Absolutely the best instructions for this light. Very detailed and perfectly explained. Thank you! I watched a couple of men, but those videos were no help at all. The saying is that 'men don't read instructions'. . Maybe that is why you are so much better at explaining???😅😅😅
I just saw that solar light at Costco today for $30 not bad for the price. Will those anchor screws be good on stucco or would I even need to use them?
That’s a really good price! I don’t like the tap in anchors I’d prefer the screw in kind to be honest as long as it doesn’t cause damage to the stucco.
The solar panel swivel position looks like it's pretty loose and can easily flop down. We live in a very windy area in the US, does the panel not tighten down once you get it into position??
Great video - question can buy a generic solar light extension cord that’s fits in between the solar panel and the solar light. I need more than the 15 feet cord that the unit comes with.
Thanks, Pete! I honestly don’t know if they made extensions for these. Possibly call or email their customer service. I added their contact info in the description. Hope that helps and thank you for watching!!!!
Mine don’t come on in the day but possibly there’s a reason the light thinks it’s dusk. Are there areas of shade? If it’s a problem, please reach out to Sunforce’s customer service. Numbers are in the description. ❤️
I only notice mine kicking on at night, but someone on here commented theirs went off during the day. There are so many variables it’s hard to say why theirs was doing that, possibly it’s in a shady area?
How do you use the remote with multiple strings. I have 5 strings and each remote cancels out the previous remote. Is there a way to have all strings connect to one remote? Thank you
Hi Noreen! As I understand it, each strand is supposed to work independently. (I only have one strand.) Please contact their customer service, I believe I put the 1-800 number in the description if I remember correctly. Sorry you’re having trouble with yours. ❤️
The settings are on the bottom, it’s the first switch at the top. I go over this around the 1:30 mark. The options are test, 30 seconds, 60 seconds and 120 seconds. Hope that helps.
We got this exact light from Costco and had to return it twice because neither ever works correctly. It wont detect movement reliably, no matter the settings. Sometimes it will light up, most times it wont. Even waving a hand right in front of the sensor wont turn it on. It's garbage.
@@TruOnyxfire But it’s mounted where it continues to get sun? My sensor is set to the furthest distance and comes on immediately. I feel bad you had trouble with yours, I definitely wouldn’t recommend a product I thought was junk and I love all of my Sunforce products.
I did, there’s a quick shot in the opening and footage at the end. The company that I reviewed this product for had the ultimate say on editing and wanted it kept short and sweet. Hope this was somewhat helpful even though the night footage is minimal.

@@Jennyfromtheshop Friend, a question, can they be taxed?👀
@YanethSaravia-fy6bn Not sure what you mean, sales tax?
@@JennyfromtheshopSorry, I didn't make myself understood.
My question is, does the motion sensor lamp also record video?
@@YanethSaravia-fy6bn No problem! The answer is no, it’s just a security light not a camera combo.

Thank you for the step by step. I just bought this light today, looking forward to getting it up!
Hope this was helpful! Thank you for watching, enjoy!
@@Jennyfromtheshop it was installed in no time!
I wish Costco Canada have it in their next sale. I bought 1 unit and its a good product
Thank you so much! Ha Ha, I only had to watch it one time as you made it so easy to understand!

It has a knob you can tighten to hold it in place.
Detailed video! Excellent! Thank you
Great demonstration!!
Thanks.

Appreciate that!

You're welcome😄
Thank you for this, what lumen setting is that on at the end?
I believe it’s the highest setting.
Thanks for the review. How long is the cable from light to solar panel?
14.7’. Sorry I’m just seeing this!
What’s the size of batteries & what size?

Hello, did this item come with batteries already installed? Thank You in advance
Hi Ace! Yes, the batteries come pre installed.
Do have to mess with the batteries? Is that one step before installing?
The batteries in my model came preinstalled already. I didn’t have to do anything.
Thank you for creating this resourceful video of how to set the lights up! It really made my life easier way easier!!!
You’re welcome! Enjoy.
Is the lights supposed to come on even in the daylight or is there a setting to where it only comes on at night

does it illuminate in day time or only works at night or darkness

Do I need to turn a switch off on left or right side, or leave it in the middle?
Hi! Which switch do you mean? There are three with different settings on each. You can choose the brightness, range and duration of the light.
That face gets me Everytime! Great video
Aw, thank you!
You ROCK Jennifer!
Thanks, Joe! Appreciate it.
Hello one question: Can i use DC 5v adaptor if i want to use this indoor?
Hi Gregorio, I’d contact Sunforce directly with that question. I don’t know if the parts that connect are compatible.

Does it have a setting to keep it on all night,?
No, it’s not designed for that purpose. It’s a timed motion security light.
It’s a problem if you get no sunlight, it’s been cloudy for two days now and they are very dim if not on at all at night.
They’re supposed to charge even on cloudy days. Are they in full sun and not blocked by porch overhangs or trees?
Hi
Is this solar light still working well??
It is!
Thanks for reply
That’s very nice!! Great review on it as well!👍
Thanks so much!
could you kindly provide update if the unit still working since this video update.. Does the rechargeable battery last. Thank you.
Hi! Yes, it’s still going strong and bright on the original batteries.

Does it have to be perfectly straight?!
The light or the solar panel, Pheara?
@@Jennyfromtheshop the light one.
@@PhearaXT I suppose you could hang it slightly crooked, the sensor is moveable.
Impressive
Thanks, Sean! It’s a great product!
Does anyone know if it's reliable and last long?
I’ve had mine up since the time of this video, even through winter. It’s still working fine and is just as bright as new.
To the point.
Yes! The company wanted it short and sweet. Thank you.❤️
It worked well for about month, then stopped. Why ? Even it's very sunny
Oh no! I couldn’t answer though, you’d need to call their customer service.
Why is my light on during the day?
I’m guessing because it’s detecting motion and getting set off, but I’m not customer service. Please contact them, info in bio.
There is a test mode on the bottom that allows you to turn the light on during the day for testing. Maybe you have that test mode on.

I’ve not had one problem with mine. Did the panel get adequate sunlight?
