It was a hell of a game to watch, that's for sure! You saw glimpses of Derricks personality when he was with Miami but it's been a pleasant surprise to myself and many how big his personality really is. Thankfully the Reds let him be himself. I’ve literally never seen any clips of Dietrich other than him pimping on the Pirates and I absolutely love this guy. He’s like a WWE character in baseball.
When Dietrich was with the Marlins, and Archer with the Rays, Chris had an over celebration after striking him out. There was bad blood before they ended up on the Reds/Pirates.
Chris Archer is the biggest hypocrite in Baseball. I’m going to do a video on him soon. He dances after a strikeout but if you watch your home run he throws at you.
Never really understood some "unwritten rules" at times. You see guys get thrown at for taking maybe 2 seconds to admire their work, when they know it's long gone, and usually it's an important run or more in the game. Imagine if when a pitcher gets an important out and yells in excitement, next batter comes up takes a hack at the ball and their bat "slips" out of their hand and hits the pitcher. Think they would just warn both sides??
That “revenge home run” of Jose Fernandez was not a revenge home run actually those two clips were three years apart. The pitch where it got thrown behind him was 3 years after the homer

@@jakeclark8955 But here's the thing, if batters get blown away and struck out they don't throw the bat at the pitcher or charge the mound in embarassment. Your GF's BF throwing around the head is some bitch shit. But pitchers back in the day would peg them just so they could start a fight with the guy the universal rule was below the waist. Nolan Ryan did it all the time
