I've been using Someka's SKU generator template to generate SKUs, you can input your product information and variables, customize the SKU generation settings, and generate unique and consistent SKU codes for all of your products. What spreadsheet do you use. Love all your wonderful videos. Am loading items and saving in draft. Want to use the best possible spreadsheet, free hopefully, and be up and running by august, ‘22. Thanks. Blessings
@@JewelButterfly I can not drag my sku section of my spreadsheet into the Barcode text area it just says that it is not a proper date file. Just useing the sku not even with formula in cells cause I did a copy. So is only the sky value. Really would like to use skus but frustrated so bad right now.

@@angiehernamdez2094 I ended up buying pre printed barcodes off Amazon you let them know numbers/ letters you need I just did counting starting at 1 if you order multiple rolls the will automatically make them continuous and put a sticker on outside which roll is which. I am still using it to make my address labels with brand, color and size and then put the barcode on that.
Loved the video, though I am having trouble understanding how I would be able to include multiple variations of a product. If I have a product that the customer can customize with say 3 colors. How can I create an SKU for that?
does the SKU number is the same for 10 same shirt item example MD(brand) BL(color) (M) medium 01 and you have 10 of them so either your software storage or mark as SOLD from each scan of the same SKU or the SKU number at the end is different for the same ITEM same size same color same brand? MDBLM01, MDBLM02?

I chose to make my own SKU numbers because I could make them easily identifiable and I want to keep my costs low in my small business; however, you can purchase SKUs or even get them for free online. @@123483219 you shouldn't have to if you have a quantity column. If you WANT to track them separately than you can do something similar to what my SKUs look like and include an item number.

where can we find a SKU generator that only gives UNIQUE SKU (no duplicates) and allows more than 8 characters? Any idea?

What if u have multiple of the same product..u said they would have the same sku # ..then what do u do?
Hi there! Great question! In your inventory management system you may want to add a quantity column. You can input the quantity there.
