I'm a Harley rider & collector for 56 years now and I have 11 vintage HD' s along with 3 modern Harleys ,I also own a 1978 KZ 750 I bought new ,Harley Trikes are underpowered and don't provide the comfort of storage needed to justify the cost of a trike ,the Can Am is one of the least dependable motorcycles made and uncomfortable as well ,the Honda Goldwing Trikes are the Caddallic of trikes ,they have balls out power to spare ,extremely comfortable seating for rider & passenger ,plenty of storage too .
the problem with Harley's is if you start out on a Honda with conventional 4 cyl. then try to go to a harley v-twin, power wise, it's like downgrading to a briggs & stratton =P
I know this is an older video but I just came across it. I have a Honda Goldwing 1800 with the Roadsmith Trike Kit. I have so much room in the two trunks it's awesome. I will drive it to the grocery store and load my groceries up and drive home. IMO I have much more room in my Roadsmith trunk than the others. ✌
Dude you get that massive rear trunk. CSC conversions are really nice. Sometimes trikes are a good option for vertically challened people riding 2 up or maybe with bad knees, etc...
What the hell dude Im old enough to be you grandfather and I still ride Honda Goldwing quit knocking older people by saying "Unless your really old." That is nonsense.
A lot of things to consider when riding. Are you by yourself or is your wife with you. i can still ride a 2-wheeler, but I had an episode of vertigo a couple of years ago and couldn't stand up for a couple of days. What if my wife and I had been on a long trip on a 2-wheeler. She can't handle the 2-wheeler with me on the back, but she can drive the trike. She could get us back home on a trike but not a 2-wheeler. Look at stability, emergency braking, 3 rubbers on the road instead of just two, and all the other things a trike is better at and then ask yourself the question, "if it doesn't make sense to be anticipatory, ie. display wisdom, or be reactionary and then find yourself in a bad situation where you don't have any good options. I'm passed the point of having to prove anything to anyone just so I can feel like a man. Better tame your machismo and employ some better sense. You want to be ahead of the curve rather than behind the 8 ball, especially when your life may depend on it. To each his own, but there is nothing wrong with getting a trike while you're a younger man! Peace to all.
I will get a Goldwing trike as a daily driver instead of a car. I like the feel of freedom but at the same time I need the storage space for groceries and other stuff so this trike bild be perfect (probably the regular Goldwing too but you need at motorcycle licence for that) when it is 3 wheeled or more you can drive it with a car license where I live.
I have a question for you about a Goldwing with raked out steering. Is it easily ridden by using just your right hand? The reason I ask is because I am now paraplegic after having a very severe stroke, but, I am fully paralysed in my left arm. I used to ride an ex-police Honda ST1100P Pan European, that sadly ended up being scrapped as my stroke happened whilst I was riding it on December 30th 2018. I want to get riding again. I'm 49 now and have balancing problems too, so a trike is definitely the way to go for me!! BTW, I'm from England, United Kingdom Kingdom
Very good video however I'm thinking of getting a trike never been on a bike with gears you said to learn on a bike first does it really matter could I learn with a trike I don't want a bike at all
can you possibly tell me where I can buy a trike similar to this and approximately what price range would it be,needs to be comfortable, easy to handle, turn, basically a trike that a disabled person would be able to ride without any major problems, your help would be much appreciated.
Nice! Im going to look at a dark blue 07 gl1800 trike with Lehman Monarch 2 conversion, 95k kms. If its ½ as good as the pics, im bringing her home! Just watchin vids to see what these really are. (My ol man and step mom been riding goldwings as long as i can remember, but im not a fan of big heavy bikes, I've always been a 250 dualsport kinda guy.. but i wana take the misses on long trips, campin n all that. Kids should be outta the house soon.. lol.) Goid vid, thanks! ❤
Sono un proprietario di un tryke 2009,monta due gomme posteriori 225 40 19 brigestone non riesco a sapere a quanti bar di gonfiaggio tryke Goldwing GL1800 del 2009, grazie.
