Thank you for this video, and thanks to Dr Robinson for his sterling efforts! Clearly, a more than respectable case has been put forward for the retention/inclusion of the PA, though difficulties of both provenance and also of text are recognised, in a humble way. And we are thereby invited to investigate the matter further! Perhaps Dr Robinson would kindly suggest up to half-a dozen books/articles/videos/audios/etc. for further study? Didymus the Blind (c. 313 - 398), a Greek speaking theologian from Alexandria, in his commentary on Ecclesiastes, recounts the pericope of the woman caught in adultery and says it is found “in certain gospels.” Jerome came to him for a month in order to have his doubts resolved with regard to difficult passages of Scripture. Bing searches While this is circumstantial. I feel it is probable Jerome asked him about the PA and we know where Jerome put the PA in John. Peace
Perhaps the PA was a parallel Johannine text to the gospel that was joined in some transcriptions and not in others. In other words, it might be equally ancient as the gospel without being part of its original text.
So I opened up Logos, I have my Bible kjv linked to the 38 volume set of early chapters fathers ANF officially. I key in the verse it pops up in the KJV and in Saint Aurelius Augustine tractate xxxiii. Pages of commentary on it. So that puts it in the Bible 300's AD. I know he was born 354ad but surely it just didn't pop up. Remember Paul and Peter are in Rome early. (We have Christians in Pompei 70AD). So you might say well that's a Latin quoting a Latin Bible well they had letters and they had a Bible and it's a strong witness. I think I heard him say evidence 10th century?
The story of the woman caught in adultery is a story of grace in action. The law brings the sinner to Christ, Christ forgives, sinner repents, sinner has a converting experience, and Christ sends the sinner back to the law, "go and sin no more". 1 Joh 3:4 defines sin as transgressing the law. Therefore: Effectively, Jesus instructs us to go and transgress the law no more. The law stands, so does the story of the woman caught in adultery. Those who oppose the inclusion of this actual event are opposing God's TEN COMMANDMENTS.

Matthew 17:11 makes it clear Elijah shall come first and restore ALL things. Some are quick to claim it was John the Baptist 🤔 Yeah right... how did John restore ALL things?
Who knows which text is next that supposedly shouldn't be in the Bible? These so called scholars are more a curse than a blessing to Christianity‼️ Keep your grubby paws off God's Word‼️ 😇😇😇

The plow man recognizes errors and inconsistencies, then notices that the contributor or editor has a string of titles and qualifications and feels too intimidated and discouraged to raise a red flag. This is exactly why those strings of titles and qualifications are listed - designed to intimidate and discourage... We should NOT be intimidated or discouraged by these titles and qualifications and have the courage and liberty to question EVERYTHING regardless of who's who...

We have lost the church, the culture, the family, and our children due to the ideologies coming from German rationalism. @@kevinohiggins3868 Most KJV Bibles do not have the Apocrypha. I have several KJV Bibles and none of them have the Apocrypha in them. I don't know how many of them do, but I would think it's less than half, but I could be mistaken. I just know that all of them don't.
@@rodneyjackson6181 Oh, I didn't know that. I saw Tim Wildsmith review a Thomas Nelson KJV Bible with Apocrypha not too long ago. It kind of shocked me, because it was almost exactly identical to my Bible. It was a two toned, LeatherSoft KJV Center Column Reference Bible. The only differences between that Bible and mine was, mine doesn't have the Apocrypha and mine has thumb tabs.

If we believe John is writing on the isle of Patmos then we must believe Peter and Paul in chains are writing in Rome
