@@joec361 I think it's fun solo but you can also play co-op with some friends OR you can play against other people on pvp servers. The game does have a lot of crafting. Maybe it's like 40 percent combat and 60 percent crafting. If you like the vampire theme it's a cool game.

Only game ive played on my ps5 since it launched. My girlfriend is addicted too, we play every day after work. Just doing a private server pve run for now but I can see myself playing for a very long time when I dive into pvp. 10/10
I am absolutely hooked on this game. I played it on PC as well, and it took me a while to adapt to the controller, but after about 20 hours I wouldn't go back to keyboard and mouse. Fantastic game. I play on a hardcore PvP server, and have yet to see any PvP. I think everyone is gearing up first, I am sure it's coming.
this perspective is not isometric. isometry means much more than ‘top-down;’ isometry preserves all lengths. it’s an imaginary, impossible perspective, most useful for blueprints, but it sometimes appears in games. isometry is not used in V Rising

Typically if I get a code for video purposes, the gameplay will be recorded in 4K since I have the means to do so. In this case, we only got the one code which went to Rob, the reviewer, who doesn't have the equipment for 4K recordings! Hope that clears things up a little! - Aaron
It has a paid Castlevania dlc with some really good looking Castlevania style cosmetics for your castle plus a couple Castlevania music tracks you can play in your castle and a couple of the character skins. Really cool game, recommended!
@@joek1978atyahoo It's a crossover between V Rising and Castlevania where they added a free update that adds Simon Belmont in V Rising as a vampire hunter that you can fight and get his whip. They also released a paid DLC Castlevania themed pack that has a good amount of stuff in it. Skins, 2 music tracks, lots of decorations etc. My opinion it's a crossover that makes since because V Rising is a game where you play as a vampire. I bought the paid Castlevania dlc because it's got alot of cool content. Enjoying the game so far although it's got way more crafting than I'm used to. Still you can build some really good looking castles. I'm currently playing solo but the game does have co-op pve and also pvp as options.
It’s great but also kinda fucked up as all your can be erased in a instant or if a server goes down only way to assume none of this is a private game but then you lose the majority of the meat and potato’s which is the PvP and online interactions
Never know why people say it's a Diablo like game. Leaves Diablo for dead. The relaxed mode in this game can be really tough. You never really struggle in Diablo but you do in this. Top notch game. Good review except for the score. Minimum 9/10.

The combat is similar to Diablo but it's the rest is more base building, inventory management, and very light survival elements mainly just the need for blood to heal and avoid sunlight to avoid damage. I've only played a few hours though like maybe 2 or 3

I guess it's a product of the "why do you care how other people play games" people. Regret buying it. It's barely 5% of the game that the hype suggests.
This game is like crack so addictive. Played for four hours yesterday and all I done was make my castle more fitting for a vampire lord.

You can adjust so much in the settings including giving yourself an insane amount of resources for every drop.
It's like.rust.. your base gets raided all the time if you don't sink every hour you have into it..
It would be worth it if you didn't have to do a ton of stuff just to build a castle, wish I knew that before buying.
