You gave us MTV cribs, you gave Architectural Digest, you served us organised beauty and aspiration. The quality mixed with camcorder footage was it. Love this tour, I'm obsessed x
I like how you didn't skip over the little things like the stands and how the backdrops are stored as it's great to learn what other photographers are doing. I would love to have my own studio someday and love the style of yours!
Awesome tour of your new studio Ian - I love how well put together it is and everything in its right place. Very well thought out, just like your images!
Could you do a video where you explain different positionings of light and how they can effect an image/ achieve a specific look? Kind of similar to your previous but in depth? I’m completely new to fashion photography and I love the way you explain things - it makes it so easy to understand!
I am so happy to have watched your video, simple soothing & yet very much informative, i am planning to do this on my own ever since I was a kid, lol I just love clicking that perfect shot, you know!! All thanks to you, now I am actually more confident in my project!! Cheers!! ❤️❤️❤️
What a legit set-up! Well done Ian. How has it been having your own studio? Do you feel having that convenience of having your own studio has helped you get more work too?
Great video. Very informative. Thank you. Can you let us know how big is the overall studio space? How many square feet of space. I was looking for a 1000 square foot space for myself but the rentals are through the roof in my area. May have to settle for something smaller.
I love love the Canon AE1..used it for decades. Dropped it multiple times, and it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. My dad gave it to me in college...bring back film. I miss it.
What an awesome studio and great tour. I’m a big DIYer and playing around with the idea of building a pole building studio. Can you tell me the rough dimensions of yours? I’m leaning toward 30x40 but not sure how tall to have my ceilings if I’m going to have people jumping or on boxes. Thanks a lot, great space you’ve made there.
love your work and your video.. just a silly question when you paint your white form broad in black colour. what kind of paint? or black spray. or matt black colour?? thanks . G
@Ian I noticed you didn't have any wardrobe hanging. I guess being on your level there's no need to do collaboration shoots. I find myself purchasing pieces just to add work to my portfolio. That infinity wall is a game-changer tho.
Nice Studio setup and some useful tools that are necessary for the sort of shoots that you do. I am surprised that you did not show us a Canon R5. That goes to say DSLR is still alive so I will still hold on to my 5D MKIII. Thanks for posting!
Hi Ian, what do you think about the canon 6d camera? I'm looking to upgrade from the rebel t6i but can't decide between the 5d m iv and the 6d ii. Ideally I would go with the 5d m iv but budget wise it might be better to pick a different camera for now.
i love your videos. about that white matte floor you got, is that can be washed with floor soap or something? just to reduce the repaint too often? (i hope you understand my question, i cant speak english well)
You gave us MTV cribs, you gave Architectural Digest, you served us organised beauty and aspiration. The quality mixed with camcorder footage was it. Love this tour, I'm obsessed x
😂😂 obsessed with your comment! Thanks so much ❤️

As long as you keep watching, I'll keep making them 😉
Claiming it! I will have my own studio in the near future!
Absolutely!

Really liked the layout of the entire studio. Even the storage areas were designed with purpose and minimalism which I love
I love your photography and the way you speak. You are confident, professional and so authentic
Inspiring! Thank you for this!
And I really wished we're in a panoramic right now. 9:39 😂

hi, great video thanks, can you tell me where you bought that stands for the polyboards?
Great Video, What size is your Cyc Wall? I have a new space that has 12' celings and I think I have space for a 12'x12' Cyc Wall.

Question
i focus more on fashion photography with very simple background and props, do you have any store or diy recommendations for props like this?
clean and functional, fantastic studio ;)
Thanks a lot!
Thank you for sharing!!
Beautiful studio like mine. I use the crocs inside me too. ahahah I love the CANON 6D!! Ciao from MILANO!! ;)
@Ian I noticed you didn't have any wardrobe hanging. I guess being on your level there's no need to do collaboration shoots. I find myself purchasing pieces just to add work to my portfolio. That infinity wall is a game-changer tho.
I do test shoots but I usually work with a stylist so no need to have my own wardrobe :)
This guy is ultra organised.
Lovely studio! Where did you say you got the white cube thing from? Something & Pedestals?
Thanks! - plinthsandpedestals.co.uk :)

Haven't tried the R5 as yet! Will probably be a while before I buy one with that £4k price tag!
