How far is a good turnout... Not flat side to side, right? Is each foot at a 45 degree angle correct? I kind of heard the father you can go, but I'm also don't think flat up against eachother is correct either.

Or is the difference just in coreography? I know it might be a silly question .I was reading a bit about Irish dance and history then I wondered ...thanks so much .I hope you had a great day !
No problem 👍 it depends! Traditionally I would say there is a difference between male and female Irish Dance. Men doing more heel clicks and percussive tricks, and women doing more tricks on their toes. But in recent times, the lines have been more blurred. In my opinion, I say do what makes you happy :)

I think this I kind of what I saw but didn't find a mention of anything specifically in anything I read .I remember you saying were going to Durban in August , Please stay safe ! What a coincidence, I was just talking with a fellow dancer last Friday about how bad we're both at keeping that back foot turned out. Time to drill!
You bet! Anything involving the back foot is naturally more difficult, so it's great to put in that little bit of extra work!
