- Need I say more than Disc Golf in the Redwood forest!? Brooktrails Disc golf course is located in a secondary growth Redwood forest (previously logged) and it has to be one of the most legendary and beautiful places to play disc golf in the United States! Our guest Luke Humphries even went as far as to say it is in his top 5 courses ever played list!

So glad to watch this, I get a lot of people surprised that I insist Brooktrails is better than Golden Gate if you can only play one, but I stand by it. So spectacular, yet so civilized. I'm jealous, 15 is my favorite ace run on the course but the last few times I've been there they've had an elevated basket which eliminates my play, the flex forehand skip shot (I have hit the cage, thanks for asking).
I've started using that Luke Jumphreys hopper at 10-15 meters and it's so nice
I have got to get out there to see those redwoods... and play some DG!!
There is a good cluster of courses just a couple hours north of The Bay, but Brooktrails is the crown jewel. Don't tell Connor because it might hurt his feelings, but Brooktrails isn't at significant elevation, just 1500 feet, no need to train at altitude.
I hit the hole 10 ace the second time I played there.
