  • How does design provide a better explanation for biological functions and adaptations than natural selection? And how can engineering principles help us to understand biological design?
Episode 22 of The Creation Podcast is part two of our CET episodes. Host Ivana Semidey and ICR President Dr. Randy Guliuzza go deeper into the model of Continuous Environmental Tracking (CET), how it explains the biological functions of creatures, and how it moves us away from the death-driven theory of evolution.

This is great. This makes way more sense than natural selection.
It's a pity the other creation science ministries out there are still holding on to the dead orthodoxy of natural selection.
I commend you for being independent thinkers.

I love this tactic yes yes yes you are right on. Look at our DNA it is an extreme dialogue on how an organism will grow and adapt and react. An incredible library for each organism to be built according to its specific uses and purposes. Intelligent intelligent intelligent design is incredibly amazingly reality.

Oohh. So, right near the end, mosquitoes are mentioned and I have something to share about them. My memory is rather sketchy, apologies for that but I think there's still enough I retained to be worth it. So, in one of the holistically planned grazing or permaculture vlogs or talks I was watching once told about someone's observations on a positive effect of mosquitoes on the land/soil/ecosystem (in particular when cattle aren't in a closely, well managed system like the above methods but even within those). The cattle prefer to hang out under the cover of trees during the heat of the day, and usually naturally make their way out to the open grazing as the day cools off anyhow ( as a former dairy farmer I can attest) but as the mosquitoes are also congregating in shade, thier biting is also a driving factor to keep the cattle from hanging out there overlong, and doing too much damage/pruning/disturbance or not being elsewhere enough. Something like that. Anyways, it was cool and at least one little ex. of WHY God made mosquitoes or what good thing can they even do. Also btw, for a lot of folks cutting refined sugar completely out of their diet fixes their issue of being a mosquito magnet. It hasn't worked 100% for me ( I'd already rarely been having refined sugar for other reasons, and have unrefined coconut sugar or cane sugar, honey ( trying to get it form bees never fed corn syrup or any ol sugar water) or maple syrup, and usually very little of them).
Also, I highly recommend that everyone watch Alan Savory's presentation at Harvard U on reversing desertification, which is what that type of grazing does. It's just plain the best way to manage animals on the land, regardless, but amazingly can also do this, in every climate. I know over-all this earth is wearing out and all, & definitely hope Jesus comes real soon for His Bride, but meanwhile, in seeking to be the best stewards we can be, this IS true and IS very helpful, and DOES help out witness, and help us nowadays esp. with really helpful counters to the "eat bugs to save the planet" type campaigns. As y'all probably know, there's plenty against that and for other things ( letting poultry eat the bugs instead being an obvious one) but this too, is really worth knowing about and it's actually just fun ! Also, please be a more informed "consumer", "voting" /supporting good stewardship with your $ and showing young farmers which niche, what practices are growing in demand and support, so they can even hear about this, much less be inspired to do it or feel more secure in trying new things. Read Joel Salatin's books plz. !

Personally I've flirting with this similar idea in relation creationism after I watched an interview with Michael Behe. He is a not a Christian but he found that there is not examples of genetically added DNA through so called evolution but rather De-evolution or the breaking of genetic sequences/ using existing DNA internal to the individual.

    • @leroybrown9143
      @leroybrown9143 2 роки тому +3

I'm pretty certain that Behe is a church going Christian.
I've observed this myself and simply called it adaptation. It's rapid precisely because it doesn't rely on mutations and selection. It's in every organism, it must have been present from first appearance and cannot have arisen in any step wise fashion as any creature that cannot adapt could never have survived waiting endless amounts of time for a beneficial mutation to produce a trait the organism needs today.

@@leroybrown9143 I’ve read Stephen Meyer’s second book, in which he talks about the impossibility of waiting for changes to happen through mutation. If the universe is really 13.8 billion years old, as cosmologists claim, that’s still not enough time to evolve the life forms we have on earth by simply waiting for mutations to happen. :)

Just learning about the this model which makes a lot more since. evolution/Darwinism never explained why we have living fossils like the sealowcap fish ,crocodilians, sea sponge. Could you please go into more detail on how this model of Engineering based lifeforms fits or explains massive extinction events/animal groups. that’s always kind of thrown me because entire groups of animals are gone. I’m talking groups like dinosaurs Ice age mega fauna Cambrian period sea life ect…

The evolutionist do observe CET (adaptation triggered by a stimulus with no darwinian mutations over time in play). They simply misinterpret it with a darwin of the gaps mentality and call it, "rapid evolution." Because, of course they do.

Your post is totally typical of those who get under creation vids to attack them. Such posters say zero about science. Like you, they present no data, evade the data given in a vid, and don’t say a word to refute that data. But they seem to think they said something about science!

@@georg7120 but you so-called wasted your time to get on here and make a comment which, again, says nothing about science. But we are supposed to believe that you’re a real expert on science?
You have also admitted that you won’t even look at data which threatens your belief system.
The obvious truth is that you really have no data to refute the scientific evidence presented. If you even dared to examine it.
Come out of the disinfo matrix. Lies and pseudo science fairy tales are not your friends. I will pray for you but you are now on mute as just saying “Yer wrong!” is not doing science.
