I have said the same thing before regarding him not using mods. I think it's way more impressive. Anyone with access to mods (😯 sorry PS4) can do a lot of this sort of thing without even trying and it feels cheap. I'm on XBONE and choose not to use mods when building. It feels more gratifying.
Found your videos norespawns completely by chance, but gotta say you’ve got some interesting concepts for builds in fallout 4! I’ve just restarted fallout 4 after no playing it for quite some time and it just so happened that I bought the add on for the warehouse bits, this video definitely gave me some inspiration for what is possible build wise...good shit bro!
Did yall know you can snap scaffolding under warehouse floors perfectly? Scaffolding snap next to warehouse floors, then just snap another scaffolding to the previous one under the floor. There, perfectionism satisfied.
A settlement that is entirely off the ground using scaffolding and bridges would be a cool concept. And the only way up is a well defended elevator. This would make sense in that swamp settlement that is south of the map.
It's what I did with my first Sanctuary settlement. A large building raised on posts. The main entrance is on the second floor with a long, gun defended bridge to it. The back entrance goes into the backyard of the workshop house where the farm is and is walled off. I blame my Minecraft addiction for the idea
It would be cool if you could actually build something on the sign near this house, like a sniper nest, with scaffolding supports, decorations and shit like that, but it's outside the building area. Anyway, nice work, dunno why tho, this video made me feel nostalgic. Keep it up!
were I a settler there I would be extremely pissed every time I'd drop something on that net-like floor. losing keys, caps, imagine the pain. I suspect Dave will be an excellent vault-tec vault designer.
Interesting idea I'm sad I did not find you video when a like would have made a difference. I did however prefer sim settlements as a caviot. I like to make a fort at sanctuary by connecting the houses by the water, then those houses to rebuilt building on the two corner pads, finially connecting the two corner pad buildings to either side of the of the middle workbench house. Putting your idea on top of the existing buildings would have been a great way to add the settler housing from sim settlements and use the original houses for store, clinic etc... and I could have run a catwalk out from the fort to the remaining houses to put addition things on there too like the industrial plots etc... That way raiders could not get to the fort area, food plots, homes or other things. Yes I think your second floor scaffolding was an excellent idea. I'm sorry I missed it back then.
Davey!! (Spelling?) I've been a huge fan since the second video. Seen every single one since. You're my biggest fallout settlement building inspiration. Just want you to know how much I'm psyched for you to get mods finally! I recently got one with supports and new snapping points and loads of additions for settlement building. But in a nice key natural way with in game assets only. Got great supports and structural integrity tools. I love it so much but my first thought was wondering how you can utilize it. Just wanted to let you know man. Love your stuff. Forever a big fan. Much respect brotha. Can't wait to see what you can do with new tools.
To your Strong rant, my first save it took forever to get his perk but for my second one it took me like half the time idk why. Such a pain in the ass.
thats happened to me too. I've just been randomly building settlements, then I get a notification that my companion idolizes me. its happened with X6-88 and codsworth. I think its a glitch.
According to the wiki I've read, just spending time with a companion can slowly raise their affinity (it apparently also scales inversely with their current affinity level, i.e. the higher their affinity the slower the gain over time). So if you spent hours building with a given companion it could make a difference.
When i put an elevator in Sanctuary percy, sturges, and sheifield ( nuka cola guy from diamond city) used the elevator to get to the second floor to sit down from time to time. But only the two floor elevators they don't use the 3 or the 4 floor elevators, no other settlers beside them three and myself use the elevators
It would be neat if the scaffolding, instead of heading straight to the ground, connected to the roof of another custom building. Sort of like a Megaton vibe.
ROFLMAO on your reaction to Strong admiring u. I couldn't stop laughing!!!!! Definitely an interesting concept. But I feel that kinda thing would belong in an actual city or village rather than a farm. Also, the reason y u were having so much trouble with the glass roof is because u were using the wrong pieces. There r end pieces and middle pieces.
Congrats on the channel taking off man hopefully you'll be playing no mans sky when the fallout vids stop bringing in the views I'm sure there's going to be detailed crafting/building system that I'd love you watch you play it.
Yay! I love your Fallout 4 building videos but I was hoping to see you play some other stuff with your style of commentary. I'll be checking those vids out for sure!
Dave! I've been watching your videos for quite a while and well, I've got pretty good at it. Thing is, first of all, thank you so much I love your videos and how you are straight to the point with your edits and secondly, I did a storage room cause I play on survival and carry weight is na issue. (like for real, ammo weights a ton.) and I think you would like to see it. I mean, it's the type of thing you'd build. I have sorted every loot I have in a cozy and nice way using chests and floor pieces. Do you have a preferred way for me to show you?
I play on the ps4 btw. and I just got the chills cause I always thought you'd be exactly like you are in real life; like, for real. I just saw you Instagram page.
i call it the build glitch, where when you have people around you they grow to love you idk why but i have gotten every follower to love me just buy building it even works if you just have them all around in the same settlement.
By the way Davey underneath your long ramp you having going on you could place a school bus or a box car and make it rather a house or a shop just so it fills the space and looks "Grand" pip pip cheerio and have a supertastic day
If there was a settle, met building system in Skyrim remastered (with the same depth as the fallout one), which system would u prefer, Skyrim or fallout???
Are all these scaffold pieces and different walls and floors from DLC? I don't have half the pieces available to me that you use in the guide videos. Or maybe they're unlocked later in the game? I haven't got very far yet...
What's with the questions about how got a box car up there it's not part of the game but we can build a robot army so with the ability of robots why cant get a crane working to use. Its really commen sense.
for whatever reason trying to recreate this is impossible. Using this combo of items exactly prevents the rug trick from working on pc for me. The item wont ignore clipping and is red unless placed clean in the open
Davey who is the Fallout 4 companion you use the most? I dont really like strong that much either and i absolutely hate Preston. (I use Piper the most)
Ada. infinite ammo, strong weapons, good carry weight, and most importantly, she doesn't complain about me looting and stealing. Also, the Joker? helm for the sentry that causes decapitation is way overpowered.
Well you used the wrong glass roofs. Lock close to the edges. Some are meant to be in the middle and some have a start and middle piece and some have start and end points. If you check it wrong the car box it is build like this: |start end| |start middle | middle middle| So you basically f***ed it up :)
i love this game but them mods you have is not for the ps4 i dont even have barns nor do i have any poles=metal beams for what i seen so far this mod is only for pc or xbox
Glitching that second floor in, is still every bit as satisfying as the first time I ever did.
Strong think Davey build good structure.
I really appreciate how you don't use mods, I hate having to use mods before all of the DLC has come out.
he is on the ps4 we dont even have mods :(
he cant he's on ps4 its not out yet
He has stated once PS4 gets mods he will be using them. Unless he decides to play the PC version with his new computer.
He cannot use them because they don't exist on PS4... he'll have to wait until he turns into a Ghoul before they come out...
I have said the same thing before regarding him not using mods. I think it's way more impressive. Anyone with access to mods (😯 sorry PS4) can do a lot of this sort of thing without even trying and it feels cheap. I'm on XBONE and choose not to use mods when building. It feels more gratifying.

