Just changed my brake fluid with the help of your video! I discovered a 3/16" ID plastic hose fits well on the bleed valve for this purpose. 1/4" ID hose was too loose. Thanks again for all of your instructional videos; I have learned a lot from you. Cheers!
Great to know, thank you!
Perfect. I'm sure the process is pretty much the same for other scooters. Thanks for all your work, and sharing it.

Just picked up an abandoned 08 Fly 50 (334 original miles). Kind of freaking me out how good condition it's in, just gonna start w some fluid changes. Super helpful videos, thanks bruh!
great, simple and explicit... clear.
Thank you Mitch.
Most helpful video, for the home mechanic.
thanks for these videos mitch you a star mate
+Gary Numan You're welcome Gary :)
설명 잘해주셔셔 감사합니다,
말하셔도 지구인들은 잘 이해 합니다 good 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great stuff, thank you. I found it easier to get rid of the air bubbles while the reservoir lid is partly screwed in, maybe just me.
getting the scooter all fixed up i see. I had my harley out the other day is was 77 out... i was pumped that its getting warmer here
oh ya, doing everything on that bike, agh 77 finally :)
Hi Mitch. As a newbie to taking care of my scooter, it would have been nice to see the( high speed) removal of the cover.
Just to see where all the screws are and mirror removal.
Other than that, thank you for posting!
+akaxena Hi, sorry I didn't put that part in this video... Here's video how to remove the headlight / handlebar cover :)

+Mitch's Scooter Stuff thank you so much for posting. you're awesome!
My brakes are better now hope my rear brakes don't stop working like before changing. i didn't manage to get clear 3/16" tubing and the 100ml syringe i use don't fit the brake fluid so it wasn't a perfect change it will be better to do it again soon also the transparent glass of the rear brake is not transparent anymore and i can't see the right colour of the oil unless i open it.
Great video! One of the best How-to I've ever seen. Thanks!
Will follow it one of these days:)
great video! ... you're my 'go to' for all things Piaggio :)
Thanks again for the content
My pleasure!
Brilliant thanks 😎
I thought it was Thor fixing his bike😂
Have you got a video on replacing brake discs?
I have a 2007 x 8
I'm not sure how to search in a channel 🤔
I'd have to confess that your videos made me want to keep my '08 Fly 150 as watching these were so easy and clear to watch as I was easily intimidated working on it myself. Any chance you are buying a BMW or Aprilia and producing videos on those? xoxo
+David Branchy Awesome, I would love to work on BMW one day, I wish I kept my Aprilia... maybe one day again
Thanks my friend you help me a lot, nice video !!!
Really Thank you this video... i cant say that how much this helped me.. thank you!!!!
STRIPPER ALERT!! The original screws in the reservoir cap are the Japanese variant of the Phillips head called JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard), and they are VERY easy to strip with standard screwdrivers. It looks like Mitch or a previous owner replaced the original screws, which were black, with these, which are unpainted. This master cylinder is common to lots of different scooters including Vespas. "Many Bothans died to bring us this information...." - I had to replace my entire master cylinder and brake handle after I couldn't get my cover off. My solution was to apply antiseize compound to the new JIS fasteners, but it isn't a bad idea to replace them as Mitch did, or purchase a screwdriver designed for JIS heads. Here is a fancy one. www.amazon.com/Vessel-Megadora-Impacta-P2x100-Screwdriver/dp/B003BI8HHQbrake
If i have new fluid inside and i want to refill it,i just pour liquid in the box ?
Voll Respekt und vielen Dank dafür
Bravo🥰
😄🤙🏼
Awesome, thank you for a great HD video and please use sound in the future if possible?
Saw one video that used the syringe \ hose on the calliper end and sucked the fluid down from reservoir. I tried it worked quite well. Just make sure you keep reservoir full. Thoughts?
Very good video,
Will this method work for a Yamaha Vino 125cc??
very very good video,
syringing out half of the top reservoir is just to speed things up right? The same thing could be achieved by letting it drain out of the brake system like you do with all of the other fluid?
yes to speed things up but do not let brake fluid disappear in the reservoir or air bubbles will trap in the hose and you'll have to re-do bleed the whole system
Very useful-thank you
Stick a one way valve on the end of the pipe , then you can just squeeze brake , no on off with the bleed nipple .
Thanks it helped a lot.
How do know when to change brake fluid for scooters?
So am I using the new brake fluid to flush out the left over old brake fluid?
HI please help!! i was riding my taotao 49cc moped. and for some weird reason the front brake does not work ?!?! i can bring the front brake handle bar all the way down. how do i make it tight? please help
You are so the man..thanks
Hello Mitch stop switch on my Piaggio Liberty 125 not working how i fix this problem?
Only have 1 box? Back break dont have box? Thanks!
good tips, thanks!
Cool as thanks bro
tks ,very good vedio
great video! :)
does this also apply to gilera runners?
Yes
Hey mate I just bought a piaggio zip and was seeing where do you buy parts for it, is there a site I can go on?
Waiiiit. Are you the same guy that does the GoPro videos???
mmh seems that the reservoir needs to be cleaned too..
Hey does anyone nowhere I can find a 2006 Piaggio fly 150 brake fluid reservoir cover replacement?
Try google "2006 Piaggio fly 150 brake fluid reservoir cover OEM"
its kind of a shame that with such a well made video that there isnt any sound :/ but otherwise a great video :)
Søren Engelhardt Johansen he is deaf but it makes videos better to watch. It would be shame to out some stupid music L O L
I love this about Mitch's videos. He cuts right to the chase with super-clear video and doesn't clutter up the point with extraneous words, spoken or otherwise. Sometimes he does have some background music for his action shots, but that would add nothing to this video.
brake fluid is really toxic stuff. in one of my old mopeds, the brake fluid corroded the "plastic" inspect-lens of the brake fluid case at top. i just touched it little bit and it broke in little pieces, then fluids came out and had to get new case. and btw its same kind of lens like in every moped and motorbike. DONT TOUCH/PUSH THAT LENS!!
txs...
only front wheel??
Yes only front wheel on this model, it has drum brake on the rear.