I have a Can-Am Spyder rt limited it has everything you got here including more storage space and some extras without the trailer a person get..it would be my second choice.the Harley isn't a choice with us. but my wife and I love the look of the Spyders more.she don't want to learn using both hands and feet to change gears and stop..she gets confused enough with using one hand .and like you said it's a great bike.and your right get a Can-Am for easy learning which is cool for us.i had a two wheel for years Honda and Kawasaki but the wife wants to ride and drive herself but don't want to have to balance me too.and I think the guy you said he just drove 250 isn't what he said I heard most people say 700 miles on the Can-Am with no back issues and the Can-Am does have a backrest too .but the Honda goldwing is a good bike but not our choice and I can give you a lot of good reasons for not having one.but the Harley for sure we don't like .but I would challenge you on the corners with my Spyder I got you on that.and a few others things but I like your thoughts on the goldwing it been around a long time and is a very impressive bike.and has more power that the 1330 cc Spyder but we're cool with that power we have.i think of the 3 trikes you mentioned are good in there own but it come down to a person choice.and everyone is different on that.but thank you again for your input .
It's not raked out it's raked in. I'm old and ride a Goldwing, age has nothing to do with what/how you ride. If you are somehow disabled then a trike is an option to stay riding...
Please change your "camera-bike" to an electric one. It's pretty annoing that we can't hear the nice sound of the GoldWing, but only that damn dirtbike! ;-)
I like loud pipes , but that was some irritating noise for a Goldwing video . Also , I'm fixing to turn 70 , and still riding rigid . Stuff your judgements in your ear .
Too bad it doesn't have the matching rear trailer, to go on that hitch in the back of it. That is a big selling point as well not mentioned in the first half of the test ride.
How old is really old Lol, but seriously I thought about a trike or scooter due to having lower back surgery almost 2 years ago and neck surgery last year
BEWARE! I had a Motor Trike kit installed by Bob Bowman Superior Trikes, Florence, SC. They knowingly delivered my trike to me with numerous issues and 2 dangerous issues = did not torque down handle bars and they almost came off while riding and reverse battery was wrong size and installed incorrectly which melted the terminals. If Superior Trikes didn't know all of the 12 issues prior to delivery then they shouldn't be doing any installations at all! I have pictures, videos, text msgs, tel nbrs, email addresses etc. for anyone to see. Motor Trike corporate (President Jeffrey Vey) told me I had to have the very dealer that did the shit installation repair the issues or warranty would be void. Is that legal?
I absolutely love the reciting of scripture in this video ,Americans have lost their love of God and it's tearing our country apart ,I'm 72 yrs old and your the 1st man under 50 I've seen reciting Christian scriptures ,it's now become trendy to convert to the cult of Islam for white Americans and it's sad .
Nice video, but if you came through my neighborhood approaching 45+ in a 25 res where kids might be, you might be disappointed when you see the mark the rock leaves.
I just wish an operator could straighten out his/her legs on the Goldwing, whether a 2 wheeler or a three wheeler. A operator over six feet in height can often become uncomfortable fairly quickly.
Just recently road a Honda Goldwing also with the California side car, this was the worst thing i ever rode, the least little movement of the handle bar it was all over the road so when you say it's smooth just can't understand why you would say this, another after riding the same twike said the same thing, so what's the deal P.s. It was a automatic
I'm 51 and have been riding since I was 4. Have ridden every bike you can emagine and always wanted a goldwing trike. I bought an 96 gl1500 with csc conversion about a month ago. I'm 6'2 and have a hard time shifting and using rear brake. I like the way it rides and handles just wish there was a way to make it easier and more comfortable for a tall rider. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Michael Ledford where did you get can am are not dependable my spyder F-3 has been bullet proof.