your costal cottage and ten pines bluff settlements helped me make some great builds
Did yall know you can snap scaffolding under warehouse floors perfectly? Scaffolding snap next to warehouse floors, then just snap another scaffolding to the previous one under the floor. There, perfectionism satisfied.
wow this has been the earliest I have been for a video
when it said strong admires you that was the best part in the whole video keep up the good work man
I can't wait until you get conquest and can build anywhere! The possibilities are endless man!
A settlement that is entirely off the ground using scaffolding and bridges would be a cool concept. And the only way up is a well defended elevator. This would make sense in that swamp settlement that is south of the map.
murkwater?

You're like the Frank Lloyd Wright of the Commonwealth. Thank you so much for sharing your architectural wizardry.
It would be cool if you could actually build something on the sign near this house, like a sniper nest, with scaffolding supports, decorations and shit like that, but it's outside the building area.
Anyway, nice work, dunno why tho, this video made me feel nostalgic. Keep it up!
"I'll make space!" - And that children, is how the Big Bang became by the will of NoRespawns.
were I a settler there I would be extremely pissed every time I'd drop something on that net-like floor. losing keys, caps, imagine the pain. I suspect Dave will be an excellent vault-tec vault designer.
I love your videos, and your ideas. I have used them for my settlements
I never got strong to admire me, I had him with me for ages but when I got his affinity maxed out it just went straight to idolising lol
"That's one rubber I'll never get back." (*Peter Griffin laugh*) I've never really WANTED mine back. ;-)
Interesting idea I'm sad I did not find you video when a like would have made a difference. I did however prefer sim settlements as a caviot.

With the Lone Survivor as the site manager, several settlers equipped with power armor could get that box car up there. ; )
Keep up the good work! You should get more recognition!
To your Strong rant, my first save it took forever to get his perk but for my second one it took me like half the time idk why. Such a pain in the ass.

