if you need a small ace run course to warmup before pdxo, i highly suggest rockwood park. just down the street from glendoveer, it’s got a whole community surrounding the park, super cool spot. vance park is also just right down the street from it. good luck at glendoveer!
I picked up two first run R Blend Glyph and one first run C Blend color glow metal flake Glyphs. They are a ton of fun to throw. I think I prefer the R Blend. To me, it flies like a hybrid Polecat/ Berg disc. They're pretty good for putting as well. I also found a PFN Champ Monarch recently. It bombs but has a ton of turn. I have gotten it over 300' a few times on flat ground. I didn't know they were making them again in halo plastic. I might have to get one. I also found your tour series stamp Sphinx in the used bin on Saturday. I haven't had time to throw it yet. Feels very nice though.
Bring a hot plate and a pot to the course, make yourself some mid round ramen (as one does) then "accidentally" leave the pot full of hot water sitting on top of your disc with the underside of the flight plate supported by a flat disc (cardboard circles work well). As long as its on the course its plausibly legal
My favorite way is setting on my dash in the car, then taking out to a course and throwing some forehand rollers Gives it that good beat up edge and flattens them out. At least for my wizards is does.
Just leave disc on your front seat in the sun, let it get hot and put it in a stuffed bag with a driv3r dome pressing on the top on putter, will push the top inward
Hello Mr sir guy. I'm looking for a straight and glidey fairway, the workhorse fairway. I'm stuck between too many options. I won't list them all but your Sphinx is one of them. My question is your Sphinx seem to be more stable than -3, 1 would suggest. I only throw about 300 max with fairways, average probably 280-285. So would that Sphinx still be a straight flyer for me? If so are there any differences between colors of the halo plastic? My bag is all pink but I'll bag whatever if it's gonna help me find the flight I'm searching for.
Yooo. I have recently fallen absolutely in love with my Vandal (Risky Wysocky fuzion orbit). I feel like Calvin throwing it. Biggg turnovers, great glide, can make it deviate mat most like 1 meter from it's path on a good executed hyzerflip. I throw live just above 300 average with fairwas for reference.

Hot damn that Infinite/Clash Lotus looks so nice. Also flies real nice as well.

This is the video I’ve been waiting for! I wanted to see that Halo Monarch fly!
I bought a champion monarch a few years ago when I first got into disc golf and no joke it flew like a PD.
Love you my brother
a heat gun to the top and then a little weight while it cools
If you want to beat the Marvels in, throw in the clothes dryer. (Not on heat)

Fiiiiiiine, I’ll buy a Lotus, you twisted my arm
Don't sleep on the bodanza sphinx, threw it today to cover. 700ft hole 🕳️ in 2 drives. 172g
Love me some monarchs, order 3 earlier today.
For legal ways to beat those putters in.. have you tried putting practice?
Just pretend you're Gannon from 18 feet and jam the pole like it drank from your milkshake when you weren't looking.
I love me a monarch. Ordered 3 earlier today.
hello there mr banana
❤
sit on the disc. very legal. you tellin me a guy can't relax?
If you can use it as a knee-pad, clearly a chair must be legal.
