Hey there! How do you set up SKU's for bespoke items? For instance, we have 3 different products (shorts, jerseys, socks), and these products would have a unique design depending on the team. Would you just use the base product description? Like Size Small, Womens, Jersey
That would probably work well. That way you can track what product is actually selling instead of what it looks like when it goes out the door to the customer.

How do you prevent duplication when making customs SKUs?
You've got to have a system for creating them and make sure you are following the system carefully.

My stockist has requested an inventory list before I bring in products. With item code I’m assuming that’s Sku, price quantity and description.. no idea how to draft. Any videos on that?
Not specifically, but you can set up a spreadsheet for that. Put SKU, price, quantity, and description in separate columns. We do have a template for how to build a product cost catalog (which is essentially what you're doing), as well as a video to go with it. It's not exactly what you're looking for, but you can extrapolate from there to get what you need. You could create your own, or you may not need it if you're dropshipping. It's up to you and how you want to set things up in your business.
What is Multiple SKU discount?
If someone buys multiple SKUs, you may decide to give them a discount.

If you are working with inventory, you probably need SKUs. If you're not, then you don't. SKUs aren't for other people. They're for you and to make it easier to keep track of your inventory.

So SKU doesn't need to be a number?
No, it should be whatever you need to be able to quickly and accurately identify the item. Remember, SKUs are not the same thing as bar codes.
