done some mad work with a warrior in the past. He loves brewmaster right now, and windwalker and mistweaver are almost never bad to play.
I just got back into the game after a while so i downloaded preachers UI, i followed his steps as closely as i could, but there are no profiles in the options of any of the addons, can someone help me?
I really wish they would drop ignore pain and work its functionality into revenge. Make revenge cripple your opponents attacks against you similar to how smite reduces their next auto attacks. It would make the warrior feel very offensive and smooth. If you feel you need to the extra defensive mitigation then thats where bolster comes in. the most fun i ever had on my warrior was in Wrath when you were just all offense all the time. If they make revenge also have some defensive ability then it would bring this gameplay back and I would love it so much.
Good video Preach, I was wondering if you or someone else could steer me in the right direction in how to get the interrupt timers of the group to show up like it does in your UI. Thank you
Hey preach wanted to ask again please share your links for the weakauras your using searching through wago.io is horrible and i cant seem to find any your using. Unless you have gone back to tellmewhen but it does not look like it :D
Thematically Ignore Pain makes more sense than Shield Barrier imo. Gameplay wise as long as they keep ignore pain from being the go-to all the time (just pool and dump) I think it'll be fun. I had an alt warrior in legion but it's definitely in my scope for BFA, assuming they don't fuck up Fury and Arms.
Now if only they brought back 15+ button rotations like during WotLK, that'd be great. I mean, 3 buttons instead of 2 is progress, I guess, but still...
so i just levelt my heart of azeroth it when from needing 4 k for lvl 10 to 19k for level 11 the jump seems a little big to me tought to just post it here as one of the vids you did you wherent sure how much the jump whas been like 500 to 1k each jump sadly i cannot use the heroic dungeon chest wher i need lvl 12 for my first trait feels bad
Preach do you think it would be more interactive if they made the vengeance talent reduce EITHER Shield block or Ignore Pain by 33%? Just a something I think would give more flavor to the talent :)
BfA is more or less cementing my thoughts that I think they have Prot Pallys and Prot Warriors backwards. If they gave the new Armor-SotR to Warrs and supplement it with a retooled Frenzied Regen or Impending Victory and gave Pallys the new version of Ignore Pain and called it Sacred Shield I doubt anyone would bat an eye. The skills feel like they are on the wrong class sometimes.
Didn't Blizzard say something about wanting to move tanking away from "Did you press the right button"? I remember a Q and A asking about the direction of tanking and something silly being said, that tanking should be more focused positioning and fight control than hitting the correct buttons.
The majority of the issues with GCD seem to stem from the openers on pulls. An easy fix would be to just have the abilities in question not trigger a GCD out of combat/within the first few seconds of entering combat. This way in the middle of a fight choices of which ability to use still matters. At the beginning of a fight there really is no need to make such choices.
Riley Invisible timers for GCDs doesn't seem like a good idea to me. More weird invisible mechanics that aren't obvious, require mods to see, and that the average player will be confused by unless they're a heavy guide reader, doesn't sound like a preferable solution compared to most other alternatives.
I think Ignore Pain should absorb the 6k damage or whatever it is and apply the damage as a DoT. If the healer overheals you, it reduces the duration of the DoT. That way its more like you're actually ignoring the pain. You take the hit and you get damaged/injured and you ignore the pain (absorb the full damage of the strikes) but still take damage over time from the injury until either a healer heals all your injuries/ the dot falls off.
What's the point in making a change if they're just going to reverse said changes. I notice blizzard doing that for a lot of things in Bfa and it is beyond disappointing.
Why dont they add shield barrier from WoD? The idea of your shield taking a decent amount of damage seems easier comprehend instead of just shrugging it off.
I don't play a prot warrior, but just like Vengeance and Blood can "mitigate" magic damage via healing, all other tanks need something similar. So I think ignore pain working on magical only makes sense.
Markus Schiefer Self healing is not mitigation. It doesnt matter how muxh you can heal if you cant survive the magic damage. Example, try surviving Dark Slash from MoS without boneshield, runetap, AMS, IBF, etc
That is why i did use quotation marks. ;-) But if a tank does 500k hps independent of the damage source, and another practically has no means to compensate one damage type that is just as big a problem in mythic+ to balance as stagger was in raiding.
I feel like they are trying to make healers do more , as a tank yes we like to have our mitigation up always, to me thats not fun either. It seems to me like you want to have it up 24/7 and just cant adjust to a different style.
