@@ImYoutubing247 its just a body kit and paint and LED lights. this is like a whole 100k cheaper than 2020 dude. 2020 turbo is like 180k right now. he could have gotten a new carrera for like 20-30k more though. but carreras suck. turbos are way more sought after and hold value. this 2002 turbo is faster than 2020 carrera. and this car is close to being a classic so will hold value or go up in a few years.

If you just want to listen to the engine sound, do like I did, remove the head unit and all the speakers, cut pieces of leather and use double side tape to cover the holes! Also good for weight reduction!

Bought it stock and did Similar mods over the years, same usage, same condition 30k miles I love it and would never part with it. It’s a beast! It's been 5 mos but I noticed that the passenger side rear wheel has a barrel bolt which appears to be loose and nearly completely out. Kudos on the build. Extremely tasteful and compliments the car beautifully. My only criticism of this vid is that I would have liked to heard the exhaust and taken a test ride along.

My only pet peeve is the front nose bumper and headlights. You look Turbo look is beautiful. I just ordered the grill mesh for the front and back from the Radiator Grill Store. Do you mind sharing where to source the front lower lip and headlight. Awesome Job
HRE wheels are one of the few after market wheels that look good ... far too many 996TT's have ugly wheels, the stock ones actually look very good as is, not sure why people swap them out for crappy looking wheels.

Nice job on your build. I'm surprised you're allowed to tint your windscreen in California. That's not allowed in Australia. I'm contemplating doing a build on a 2019 VW Golf R Special Edition. I can see why you'd go with Recaro Sportser CS seats as they offer the option of seat heating. I live in Southern Austraila and don't need that option, so i'd go with the Sportster GT model which I prefer. The Golf R is well supported with aftermarket mods, so i'd go with a Stage 1+ tune, with complimentary performance parts incl: chassis, suspension, engine/induction, brakes, software & details from UK-based VW specialists, Racingline, an Invidia valved turbo back exhaust + Michelin PS4S tyres. That tune would give me around 390BHP and close to 500NM torque, yet the stock car weights about 100kg's less than the Porsche. So it should be a good canyon carver & track day car. One question for you; have you considered installing a half cage to help stiffen up the chassis & for safety? As I plan to use my car for ocasional track days, i'm contemplating a rear seat delete and 4-point bolt in roll cage from specialist AGI Precision in Australia, which will allow me to use 5 point harnesses for track days.

One thing Porsche people seem to appreciate is a very well done car will actually add value and not take away from it like the JDM performance market cars. Might have an opportunity to buy a 2002 911 turbo in a silver with a tint of light blue supposedly a rare color car. What would be a great titanium exhaust upgrade for the 996?
If you really need titanium, I think Unobtanium is the best sounding exhaust for our cars. Second to that… Speedtech all the way. I don’t think they offer titanium, but owner John may be able to make you a custom system.
