I love the way the Mets Broadcaster called out their own team for this Bush League move by hitting Jayson Werth. I disdain homer broadcasters even when my team has them (not that they necessarily do). This was so refreshing.
The Mets have always shied away from homer announcers. MAYBE Ralph Kiner could have been a little bit of one. But even if you count him, he was the last. Most NY announcers are not. (Well...except for the Yankees.) Except now, the Knicks announcers HAVE to be or they will get fired like Marv Albert did for criticizing the Knicks. James Dolan doesn't want the world to know how badly he fucked up two teams that had both gone to the Finals (one winning, one losing in 7 games) the year before his daddy bought the Garden for him.
Dolan honestly doesn't realize people feel that way about him. He thins he comes out look good when he throws out paying fans for criticizing him. Or throwing out Charles Oakley.
@@KnickKnack07 What I don't understand about the criticism James Dolan gets is that the Rangers were very good for about 5 years in the early 2010's. Very exciting teams that made deep runs. Even going to the Stanley Cup Finals versus the LA Kings in 2014. So why have the Knicks struggled so bad during this same time? Also, remember, the NHL is a lot more competitive than the NBA (we can discuss further but it's easier to become better in the NBA when all you need is about 3 Players). Me & a few buddies went to go hear Jeff Torborg speak in NYC over 30 years ago. The guy caught Koufax's perfect game, one of Nolan Ryan's no-hitters & more. A big league ball-player. But one thing he said always stayed with me - if a batter gets hit by a pitch, it wasn't an accident.

SonicGlitchmaster1 it’s called old school breaking up the double play and since utmost you know played most of his career in the older era he’d be breaking up a double play like an old school player, which he was
Shawnn Adams you do that while still going into second base. Going out of your way to disrupt the fielder, which happened here, automatically gives the double play. Even back then. It’s technically “up to umpires discretion” but you can see him start to slide after his body is past the bag, and he ends up past it by a good 5 feet.
The clip of Utley sliding into second base was not bush leaague. Before MLB starting turning everyone into sissies, which was when this play happened, the slide was perfectly legal. It was bush league to consider this play as being bush league.

Also supposed to learn from my manual corrections, but not matter how many times, even during the same text that I manually correct it to PITCHER, it will still type out PICTURE if I say it again.) And so many other just horrendous attempts on their part.
I love when Buck and Pat do the games.
I love how managers complain when umps warn both teams. What's the ump gonna do?
"Hey. Warning!" Then turn...
"Hey! You get one free shot!"
TheBatugan77 fair is fair lol
Eject the pitcher.
I love the way the Mets Broadcaster called out their own team for this Bush League move by hitting Jayson Werth. I disdain homer broadcasters even when my team has them (not that they necessarily do). This was so refreshing.
CrociatoAzzurro: That’s good ol’ ‘86 World Series champion, Mets starting pitcher, Ron Darling. A total class act.
@@KnickKnack07 although that didn't work because James Dolan is far and away THE WORST owner in the NBA and everybody knows it
Dolan honestly doesn't realize people feel that way about him. He thins he comes out look good when he throws out paying fans for criticizing him. Or throwing out Charles Oakley.
@@KnickKnack07
What I don't understand about the criticism James Dolan gets is that the Rangers were very good for about 5 years in the early 2010's.
(I don't live in NY so I don't know)
Chase Utley's INTENTIONAL spike slide is one of the biggest bush league plays ever in baseball
Only saying that cause you’re a Braves fan and he owned your team for 15 years. Stfu, it was clean.
@@IBangedUrMom69420 ask any real baseball fan and they will tell you. It’s okay to be in denial. Scrub.
Enjoy the concussion Chase. You deserve it.
Enjoy the spot in the Hall Chase, you deserve it
Me & a few buddies went to go hear Jeff Torborg speak in NYC over 30 years ago. The guy caught Koufax's perfect game, one of Nolan Ryan's no-hitters & more. A big league ball-player. But one thing he said always stayed with me - if a batter gets hit by a pitch, it wasn't an accident.
The Utley play will forever be one of the dirtiest plays
4:11 Even Mets broadcasters know a fool on their team when they see one
The one with Seager, he DESERVED it. He was in the box but continually asked for time?????
Have to show the fight between Rangers and Blue Jays 😂
Not a better way in the world to cap off an MLB vid than with A7X at the end. Bravo sir!
I love it how Jose Bautista just bat flipped and pissed off the rangers in the postseason and expects to not get thrown at.
I think Weaver had every right to plunk Seager
For not being patient
@@galactic_clashx4056 for being a douche bag. It's not about being patient. Know the nuonces of the game.
Ben Riffle so your telling me that guy deserves to get hit for calling time because the pitcher was being a bitch I mean it’s a pretty pussy move to hit someone instead of pitching like what you get paid to do
Ben Riffle I mean I know if I was pitching to you I’d hit you on purpose but that’s only because you’re an idiot
@@galactic_clashx4056 you ever even thrown a real baseball, or do you just sit at home uploading UA-cam videos of you playing the show? you fookin loser.
"Matt Bush has zero history with Jose Bautista."
He's not wrong; it was Sam Dyson who gave up that long ball in the 2015 ALDS
But then Bautista went Bush League and tried to injure Odor at 2nd on the double play and started WW III with the next hitter.
Do catchers getting crossed up!!
Arod deserves all bush league plays lol
i have been in a 2 hour rabbit hole for these videos. help
Can you do Angel Hernandez actually getting calls right
Video length: 00:00
@@kittle3494 true
Me big Oof Angel Hernandez getting a call right? Never heard of anything remotely close to that before.
That doesn’t exist
As bad as he is he's had one decent call. That hidden ball trick with Mike Lowell and the Marlins Vs the DBacks
That slide by Utley still makes me cringe. I don’t know why he felt that he needed to do that
SonicGlitchmaster1 ..I am a lifelong Phillies fan and I agree
SonicGlitchmaster1 it’s called old school breaking up the double play and since utmost you know played most of his career in the older era he’d be breaking up a double play like an old school player, which he was
To break up the double and let the tying run score. He was perfectly fine doing just this.
That’s the way the game used to be played. Good to see that it’s been taken out of the game, don’t want to see guys get hurt like that
Shawnn Adams you do that while still going into second base. Going out of your way to disrupt the fielder, which happened here, automatically gives the double play. Even back then. It’s technically “up to umpires discretion” but you can see him start to slide after his body is past the bag, and he ends up past it by a good 5 feet.
Can you do worst/best curtain calls
The clip of Utley sliding into second base was not bush leaague. Before MLB starting turning everyone into sissies, which was when this play happened, the slide was perfectly legal. It was bush league to consider this play as being bush league.
Sliding hard into second to break it up used to be baseball before players turned their cups inside out.