Using defensive abilities in offensive ways reminds me of FFxiv's warrior from a while back. Where you'd plan your cds/ just blow cds in your rotation to gain stacks of a buff to do your spenders. Honestly, it's still silly seeing what's on and off gcd.
More shitting on Ignore pain for being a magical barrier but yet he still hasn't had a problem with victory rush or Impending Victory for MAGICALLY HEALING YOURSELF..
I get it. I understand completely Ion Hazzikostas philosophy behind the GCD change, just like the flying discussion back in WoD. It's ok when you're making a videogame. But Blizzard isn't making a new videogame, but an expansion. You just can't take away things that people are so use to. That's just going to lead to lost revenue of lost subscribers later.
Man can you do something other than tanks? Lol your BFA videos are like 99.9% tank. Seems like you’re going back to tanking which is cool but we’d love to see some thoughts on dps and heals too
Personally I liked the concept behind the Protection Artifact ability. You kept your shield raised up in front of you. It felt right for a prot warrior. Much more than just... ignoring x% of the damage. Why did they not replace IP with that ?
LethalShadow Yes!! More interaction with your shield! A warrior's lifeline is his shield and using it in a way to counter the current threat feels way better than just "Gonna ignore how much this hurts."
I agree 100%. In vanilla, Shield Block and Shield Wall felt thematically right. I think Neltharion's Fury took that one step further in the right direction. It's weird after Blizzard put so much emphasis on "class fantasy/theme" in Legion, that they seem to be going backwards with BFA. Similarly, I feel Prot Paladin's general "reduce incoming damage by x%" also feels wrong. I always hoped to see something like Holy Shield from Diablo 2's Paladin. Where the shield glowed and you blocked practically everything for a few seconds. Shields are getting no love thematically :'(
naa... too much management for a simple thing like defensives.. I think I'll roll a Vengeance Demon hunter, they got at least as much movement as the warrior and less hassle. but for people that like to micro manage every bit of rage, this is fine.
As bad as the global cooldown change seems, this video started to make me like the idea of it. Currently in wow the difference between average play and good play is not very well presented. Right now it often feels like "this guy has the same gear as me but is dealing 3 times the damage, and I. Don't. Know. Why." Obviously the guy doing more damage understands the little intrucusies of his class and is setting up his damage better, but the difference in play is not always well presented to people who don't see why they dont do what that guy does. The global cooldown forces decisions to be made. On live you can run in, get your defensives up, and get aggro all at once. With the gcd change you have to think about what the correct decision is because you cant do it all, and this makes you think about your situation, class, comp, and more in order to choose the right abilities in those first few seconds of the fight especially, and in all your gameplay. Is the gcd change being executed correctly? Idk I dont have beta and even if I did I wouldn't know if it could have been done better, but I really am starting to think it might be good for the game and making players better.
Was kind of interested in leveling a prot warrior for BfA but after your previous video i decided against it. I may backtrack on that after seeing this. Looks fun!(Except for the GCD bullshit)
Its waaaaay too weak, Preach. Plus its so damn clunky with bolster. GCD and excessive mitigation. Befuddled gaming made a good vid on it. ran around with + - 130k health, IP ignored like 8 % of his health = 15k . It lasted for a total of 2-3 seconds if not less on large mob pulls versus 3-4 and didn't hold up much better in 1v1 IE boss encounters either. its better than what we had before but still nowhere near good enough. People saying its too strong in this comment section are casuals. YOu've no idea what you're talking about. Prot warrior in Legion was never overpowered. We're just getting nerfed here. And its still giving us issues in the mythic dungeons. Skittish will still be a nightmare here because we are currently extremely reliant on running away to avoid stressing out the healer or just basically surviving. Its progress but needs more work.
I recently leveled a prot warrior and i was having a blast, i got to level 40 and lost interest almost immediately because ignore pain is so strong and stackable that i no longer needed any of my other mitigation. beyond that every time you cast ignore pain the character screams, so i went from a sword and board tactician to a guy who screams a lot and ignores the damage.
Preach calling himself a "f'kin idiot" was the highlight. That constant screaming on so many abilities is pretty annoying. I had a thought of seeing Ignore Pain renamed to something like "Enraged Defense". Where you spend rage, to in turn ignore some of the damage done, similar to now, but almost like a reworked version of the monk stagger or even a component similar to the shadow mend heal for shadow priests. Once the damage was shrugged off, you would then feel the affects after your adrenaline or "enraged" state wore off and a portion of that damage would start to register. But, the kicker would be something like, while you were having that damage pour back on you, it would in turn increase your rage generation during that time or grant you a short term damage buff. Just been trying to think of other things they can do besides a self heal. The only defensive tank mechanic that seems to be almost exclusive is the Monk's stagger. It might be something to look at.
