To record on the Ninja five without the screen appearing on the Ninja you need to find the setting in your Canon R6 that controls the HDMI output. I don't have a R6 so I don't know what the exact setting is called since I have a Sony but you need to turn that off so that the camera can send a clean image to the Ninja. On Sony cameras that setting is called HDMI Info Display. If you can find a setting that sounds similar to that try turning it off to see if the Ninja gets a clean image. I don't know of a way to save photos from the camera to the Ninja other than copying the files from the memory card to the hard drive of the Ninja using a computer. I don't think the Ninja can capture the photos the camera takes because it's more for video use.
Great Content, keep it up.

I always hated how the version one just flopped around after you turned it off.