This is the play Terry Collins was referring to during that beautiful, mic’d up meltdown he had after his pitcher got tossed for throwing at Chase. “MLB did nothin to that guy!” meaning Chase Utley wasn’t really punished for intentionally bowling over Tejada and causing an injury.
Can u plz do a vid about yasiel puig styling for the crowd plz btw congrats on 100k!
I can't believe that nobody from the Mets went after Utley. The scumbag was one of the dirtiest players in the game.
That was one play.....and it was bad but i watched that guy for years and he was not dirty
CC Sabathia always bout that action 😂😂
I have always liked a hard slide to break up the double play but Utley’s slide was ridiculous.
Chris Davis highlights this season
Not in the lineup 75% of the time with strikeouts consisting of 80% of the at bats. Baltimore appears to be playing him as little as possible.
What highlights? Could do top 10 chris davis stairs at called 3rd strike
Im a die-hard O's fan... what highlights? The only highlight will be when his contract expires in a few dreadfully long years
That's a shove - not a sucker punch.
4:43 - So who's the bush leaguer in this one? Seager was ridiculous, and Weaver responded in kind.
This is how a little girl (seager) acts when the best she can do is hit .221.
Weaver is such a baby. So heartwarming to see him tossed!
And Boston fans are losers - applauding for hitting ARod. Low class losers. And I am not a Yankees fan.
5:00 Even Helen Keller saw that one coming...
Yankee hater here but CC will do ANYTHING for his teammates...let him loose coach.
As a Yankees fan, you're completely right. It's why I like CC
As a Yankees fan no he wouldn’t he’s a fat alcoholic bitch who abounded his team during the the playoffs

utley broke the double play!!! no bush bs on that one
The Chase Utley slide was completely legal at the time.
if Chase Utley slides like that into my teammate I'm chasing him into the dugout to get him back.
If Tejada wasn't injured, we would all be celebrating his hard-nose attitude.
Utley was AWESOME!!!!
OP, don't listen to these backwater low IQ idgits. Utley made very little play to the base and his intentions were clear. Dirty to the core.
And then you’d get beat the fuck up
its just old school baseball
