Haha, I am also watching both of them, Jeff explains a lot verbally while Mitch gives us DIY step by step instructions. My LX has a stiff brake lever after one action so I guess brake fluid replacement soon
Oh man, I love your tutorials. Excellent camera work and a few written instructions makes it totally understandable. Thank you for saving me from a blabbering mouth and annoying background music.👍
Mitch, questo è il tuo primo vedeo tutoria che vedo e sei veramente bravissimo a spiegare anche se parli poco 😂.. io non saprei fare meglio, complimenti, fino ad ora sei il migliore tra italia e resto del mondo 👋
Hey Mitch! Love your channel, it’s really helpful and informative. Making a beginner like me wanting to do my own maintenance. Could you please do a video on replacing the brake shoes on a HONDA RUCKUS please!! Thank you so much.
What's up bro, my scooter has a vibration in the handlebars when I release it it moves, I grab it again and it stops. I already balanced the tire and rim, do you think it's the shock absorber or the tire?, Thanks
Hi Mitch, i have a problem with my Burgman 400 2008. It keeps shutting off when in idle and the engine does not work in harmony. Looks like it makes a lot of misfire. The power also went dont it can't run over 60 mph. I checked the air filter, spark plug and they looked clean. Any ideas for this problem. The f1 light is off. Thank you
thanks mitch that looks like an easy way to do it without getting air in the line my lml needs a change must be over 4 year now the last time it was changed any idea what fluid I would need 3or 4 dot or is there not much difference ?
The differences are mainly in their boiling point, so it won’t be the end of the world if you use the “wrong” one for your bike. But I’d check your owners manual and buy the right one.
FYI brake fluid level gets low as pads wear down. If you refill to the highest level, you might have issues when the time comes to change your pads as they will push more fluid up to the reservoir.
Yes, the pads are still like new... under 3k miles on it... I should mention about that but in my other videos I showed about suck out some fluid before changing the pads :)
@@MitchsScooterStuff All good, I wasn't criticizing your procedure. Just adding my 2 cents to those who might watch your how-to video guides and face this issue later on. It might be impossible to squiz in the piston enough to fit the calliper over the rotor or the pads might drag on.
Hello Mr. Mitch First of all Thanks for This Informative video👍.I have vespa Sxl 150 & the Front Brake Caliper are literally Stucked I don't know how to remove it. One request from you if possible Could u plz make a video On how to remove both Pistons In fronts Caliper & also tell us how to perfectly clean Those Calipers. Eagerly waiting for your reply.
Your hose is connected to an airtight bottle and this creates pressure in the hose that sticks the oil inside the hose in the same place. You need the hose to be connected to an open box so that the air can be released out
Remember you doing it on your GT300 yrs ago. So I went out and did it on my GT250 and used synthetic and to this day it is still nice and purple as the day I did it in 2012. You're my go to guy when it comes to scooters. Hope you still do these things when you get that VW van up and running. 👍
Oh yes! That’s awesome!! 😄🙌🏼🙌🏼 oh yes I will do same thing with VW bus! Can’t wait restoration is done and ship to Hawaii 😁👏🏼👏🏼 have a good weekend Sam
Why does it matter if you suck all of the old fluid out of the reservoir? If you're putting new fluid in, you'll be pumping all the old out, watching for air bubbles, etc. anyway.

@@Airhead.R.1977 yes true, your comment would be useful for people to see it 🤙🏼
As fluid leaks into the system, air bubbles slowly rise into the tank due to gravity. The next day it is airless.

I have gts 300 also, coolant gasket is leaking... do you think K seal would help ? Dont wanna pull the entire engine. thx
Coolant gasket around the water pump? It's easy fix... you can see in my GTS coolant change here - ua-cam.com/video/D2yBHjVkJv4/v-deo.html at 1:41
Actually I tried this today.. It stopped the leak.
