One of the things I love about this channel is that you choose actual stories and not long winded, high idealed, conflicting, hyperbole set in the third person.
'Why am I not surprised your people celebrate stuff by blowing things up?' Hey, it's a human thing, just roll with it (...and be happy we're on _your_ side).
I like the idea of human ingenuity using a whole tower as a magic staff. It makes "the wizard's tower" a more sensible trope as well as making a piece of loot that can't be scavenged by a DnD party
Here I was hoping the mage had made a backup staff via using magic to (safely) open up his leg to enchant his femur, then cleanly sealing up the wound. Disarming will do no good then; you must de-leg him to win.
Here is a like and comment for the stories, for entertaining me, to help your channel grow, to appease the great and powerful UA-cam algorithm demon, and get you the recognition you deserve.
First story...any magic user who requires a focus to use their magic and gets powerful enough would not be stupid enough to keep their greatest strength/weakness obvious. Second story...Hah! If the fireworks shows scared them off, they're lucky they didn't see the actual big booms we keep hidden. Didn't do due diligence researching those you intended to conquer. Even if they did capture the government buildings, it would only have caused themselves more chaos with decentralized resistance.
I expected there to be a "spare" staff. I just didn't expect it to be the entire tower. It could have been worse. They could have tried to start things off at the beginning of a football game.
The second story did not go as expected.... their plan was to take/destroy a few government buildings... That will not matter, we have loads of contingency plans for that. Continuity of Government
As soon as he mentioned the line about having the best cloaking technology they knew of my first thought was, “if you already know about it, it’s probably not the enemies best stealth tech” my second thought was “the humans are probably sitting on something better” Didn’t expect the xenos would freak out over fireworks. Probably a good thing we didn’t have to break out the good shit otherwise we would never make any friends.
I was wondering how the heck people have watched this already despite not being posted then I remembered oh yeah, you pay money you tend to get extra privileges lol
Just putting it out there, he does stream on both Twitch and UA-cam at around 10 AM GMT. No membership necessary, unless you feel like it. If somebody claims to have seen him read it before, it's likely during one of those streams.
No subscriptions for me, i will under no circumstances hand over money to Google, PayPal or Patreon and their ilk. The merch shop however is an entirely different matter.
@@RiversJ good for you not paying a creator because they have to use th3 banking system that is in place. Remember to never donate your organs because the US medical industry is for profit.
I was expecting the mage to have a lighter blasting rod/wand on his person. Instead the staff was the lighter focus for his casting. I wonder what the aliens would have thought in a US city on July 4.
I will give the author the benefit of the doubt that the first story was wholly original. But if its not, if its even a tiny bit inspired, I know almost for certain the exact image that sparked the story.
Fireworks=recreational explosives
Alcohol = recreational poisoning
Camping= recreational homlessness
Curry=recreational poisoning with pain
Yep we're never finding aliens.

Better than trying to land in Poland while Sabaton is playing 40:1
First story, as any good squirrel knows, never keep all your nuts in the same cache.
and here I thought the first story was going to end with "I cast gun" "Wait..wu.." *BANG*
You destroyed one staff yes,
but what about....
SECOND STAFF!!!!
I was honestly expecting his bones to be carved into staves or something.
roflmao an entire wooden tower that doubles as a staff I am in love
I'm loving these fantasy fiction mixed in with sci-fi stories from da SKWERL
For the algorithm... The usual gushing compliments apply. 😉👍👍

Great stories; Excellent narration! Never underestimate human ingenuity. LOL!!!
Little did they realise that the tower is the staff.
(I know that wasn't the intention but has the same vibes)

Fireworks explode with different chemical signatures and catch fire anything in it's area if effect.

Or a hockey match.
These are delightful, and as always, you more than did the justice. Many thanks!
Agro does the best Wizard voices!
1st story: i forgot this universe existed.
Gotta admit, I kept expecting that first one to hinge entirely on the word "externally."
The second story did not go as expected.... their plan was to take/destroy a few government buildings...

Happy fourth of July, found the story at 10:24 pm when the fireworks have been going off for more than an hour 😆
Ah a sequel to a great story
TY Squirrel.
Great story
A Interaction for the Interaction God, a Comment for the Comment Throne, for the Almighty Algorithm
Story 2: Very clever.
There's a knob on the end of a makes staff.
Story 1: The human ingenuity at its best and ugliest.
Story 2: Strange alien customs and traditions.
I was expecting the mage to have a lighter blasting rod/wand on his person. Instead the staff was the lighter focus for his casting.
I wonder what the aliens would have thought in a US city on July 4.
For the Algorithm, for the Author(s), for the Holographic Voice!
