Thanks, just wanted to see how it looked once turned on b4 I build this 2nd hand part I've just got today.
Thanks for watching.
Nice going bro
Thanks mate
is it just me or is the RGB of the pump not addressable by Aura Sync? Only the two fans can be controlled by armoury crate.
Mine was daisy chained and worked okay, bit odd that yours isn't.
Nice review 😊
P.S : I actually got a new psu so i left the option that burns down my house😂
Next upgrade is motherboard-cpu-ram-cooler (proly Aio)
Thanks mate.
Haha, nice one
Do you know if the ARGB of the pump work with RGB Fusion by Gigabyte ?
Yeah it will.
I know scan probably want you to push this but, off the record xD is this a good cpu cooler? would it be suitable for a 7800x3d?
They just sent it, I'm under no obligation to push it as good if its not, I'd never do that anyway. A sponsored showcase may have key points and features pushed, but then if it's paid, there won't be personal opinions in it anyway ☺
I used it on a 13600k and it worked well (TUF build on the channel) but the X3D's can get warmer, so go for the 360mm version if you have the space.
@@jordanash great, i was looking for 13600k cooling is this lc240 better then arctic 240 ? which one should i chose between those two aio, thanks
They'll be pretty much the same, both Asetek 7th gen pumps as far as I know
would this v1 support am5? or only v2?
Yeah ☺
Nice
Thanks mate!
Is this cooler ok for an Ryzen 7700X or 7800X3d or should i buy a bigger/another one. I am new to liquid cooling, so thx for any answer.
For the 7700X it'll be fine, might be a tad warm with the 7800X3D though. They've since released a V2 in 360mm (video on my channel), I'd recommend that for the 7800X3D if you have the space. It'll keep cooler plus fans won't need to spin as much with the increased radiator area.
@@jordanash hey, i checked recent tests and the 7700X seems to get even hotter then the 7800X3D ^^.
Fair enough, I've not used them so was going off the TDP.
What is the speed of the pump?
I can't remember myself I'm afraid as this was a while ago now, I don't think they list it online either. I'd email them if you really need to know.
The pump and the fans noise is too much worse?
It's not that noisy at all.
I took this cooling a few days ago but for 1 day one of the fans is no longer on like before: is it a defect or some particular setting that needs to be looked at?
Is everything connected okay?
@@jordanash perhaps it is a defect
is it connected okay though? Try re-plugging it
@@jordanash They fitted it to me at the shop and I don't know where the connector is
Sounds like a fan connector has just come loose. It'll be easy to check on the back panel
Does it work good with 12600k or 13600k?
I used this in the TUF build on the channel, that has a 13600k. I talk about thermals with it there - ua-cam.com/video/bSCVsmi-1N4/v-deo.htmlsi=E0FG4NL5wjSN9XAR
what was the idle temp for 7 5800x3d on this cooler? also does it spike a lot 🤔?
Sub 40 if I remember. That's more dependant on what yours using the system for
@@jordanash planning on using it on gaming, 3d, etc.. (and browsing, watching on idle?) also do u mind sharing the ambience temp? i can't decide which aio to get at this point, because i had mine, and it does spike a lot (like from 48 - 63), prob because the scratch on the aio's (i don't really know) and idling at 43 at 25c + amb temp. and on load bf v 78-80.. and also thanks.
Ambient should be in the video
@@jordanash do you think it's enough for mine? or should i get higher one like nzxt / asus rog lc 240? would that be overkill?
@@kiii-6701 Looking at the current temp in the video after that cinebench run, it was less than 30, so I think that'll be fine.
how does it pair with ryzen 7 5800x?
Well considering I used a 5800X3D in this video and that's hotter, I'm sure it'll do well.
compatible with am5??
Yes
I also have 5800x3d. After this video, I decided to also take such an AIO, since my PBO -30 stress temperature is 83-85 and sometimes when loading games, the cooler howls with a temperature of under 80, plus the 3080 video card supplies hot air to the tower and additionally heats it. I hope this cooling will improve the situation, since you are stressed in video 76.
By the way, the stress test was carried out without any additional. processor setting?
What cooler are you using? If you can fit it, I'd definitely go for the 360 version, it'll be even quieter then. All benchmarks are done at stock, to mimic with the majority of users would have.
@@jordanash Bought this cooler. applied mx 4 paste, made curv -30 and was very pleased. video 71-73 average temp in cinebench and have 14400 score
Excellent! Glad it's working well
does it work great with i7 12700kf ?
Yeah should be fine. Maybe go for the 360 if you have the space in the case though, it'll run quieter as the fans can run slower
@@jordanash cant put 360 cause i have xigmatic master x but i want to ask you about somthing this asus lc 240 did they release 2 versions one support 1700 and the other one didnt ??
Put it in the front. Not that I know of. If they did, older ones should have had the new mounting added, as a second revision.
@@jordanash okay then you see that it will be good for i7 12700kf 100% ?
Yep