They'd build the platform supports first and then cut the boxcar up so that a brahim could haul it to a settlement and up the ramp.
Your awesome, I love all of your vids, you've helped me a lot!
Thanks for the protip, about the noises! ;)
"'Strong admirers you' WHAT THE F*&K?!" XD Best moment ever!
Missing the opportunity to use the correct glass roof centre cap gave me instant OCD regret syndrome.
Nice build right there
When you said "What the fuck" lmfaolmfao idk why I laughed LOL it was so random and I never heard you so surprised DAMMIT STRONG
It would be neat if the scaffolding, instead of heading straight to the ground, connected to the roof of another custom building. Sort of like a Megaton vibe.
Strong already give puny little human warning..... No disrespect Strong!
Great job👍
liked the build!
time to copy and paste this into all of my settlements lol
same
i copy ton of his ideas :P
What do you think it's the best place to make a Raider settlement ? Apart from Hangman's Alley.
Outpost zimonja
ROFLMAO on your reaction to Strong admiring u. I couldn't stop laughing!!!!!

I will be DEFINITELY playing No Man's Sky. A lot. And it will be on the channel for sure.
Yay! I love your Fallout 4 building videos but I was hoping to see you play some other stuff with your style of commentary. I'll be checking those vids out for sure!
+norespawns thank the Christ or whatever gods are out there and the divine beings in the centre of the universe
Will you be doing like designs you made for a vault when the new dlc comes out
Strong does what Strong wants.
Dave! I've been watching your videos for quite a while and well, I've got pretty good at it. +Humberto Malacco +norespawns
i call it the build glitch, where when you have people around you they grow to love you idk why but i have gotten every follower to love me just buy building it even works if you just have them all around in the same settlement.
I just wonder when ps4 gets mods what you can do with them. cause you do wonders without them. great job.
OMG I just saw Rammstein at Chicago Open Air on Friday XD
By the way Davey underneath your long ramp you having going on you could place a school bus or a box car and make it rather a house or a shop just so it fills the space and looks "Grand" pip pip cheerio and have a supertastic day
So Davey, what type of sick experiments will you do on your vault dwellers in the next DLC? Maybe blood sacrifice for the church of Todd?
On the new update if you scroll all the way to the end of the work shop menu there is a new "Raider" section/category
Just in case you didn't catch it or somn
There is a rumor that we can become raiders in the Nuka World DLC. I'm crossing my fingers
If there was a settle, met building system in Skyrim remastered (with the same depth as the fallout one), which system would u prefer, Skyrim or fallout???
Yes now!
I hope you do a Warwick homestead build I need ideas for it lol
Can’t get scaffolding or boxcarts can you help me on this I have mods on the Xbox
Are all these scaffold pieces and different walls and floors from DLC? I don't have half the pieces available to me that you use in the guide videos. Or maybe they're unlocked later in the game? I haven't got very far yet...

how did you move the workbench?
What's the button you use to zoom the objects you're placing without moving your character's point of view.
Thank you, ***** !
AND YOU HAVE TO HOLD YOUR MOUTH, THE RIGHT WAY AS WILL, OR IT WONT WORK AS WILL HAHA HAVE A GOOD WEEK MY FREAID
for whatever reason trying to recreate this is impossible. Using this combo of items exactly prevents the rug trick from working on pc for me. The item wont ignore clipping and is red unless placed clean in the open
How come steel balls float. And I won't believe they are hollow?
get the free fall boots it helps with building so if you do fall you don't die
are you on PS-4?... I noticed a red shade structure item and was wondering how you made that or if its a mod.
Is it a mod or DLC which gives you the better build options?
What is the thing thats showing in the special section of the menu because i've never seen it before, do you need a blueprint or something?
Could be the eyebot pod. It's found in mechanists layer in blueprint form.
oh thats it, thanks
Davey who is the Fallout 4 companion you use the most? I dont really like strong that much either and i absolutely hate Preston. (I use Piper the most)
You didn't ask me but I'm telling you anyway because this is the internet. Hancock is best
Its cool lol i was expecting other answers it dont matter to me :D
Deacon is my fave
Ada. infinite ammo, strong weapons, good carry weight, and most importantly, she doesn't complain about me looting and stealing.
Also, the Joker? helm for the sentry that causes decapitation is way overpowered.
Whoa hold the phonne... U can move the workshop bench
Lol nvm i thought u were in SH at first
Does this glitch still work?
Well you used the wrong glass roofs. Lock close to the edges. Some are meant to be in the middle and some have a start and middle piece and some have start and end points.
If you check it wrong the car box it is build like this:
|start end| |start middle | middle middle|
So you basically f***ed it up :)
i just finished a simular bulding
I love you Davey, you're so adorable! I want to pinch your cheeks
same
Did you kill Strong near the end? lol
Dunno
9/10 Davey isn't perfect.
i love this game but them mods you have is not for the ps4 i dont even have barns nor do i have any poles=metal beams for what i seen so far this mod is only for pc or xbox
These aren't mods - you need all the DLC packs
First
davee, sorry, but i find this creation awfull. i generally like what you do, but since this last patch, you seem to have gone barmers !!!