The new ignore pain is a nerfed version of what we currently have. Not op at all. And maybe you should do some high m+/mythic content instead of outgearing on live as prot before you call the current gamplay spaming everything. Also with all the GCD chaining you are forced to take stuff like devastator to at least produce some aggro aside while you just keep the buffs up over and over again.
guess with the current rage gain and it being only 50% reduction you would always use spellreflect if available for those situations and use ignore pain as some last resort.
1. Replace Ignor Pain for Bolster 2. Make Bolster Baseline 3 Change Bolster: Increase your Armor + Magic Resistance by x% of your Strength 4. Add a Talent which makes Warrior able to Block Spells 5. GG WP
What I mean by Block a Spell is you can block a spell mith Shildblock. It doesn't reflect the Spell is just absorbs some damage. How Paladin have Holy Shild. Spell resistance makes you able to reduce incomming spell damage or even resist a spell
Holy Shield is RNG block, and prot paladins have very low base block chance, and our mastery's contribution to block chance was very heavily DR'd. By the end of Antorus, with 2pc t21 and high mastery, you could get 60% block chance. Without stacking mastery, which is a shit stat for prot paladins, block chance is closer to 40%. In BFA it's even lower. It's nowhere near the same as IP or SR.
We have some Talents which provides us more Block-Chance. Block-Chance increas by missing Health (could be good) and heavy Reprecussions even can extand the blockvalue for a longer time. I didn't say its a must have but Blocking a Spell or mitigate a spell with a shild seems more legit then Building Aborbstion. I'm a warrior which means I'm made to take damage just like a Monk or a Feral but both can reduce the damage but we build absorbtion. This has in my eyes nothing to do with a warrior
8 minutes before whining about the GCD change... I think it took Preacher longer than it has in previous videos and I got some really interesting points out of this video so thank you preacher. Now as someone who's in the beta I will continue to say this much: the GCD change is fine since what it prevents is far better than the imaginary things we lose out on. Note, not all of them is imaginary but dominating a discussion with a whole load of BS to this degree... sorry mate, it is imaginary at that point and any valid points one can make is drowned out with the rest of the BS.
Yeah bro hate to say it but you definitely aren't very good at this game, by the way are you going to continue the Council of Ballers? its been on hiatus for like 6 years
I think IP should last a little longer, but should not be off the GCD. Putting preventative healing/absorbs off the GCD leads to just bad design. PROactive things do not need to be off the GCD, REactive things should be. I think every tank should have 1 off GCD 0 resource costing defensive with a relatively low cooldown, so you don't get your shit pushed in on big/boss pulls.
Ignore pain is a perfect thematic ability for warrior! Sure it works on magic and warrior is the least magical class, but imagine the steel balls it takes to be getting hit by giant physical hits and fucking fireballs and shit and you just tell it “no” and ignore it. Brilliant.
Arri bbbbbb. B. I

It's almost as if Blizzard removes things with the intention of adding them back later. "Guys, we listened to your feedback!"
Maybe that horse head in Ion Hazzikostas bed had something to do with it.😋
More like "guys we only need you to pay 8 months of subscriptions before we will reward you with an enjoyable experience.
better they put it back rather than not revert the change
Yeah i dont really have a problem with that? Blizzard has an idea, they trial it on an alpha/beta server, it doesn't work, so they put it back.
Blizzard couldn’t think of anything?
Enraged/ignore pain - Deal more and take less damage on lower life.
Combat Focus - Parry/blocking/dodging gives a counter strike that increases parry/block/dodge
Undying - they rage out and forget how to die must be healed to a % of hp or will die after # secs
Colossus/Titan form - sexy animation, just gives armor, HP, DR etc
Brace - raise shield and brace for impact increases Armor for length of channel no cd can’t preform other actions.
Battle standard - gives DR or Vers in small AoE taunts enemies (cause dropping a flag is such BM)
Shield Focus / Weapon Focus - stances 1 for more damage, 1 for more defense
Concuss - when you block you get a charge this can be used to concuss and enemy they deal less damage
I find it pretty difficult they they couldn’t come up with something that fits a warriors lore that isn’t a shield on button press

He's also said that a warrior should be a glass cannon dps who can't take a hit... which seems to be the exact opposite of every game, movie, and story version of a warrior...
He's mad because he thinks absorbs automatically = magical priest bubble of holy light.
