I think the point MCU Thor is at now is his peak and I think he's on the verge of if not overpowered already. I don't think he'll appear in many more movies after Avengers 4 because of it but at least they did the character justice. Really hope that Captain Marvel doesn't just come in and be even more powerful than Thor right off the bat, especially after gradually developing Thor with his own three movie journey. Captain Marvel will become stronger than Thor, according to Kevin Fiege. Of course, I think we can all expect Adam Warlock to be stronger than Captain Marvel when he debuts. Also, I am willing to bet that Thor will return after Avengers 4, and that the next movie will be something along the lines of Asgard on Earth. Heck, I would not be surprised if we get a reincarnation of Loki as a female.
JTR well in that case I hope they don't make it a gender thing and making jokes at Thor's expense like that in Avengers 4 but I trust that they will make the movie without putting SJW stuff like that in it. The only way RK Thor would be challenged would be multiple villans to to fight on his level. So you'd have characters like Galactus, Void/corrupted Sentry, etc. Throw in someone like Dormammu or Mephistoles for some magic flare for good measure. That's the only way I can think of actually challenging him tbh. The hard part is getting a those villans to work together for stories sake.

And if you wanna bring in comic Thor? That battle would be a laughable 2 seconds with Thor being the victor. Thor in the comics while weakened can stay up and keep up with the likes of zues. And Odin is more powerful than Thor? That puts Greek gods on such a low tier it’s not even funny. And Thor also obliterated a being called glory which had the power of 10,000 gods.. kratos would definitely lose against comic Thor. And Baldur is a lesser god than Thor. Just Thor’s presence alone at the end of the game almost broke kratos’s house. I believe that had Baldur and magni and modi knew who kratos was? They’d give everything they had and Corey Barlog already said they could not display the Norse gods full potential without breaking the hardware of the PS4... kratos is fucked man😂 plus there all new fates to deal with and they are actual goddesses. Which I don’t think kratos will want to kill them. He would view them as his savior to go be with Faye and his other wife and daughter. Which I think would be a better way to go. I was saying the same thing about IG Thanos in the MCU for a long time. "Who could fight him? Would it even be an Avengers movie at that point? The shit he does in the comics with the IG would be nigh-incomprehensible on the live-action screen" But, well, they did it anyway lol. They pulled it off by changing his character, a much more benevolent character even if his ambition is twisted AF. When it finally came down to the moment where he pulled off the comic feat, the Snap, it ended everything. All the fighting stopped, all the adrenaline stopped, everything went silent... and everyone started dying. THAT'S what would happen if IG Thanos really displayed his comic power on screen, and it can only happen once before it becomes ridiculous. Now that the comic-power feat is done, i'm assuming there's going to be a powered down Thanos... as reflected with the cooked Gauntlet. Live-action couldn't handle that type of crazy shit, it destroyed the tool lol.

Somehow he kept bringing Binary up and when i tried to tell him that even then CM is nowhere near Thor, he just kept bringing up the same low arguments. I don't know much about either, I need to read some comics. But I haven't seen anything to indicate CM will be more powerful than Thor. I get Thor was nerfed in the MCU but he keeps getting more and more power. CM might be a leader, but I don't think she'll be super powerful. Maybe more powerful than her comic counterpart, but that's just my thoughts.

Michael Jai White has been Spawn and he's been Bronze Tiger. He is probably shorter than Denzel Washington, though younger and more fit. I'd cast Dennis Haysbert as *_BLUE MARVEL_* if given the chance. He has the height, general build, and demeanor down pat. If this was thirty years earlier, I'd give the role to Keith David. I'd like to see Winston Duke or Tyler Perry portray ICON for DC someday. All of them are at least good choices.

Two, he didn't actually live on the planet or have a secret identity. I don't think he really had big stakes in the entire conflict in the first place. Perhaps he could've ended it and just been like "This is stupid, we're not doing this. If anyone wants to tell me otherwise, here's the line: cross it off you dare.". But seriously, I was talking more about the reason Thor want kept at time Rune King levels instead of him not being included in Civil War.

Can you explain the Hulk/Thor thing to me? They are powerhouses that tip the scales towards whatever team they are on, fine, but why then don't they just place them on opposite sides? Surely that balances them out?

Its way too hard to have these Ultra level heroes in movies unless you have Ultra level opponents to fight. There's a reason that each Comic universe has multiple time lines and universes. Its almost like the old What- IF Marvel comics that are given actual ongoing stories instead of one shots. World War Hulk nearly beat all the heroes to death. From the Avengers to Inhumans to FF to the X-Men and whomever else got in his way..... only in that time line/ universe though. Heck he fought Odin, in which wasn't that much of a fight for Odin, but Hulk got some licks in that surprised him...a little. Also you have to look at the hard counters to these heroes. The Silver Surfer wouldn't break a sweat defeating Superman or the Hulk. He beat the Hulk just by absorbing his gamma radiation, he turned back to Banner and proceeded to kick him off his board into space. For Superman he would just incase him in kryptonite out of thin air or change the sun red.

