Get the inception upgrade and put a backpack in the backpack and you can have all the upgrades, use one for grabbing and holding, the other for storing crafting. Your upgrades work on the inside backpack as well, so say if you have a magnet on it, it will still pickup blocks.
@@vormiam9242 Building too big of a storage of anything can. Settings and playing it safe help to mitigate this issue, plus using the upgrade that sends stuff and amount to storage and the one that restocks you. That really helps to keep your bag under control.
Looks like you planted the tomatos just like regular crops, hovewer, they can grow up to 3 blocks tall, if you add the rope to them Also Farmer's Delight have the rich soil, which speeds up crops growrate (even for rice) And also Create Slice And Dice have the Liquid Fertilizer, which you can distribute trough those sprinklers which do the same effect as applying the bonemeal
The design of the greenhouse won't allow for three block tall tomatoes with the sprinklers, but as @danielwilson7500 pointed out below, Rich Soil doesn't need to be watered. If he wants to keep the sprinklers (they DO look cool), he can easily double the tomato production just by using ropes to add a second layer. If he rips out the sprinklers and uses Rich Soil so he can do three layers, it will MORE than triple production, due to the bonemeal effect of the Rich Soil. As for Liquid Fertilizer, that will certainly improve production even further, but that will involve a more in-depth farm to automate, and it's questionable if it's worth the effort.
I play on your modpack all the time and i have just finished building myself a farm that does almost all the things and through some testing I found out that you don't need to have a water source next to them if you use rich soil and if you set a sprinkler system above it using liquid fertiliser you will increase your turnover tenfold
I was working in Netherlands in a greenhouse (I worked with the glass panes at the roof), but from what I saw the greenhouses were usually one big building with a path in the middle, fields on both sides, and there was enough space between support beams for a tractor to drive by with a plough. Beside that there were "hermatic" doors, sprinklers at the top and even some between the plants on the ground, and that one greenhouse was utilizing bees so you had to put mosquito net on the windows (also my job). But I like your design more, it seems more "friendly", and not so industrial
@@MrBeardstone By the way, why'd you have to test the pumpkins and melons with the drills? Of course they'd pick em up! Your world drills are a contraption, right?
A mod I would recommend is create: connected (by the same developer from create: power loaders) it adds more copycat blocks, parallel gearboxes and a bit more than I mentioned
if i remember right, glow berries only grow without bonemeal when a new vine segment grows - unless the harvester destroys the vine segments with glow berries on them you may want to swap out the harvesters on the blocks below the root vine of the glow berry farm for drills or possibly ploughs
for the melon/pumpkin farm you should have it so they both grow to the center so you get more otherwise they can grow in certain spots blocking the row that grows from the stems against the wall.
Looking at your tomato farm, I haven't experimented with the harvesters on them yet, but you can triple the output of the tomato farm by placing ropes above the tomato plants. The vines will climb up the ropes and provide three instances of harvest per rope. If you do add that change, let me know how the harvesters interact with them!
It's a no-cheat world, the ONLY reason people play survival is for the challenge, if he wanted to he could just make a creative world if he felt like cheating

You just have to hover your cursor over it, hit the backpack button, and you go an extra level deeper. It would help make sure you don't lose your nice, new backpacks!
The pumpkins can grow onto the melon side. It'd be wise to space them 2 blocks apart so that both of them can grow in the middle and won't prevent the other from growing. But I guess you probably don't need that much melon or pumpkins anyway.
You can actually still use the sprinkler system and feed liquid bone meal to them. It'll make for a good small local industry that's still food related.
I went nether mining and because rails no longer get broken by fluids, the cart contraption doesn't get broken. Also, add alex's delight (farmers delight addon for alex's mobs)

you can grow layers of tomatoes and this look very nice! You just need tomato, and a rope from farmers delight attached to a fence above, and you can do this multiple times! Would love to see this as a tomato farm, instead of the other-crops-look
I forgot to mention it on the last video, but the reason the swords were hurting extra animals outside of the space you were aiming at is due to the "sweeping" effect, which all swords have, even without the Sweeping Edge enchantment. This effect is exclusive to swords, so you shouldn't have that problem with either axes or knives. And knives should be enchantable with Looting.

Heh, those greenhouses look absolutely great. I think i'm totally steal this design. XD And for the backpacks: I have made about 10 different backpacks that i carry with me. The "General Backpack" on my back with the right upgrades (especially the one that makes the backpack indestructible!!!) that i use to carry all the backpacks with me. (if they arent in my inventory). Then one for Tools and similar, one for Create Stuff (Not all of it, just a small set), one for building material (Cobbelstone, Brickstone, Wood, etc.) one for Ores and Ingots i mine/find, one for Loot i find in Dungeons, etc. and a few for "Random" or "Special" stuff that doesnt fit into any other backpack. Plus i named and colored them all so that i directly know which backpack is which one.
Hey, I don't know if this is the case with create harvesters, but last I checked, Glowberries only produce berries when the vines are bonemealed. Your glowberry greenhouse could be producing nothing right now. Again, don't know for certain, but I just wanted to give a heads-up just in case!
Multi block crops such as sugarcane are properly havested with the axe machine rather than the harvester because it collects all above the point of contact.
Loved the video @MrBeardstone! Can't wait for the next video man! 19:39 after seeing your controls for the on and off switches, I was thinking that it would be a good idea to put them all inside your storage area for them. That way it would be centralized and you can control them after seeing what you have in stock. Also saw someone else mention it too, but was thinking that your storage should be a silo (well maybe a couple of them together).
to increase the efficiency of the greenhouses u can use the sprinklers to spread liquid fertilizer it acts like bonemeal and it is a pretty simple farm but u will need a second line of sprinklers
A good name would be "The Green Glass District" this both represents the growing of the crops witch is referred as being/going Green and the large a mount of green houses as they are made of glass..
Hey Beardie, have you considered adding any of the Farmer's Delight addons? Like the ones that add intergration with Alex's Mobs and add more food options? I think they would be a fun addition to the pack. Of course then I would have to expand my kitchen, but that's okay, I've got a four story windmill....
I might be wrong but I think if you use the sprinkler you don’t need the channel of water next it to plant sugarcane which would allow you to do 4 rows per side instead of 2

That means you might need a different method of collecting them. Also, I'm not sure that glow berries work like that in the modpack you're using?