It doesn't make sense, and it's fucking stupid. I cry when I think about prot warrior of the past, back when they mitigated damage by armor and blocking.. how it SHOULD work
And preach used to be the main tank for a vanilla guild hahaha "glass cannon dps MT"
These videos get me trough the day. Keep up the good work Preach!

Wheyrlen Dragonfist
Like the original shield block? Block the next attack against you?
Have it do what it does now just for an incredibly short amount of time. Two attacks worth of time, so maybe 4 seconds?
Preach will be a warrior in bfa. Calling it now
Vojtěch Brezík I think Monk. He likes to be the guy who can fill anywhere and he's already done some mad work with a warrior in the past. He loves brewmaster right now, and windwalker and mistweaver are almost never bad to play.
You mean other than the fact he said he couldnt main Brew because of the thing that bugs him.
You called me out at the end; I was thinking of other combos you could have done. :) Def checking out prot warrior now.
I just got back into the game after a while so i downloaded preachers UI, i followed his steps as closely as i could, but there are no profiles in the options of any of the addons, can someone help me?
Gotta love being a Gent 🙏🏻

So far, Im really leaning towards prot warrior as a main for BfA. You're really pumping me up with these videos.
I wish they went with the modified spell reflect that was talked about a while back
Hey preach wanted to ask again please share your links for the weakauras your using searching through wago.io is horrible and i cant seem to find any your using. Unless you have gone back to tellmewhen but it does not look like it :D
I feel like preach does a better job of testing WoW than blizzard. Thanks for you're work sir.
I've really enjoyed your tank series, Preach! I would love to hear your thoughts on healers in BFA as well, and how the gcd is affecting them.
2:30 minutes in, literally the only content so far: they brought Ignore Pain back! They brought it back! It's back!
Thematically Ignore Pain makes more sense than Shield Barrier imo. Gameplay wise as long as they keep ignore pain from being the go-to all the time (just pool and dump) I think it'll be fun. I had an alt warrior in legion but it's definitely in my scope for BFA, assuming they don't fuck up Fury and Arms.
do a vid on the new reforge for azerite armor would like to see what ya think of it so far
Do you think its possible that it's so expensive because it's effective against magical damage?
Now if only they brought back 15+ button rotations like during WotLK, that'd be great. I mean, 3 buttons instead of 2 is progress, I guess, but still...
did they get rid of warbringer? that would solve your demo shout rage issues
Why is it only one GCD? Why not have one for offensive abilities and one for defensive abilities?
to make my decision on dk or warrior for bfa. probably best i just log onto beta and try it myself eh?
so i just levelt my heart of azeroth it when from needing 4 k for lvl 10 to 19k for level 11 the jump seems a little big to me tought to just post it here as one of the vids you did you wherent sure how much the jump whas been like 500 to 1k each jump sadly i cannot use the heroic dungeon chest wher i need lvl 12 for my first trait feels bad

Why dont they add shield barrier from WoD? The idea of your shield taking a decent amount of damage seems easier comprehend instead of just shrugging it off.
More interesting than Blood DK in the beta: You could get trough one and a half episode of The Punishes on Netflix before getting a rune back.
thank god they added it back, now we just need devastator baseline
What's [TDP] ?
MrMrdhmhtrhs7 pretty sure it's The Daily Preach
Dayum Tooken The Dripping Panties
We should not have it baseline, it should still be a talent
I dunno... BfA Prot warrior feels spammy, begging for rage from the Blizza gods.
Devastator basline frees us up from that.
You know you gave blizz the ability to say you're ok with an aspect of the gcd change now? Feelzbadman feelzbad.
That is why i did use quotation marks. ;-) But if a tank does 500k hps independent of the damage source, and another practically has no means to compensate one damage type that is just as big a problem in mythic+ to balance as stagger was in raiding.
yes! I'm bored shitless at work!! got something to watch!!!
Honestly, it's still silly seeing what's on and off gcd.
wait... the start of that dungeon is just like the start of Siege of Orgrimmar
More shitting on Ignore pain for being a magical barrier but yet he still hasn't had a problem with victory rush or Impending Victory for MAGICALLY HEALING YOURSELF..
Are you going to be doing healing TDP’s?
Looks a lot better now.
What's up with these low frames?
sooooooooo early..... another prot warrior change? :D good to hear
Man can you do something other than tanks? Lol your BFA videos are like 99.9% tank. Seems like you’re going back to tanking which is cool but we’d love to see some thoughts on dps and heals too
what does TDP mean
What are those glyph-slot looking things next to his talents?
pvp talent choices for warmode
World PvP mode talents.
new honor talent selection. You can choose whatever you want.
