Also later on the humans had been wiped out by a bioweapon. Same universe. And the Terrans went to war against the aliens who exterminated the human race. Wiped them out of existence.
all that said, understood and looking at where we are today he he he well maybe that story is not far from a truth and maybe the story your referring is relative in time.