What the hell dude Im old enough to be you grandfather and I still ride Honda Goldwing quit knocking older people by saying "Unless your really old." That is nonsense.
I bet you wear Gloves too..
So he's probably about 38, his Father would be about 60, so your about 82, ok

I purchased a trike about 4 years ago and enjoy riding it. Although I sometimes miss 2 wheels in the mountains.
STEVE : I ALSO. MISS " LEANING
INTO THE TWISTIES " WITH COUNTER STEERING INVOLVED.
Is that a heel n toe shifter or can you fit your toes under the gear lever with that footboard?
And the price is??
How wide. Is the back end of the bike with the Trike kit installed
What are you asking for that honda trike What year and how many miles
you don't lose luggage space. there is a large trunk space between the rear wheels.
My neighbor is looking for a trike what yr an price is it
Does this vehicle fall over when you make hard turns, while speeding. I bet he does though.
With my back an neck. This is exactly what I need in my life.

I have a 1500 goldwing trike with a 6 degree addition rake, it is like having power steering
Do you get slow speed front wheel shake ?
Can you turn this trike into an automatic transmission instead of manual??
Where are you getting these things... I like this one
My stepfather has one of these (in red, CSC kit). They're cool, for sure.
How is the position when you corner I ride a Tri Glide and tend to slide a tad how does this compare to a Goldwing trike
Very good video however I'm thinking of getting a trike never been on a bike with gears you said to learn on a bike first does it really matter could I learn with a trike I don't want a bike at all
Do such trikes have reverse gear as well? It looks almost impossible to use legs to reverse it like normal bikes.
Yes they have reverse.
Where are you price?
Do they make these in automatic I don't know how to change gears
jac Black yes they do. The dct
Where are you. You still selling trikes. Love that you quote the word.
Looking for back rest 2007 GL 1800 goldwing
I just simply do not have any desire for a motorcycle other than a trike. I'm not that old.
Do you need an M1 license to drive one of these?
can you possibly tell me where I can buy a trike similar to this and approximately what price range would it be,needs to be comfortable, easy to handle, turn, basically a trike that a disabled person would be able to ride without any major problems, your help would be much appreciated.
i got a harley free wheeler and damn it is fun. you need to try it out
Too bad the faring lower section on each side isn't open to allow your legs to stretch forward like on a cruiser bike.

It's a shame you no longer do solo test rides.
Atleast on this one they aren't bro'ing it up... and you can get a decent view of the "bike"

How much are you asking?
It’s on our website Srkcycles.com
I think at 19,900
Too bad it doesn't have the matching rear trailer, to go on that hitch in the back of it. That is a big selling point as well not mentioned in the first half of the test ride.
Just inherited my father's 1989 Goldwing 1500 Anniversary Model. Wish I had the owner's manual, any suggestions?

That fz07 sounded so good the whole time lol
How old is really old Lol, but seriously I thought about a trike or scooter due to having lower back surgery almost 2 years ago and neck surgery last year

M. Ledford....he didn't quote from the CHRISTIAN BIBLE. He quoted from the JEWISH one. RABBI & PROPHET MOSES wrote Deuteronomy.
Ok it's a 2007 what's the price
Website says $21,200

nice ride but be nice if honda would make a trike like harley did.
HuH? He's riding a Honda trike?
Love the words of wisdom section! Keep it up.
Appreciate ya 💯
I just wish an operator could straighten out his/her legs on the Goldwing, whether a 2 wheeler or a three wheeler. A operator over six feet in height can often become uncomfortable fairly quickly.
Just put on highway pegs. I have them on my Goldwing Trike.
Don't forget us vets for trikes that need the extra help..

I wanna see that vstar650 trike review 😜
You did not demo how fast you can corner a 90degree at a traffic junction. You did it very slowly
OK, the trike is cool and all, but WHAT was the bike the other dude was riding? That thing sounded WICKED!
COYOTE ADVENTURES
Ok
Hey guys god bless how much are you asking
Honda Trikes are not for the tall guy, the shifter isn't far enough forward which makes it very uncomfortable.
I'm 51 and have been riding since I was 4. Have ridden every bike you can emagine and always wanted a goldwing trike. I bought an 96 gl1500 with csc conversion about a month ago. God 1st
The person on the Green bike needs to learn how to shift. I hope that was done on purpose for some reason because if not... well some people I guess 🙄
My brother has one loaded he's looking to sale.
So conclusion is : buy if you are old and can't ride normal bike :)))))
Your tag along needs to have a quieter bike.
❤
Nice
What have you been smoking man?
Vorrei traduzioni in Italiano.