I think the point MCU Thor is at now is his peak and I think he's on the verge of if not overpowered already. I don't think he'll appear in many more movies after Avengers 4 because of it but at least they did the character justice. Really hope that Captain Marvel doesn't just come in and be even more powerful than Thor right off the bat, especially after gradually developing Thor with his own three movie journey. And there's my rant for the day.

Captain Marvel will become stronger than Thor, according to Kevin Fiege. Of course, I think we can all expect Adam Warlock to be stronger than Captain Marvel when he debuts.
Also, I am willing to bet that Thor will return after Avengers 4, and that the next movie will be something along the lines of Asgard on Earth. Heck, I would not be surprised if we get a reincarnation of Loki as a female.
JTR well in that case I hope they don't make it a gender thing and making jokes at Thor's expense like that in Avengers 4 but I trust that they will make the movie without putting SJW stuff like that in it. The only way RK Thor would be challenged would be multiple villans to to fight on his level. So you'd have characters like Galactus, Void/corrupted Sentry, etc. Throw in someone like Dormammu or Mephistoles for some magic flare for good measure. That's the only way I can think of actually challenging him tbh. The hard part is getting a those villans to work together for stories sake.

And Thor also obliterated a being called glory which had the power of 10,000 gods.. kratos would definitely lose against comic Thor. And Baldur is a lesser god than Thor. Just Thor’s presence alone at the end of the game almost broke kratos’s house. I believe that had Baldur and magni and modi knew who kratos was? I was saying the same thing about IG Thanos in the MCU for a long time. "Who could fight him? Would it even be an Avengers movie at that point? The shit he does in the comics with the IG would be nigh-incomprehensible on the live-action screen" But, well, they did it anyway lol. They pulled it off by changing his character, a much more benevolent character even if his ambition is twisted AF. When it finally came down to the moment where he pulled off the comic feat, the Snap, it ended everything. All the fighting stopped, all the adrenaline stopped, everything went silent... and everyone started dying. THAT'S what would happen if IG Thanos really displayed his comic power on screen, and it can only happen once before it becomes ridiculous. Now that the comic-power feat is done, i'm assuming there's going to be a powered down Thanos... as reflected with the cooked Gauntlet. Live-action couldn't handle that type of crazy shit, it destroyed the tool lol.
Even in the comic, Thanos only lost because he was convinced to not use all of his powers to make it a more interesting fight

I don't know much about either, I need to read some comics. But I haven't seen anything to indicate CM will be more powerful than Thor. I get Thor was nerfed in the MCU but he keeps getting more and more power. CM might be a leader, but I don't think she'll be super powerful. Two, he didn't actually live on the planet or have a secret identity. I don't think he really had big stakes in the entire conflict in the first place. Perhaps he could've ended it and just been like "This is stupid, we're not doing this. If anyone wants to tell me otherwise, here's the line: cross it off you dare.". But seriously, I was talking more about the reason Thor want kept at time Rune King levels instead of him not being included in Civil War.

Can you explain the Hulk/Thor thing to me? They are powerhouses that tip the scales towards whatever team they are on, fine, but why then don't they just place them on opposite sides? Surely that balances them out?

False....maybe if we are talking regular old basic Supes, sure.
Depends on which Superman we're talking about. If it's base Superman or even pre-crisis Superman, then yeah, sure Thor could beat him. But Superman Prime One Million? Nah. In that state, Superman is in the top 5 most powerful DC characters, while Thor would be in the top 10 at best. That's not really fair =/

Its way too hard to have these Ultra level heroes in movies unless you have Ultra level opponents to fight. There's a reason that each Comic universe has multiple time lines and universes. Its almost like the old What- IF Marvel comics that are given actual ongoing stories instead of one shots. World War Hulk nearly beat all the heroes to death. From the Avengers to Inhumans to FF to the X-Men and whomever else got in his way..... only in that time line/ universe though. Heck he fought Odin, in which wasn't that much of a fight for Odin, but Hulk got some licks in that surprised him...a little. Also you have to look at the hard counters to these heroes. The Silver Surfer wouldn't break a sweat defeating Superman or the Hulk. He beat the Hulk just by absorbing his gamma radiation, he turned back to Banner and proceeded to kick him off his board into space. For Superman he would just incase him in kryptonite out of thin air or change the sun red.

I'm aware of the Hulk's fight with the Skyfather Zeus (which was not really a fair fight) because even though Zeus can technically beat the brakes off of the base version of Hulk, in that particular story the Hulk was not really trying to fight back with makes Zeus' win unearned!

He isn't just twice as strong. He sacrificed both eyes (not one) and killed himself afterwards, other than Odin just „nearby“ killed himself, making him much more powerful.