PREACH FOR LIFE
Personally I liked the concept behind the Protection Artifact ability.
I agree, Neltharion's Fury was cool, they could have had a similar ability added as a talent.
Shields are getting no love thematically :'(
Neltharion's Fury was a channel, and warrior really shouldn't have channeled spells.
I mean, if you can move around while keeping your shield up, what is the issue ? For a huge damage reduction ? I think it works.
they might just have brought it back before they finnished their replacement
naa... too much management for a simple thing like defensives.. I think I'll roll a Vengeance Demon hunter, they got at least as much movement as the warrior and less hassle. but for people that like to micro manage every bit of rage, this is fine.
bfa is gonna be the new wod
I think the way warrior is now is fine, it just needs some serious buffs. It's incredibly weak in mythics on the beta, IP ignoring barely anything.
Now if they just could make Blood better, I'd be happy.
Damn i was so hipet about prot wars .. but now is all gone :/
They removed the purge from all 3 DK specs and gave it to DH
d1v1ne2986 when did that happen?
like a few days ago =( They didnt even post it in any notes from what i'v seen
Ok dps..listen the fck up..wait for 3 sunders....
nononononono Prot is cluttered enough as it is ;_;
hope it wont op like in EN ecspecially with the magic dr :o
TDP?
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
I can live with the shouting. My main is a female orc frost/blood dk :D
Dat new Queen Azshara model doh
Holy shit, I forgot all about Nelly Furtado.
Was kind of interested in leveling a prot warrior for BfA but after your previous video i decided against it. I may backtrack on that after seeing this. Looks fun!(Except for the GCD bullshit)
Björn Kristoffer Pettersson I wouldnt base a choice on an unfinished expansion. When it’s out it matters now they’re still working on it.
Why do you feel the need to insist ignore pain is magical when it isn't, then complain about it being magic, when it isn't?
It's cool to use bolster IP i think its' great! oh.. its on the gcd. :) i love to NOT SPAM ANYTHING
now that every tank has a way to deal with magic dmg ... time to bring mark of ursol back ?
NO never bring that back! I want druids to be weak as hell! (jk they should give druids something)
they wont tho :(
See I hope they sort out the numbers, it's really boring and shit the tanks health is always full.
I think we really need Mark of Ursol back. So lame having to make no choices compared to gameplay like this.
You didn't show us the details scrub, 🤔
Is Threat Management actually a thing again? That would be nice. I get tired of never having to worry about threat.
Oh ignore pain is back, I guess i will not touch prot war for another expansion, jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez
I will not play prot warrior as long as they have a stupid mechanic called "ignore pain"
lol that didnt take long lamo
I'm not seeing much rage management: your ignore pain is up 100% of the time! It doesn't make much sense to me, to be honest
I just want to rub his head.
I think the OP part is that it affects magic damage, and most tank abilities in BfA don't.
It is OP compered to how TANKS works in BFA not to how tanks works in legion Context man Context
guess with the current rage gain and it being only 50% reduction you would always use spellreflect if available for those situations and use ignore pain as some last resort.
the way it scales per rage spend it is pretty crappy right now on beta. IP on live delivers much more absorb compared to damage taken and rage spend.
exactly. nerfed 2000 %
1. Replace Ignor Pain for Bolster
2. Make Bolster Baseline
3 Change Bolster: Increase your Armor + Magic Resistance by x% of your Strength
4. Add a Talent which makes Warrior able to Block Spells
5. GG WP
SuperSchabe except no other tank can AM spell damage
You mean SpellReflect?
Anyway you can share your WA's
8 minutes before whining about the GCD change...
I think it took Preacher longer than it has in previous videos and I got some really interesting points out of this video so thank you preacher.
Now as someone who's in the beta I will continue to say this much: the GCD change is fine since what it prevents is far better than the imaginary things we lose out on. Note, not all of them is imaginary but dominating a discussion with a whole load of BS to this degree... sorry mate, it is imaginary at that point and any valid points one can make is drowned out with the rest of the BS.
Yeah bro hate to say it but you definitely aren't very good at this game, by the way are you going to continue the Council of Ballers? its been on hiatus for like 6 years
Dominant Right Wing Alpha Male
Wasn't he like number 1 pvp rogue for a time? I think he might not suck at the game.
I don't like the frantic gameplay in Legion. Too many apm. I want less things to do per gdc and they should feel more impactful.
adrian anta
I dunno. Sitting there fucking auto-attacking is cancer and is one of my least favorite things about vanilla (even though I like vanilla).
